Das Personal war sehr nett und hilfreich. Das Zimmer war sauber mit extra abgetrennten Bad und Duschmöglichkeit in der Wanne. Die Übernachtung war inkl. Frühstück. Entgegen vorheriger Bewertungen war es ausgiebig. Man konnte wählen zwischen, Muffin, Beagles, Toast mit Toaster, Waffeln zum selber machen, Obstauswahl, genügent Aufstrich wie versch. Marmeladen und Sirup, zwei versch. Kaffesorten (normal und entkoffeniert) und Saft aus dem Automaten. Alles als free refill. Wer eine Stadtrundfahrt machen möchte kann sich an der Rezeption melden. Von dort kann eine Stadtrundfahrt mit Abholung vom Hotel organisert werden. Also besser geht es gr nicht. Ich kann nur jeden dieses Hotel empfehlen. Würde jederzeit sofort doert wieder übernachten. Volle Punktzahl. Einziger kleiner Abstrich ist die örtl. Umgebung. Auf den ersten Blick sieht die Umgebung etwas ungemütlich aus, aber wenn man daran denkt, das es nicht gerade die Innenstadt ist geht es in Ordnung. Ca. 5 Min Fußweg gibt es zwei Fastfood Restaurants und genau gegenüber ist ein großer (mexikanischer) Supermarkt. Alles in ereichbarer Nähe.

Ich war mit einem Bekannten für 7 Tage in dem Motel. Sehr netter Empfang. Absolut problemlos. Erster Eindruck wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes bestätigt. Frühstück mit frischen warmen Haferflocken, frisches Rührei, gekochte Eier, Waffeln zum selbstbacken, Müsli, Säfte, Obst, Kaffee, Tee, ... -kurzum, für amerikanische Motelverhältnisse absolut super und ausreichend. Das richtige für den Start in den Tag. Lage: ca. 15 Minuten Fussmarsch zum Venicebeach, 5 Minuten zum Hafen von Marina, 15 Minuten zum Harleyverleih am Lincoln- Boulevard, Tiefgaragenparkplätze kostenlos, Zimmer sauber und frisch renoviert -unseres zumindest- Personal immer freundlich, kleiner Pool und Spa zur Erfrischung/ Entspannung, Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten und Gaskamin, für uns jederzeit wieder 1. Wahl für L.A. Aufenthalte!!!!!!!!!

Entlang der palmengesäumten Straßen von Beverly Hills reihen sich Anwesen mit einem Wert von jeweils mehreren Millionen Dollar aneinander. Es ist kein Zufall, dass sich ausgezeichnete Secondhandläden im Melrose District östlich von Beverly Hills niedergelassen haben. Im Melrose District befinden sich viele aufsteigende Designstudios. Das Elan Hotel liegt in Beverly Hills in der Nähe des Beverly Hills Shopping Center. Groceriestores gibt es ausreichend viele in der Umgebung. Bei der Anreise wird man von äußerst freundlichem Personal empfangen. Der Check-In läuft problemlos ab und eventuelle Sonderwünsche (Zimmerwahl etc.) sind auch kein Problem. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel eingerichtet […] und sehr sauber. Im Zimmer ist eine Minibar mit verschiedenen Getränken und eine kleine Snackbar. Die Preise sind durchschnittlich. Die Reinigung der Zimmer erfolgt täglich und auf Wunsch kann man jeden Tag neue Handtücher bekommen. Außerdem legt das Elan Hotel viel auf Nachhaltigkeit und Recycling, da man hingwiesen wird Papier und Flaschen nicht wegzuwerfen. Die Lobby fungiert gleichzeitig als Frühstücksraum. Alles in allem ein ziemlich schickes kleines Hotel in Beverly Hills. Immer wieder gern. Mehr

The Elan is a small hotel, including the size of the rooms and bathrooms. There is no public bathrooms available so if you are meeting someone in the lobby, it is necessary to return to your room to use the facilities. There is very little counter space available for either toiletries or hair products. Our room was very small for 2 people.

Excellent hotel with excellent service. Rooms look perfect, without signs of wearout. Well located close to the airport and Beverly Hills. Shopping mall and good restaurants next door. Great deal for being L.A. I'll recommend it w/o any doubt.

We stayed at the Elan hotel for one night and received exceptional service from the hotel staff. The wine and cheese evenings were also of high standard and the rooms were a nice size with a huge bathroom. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel based on the excellent service!!

"Happy hour!"
This place is great! Not only is the location amazing - right in the heart of Beverly Hills and the Beverly Centre, but they have an awesome all you can drink and eat happy hour! They ALSO have an awesome breakfast! Excellent place for the price, especially in super expensive LA!
"Perfect"
I booked this hotel because we were attending a show at CBS Television Studios. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the studios and the adjacent Farmers Market & The Grove. Two blocks away is a major mall with restaurants and shopping. The hotel can make transportation arrangements via a private car from the airport, they sold us our tour tickets […] for the hop-on, hop-off bus (which I highly recommend if it is your first time visiting). "Great staff, but not worthy of its acclaim."
The service I received at the Elan, from the check in to assistance with my bags and the valet parking, were all top-notch. The room I had (101) was on the tiny side, to be sure, but not problematic and an exceptionally comfortable bed. Unfortunately, if you're in room 101, unless you're a heavy sleeper, you won't be sleeping in late, because the […] complimentary breakfast is being served a few feet from your room. It's a mild annoyance at most, but I'd definitely avoid staying in that particular room again. As several people have noted, valet parking is the only option -- the parking on nearby side streets is all restricted, so you will be paying the valet charge or going for a long walk. Mehr

"Watch the soap"
Under the banner of "no one likes when soaps are used down until they're too little," this bath soap has no center. Cute. Sort of like an empty frame. But ours slipped and broke. Housekeeping took away the pieces but didn't replace it or supply us with bath gel. So, we had to use the little hand soap in the shower. Small inconvenience. Otherwise, lovely […] hotel. "Hotel Elan was just perfect"
on a college tour with my teemage daughter so needed access to Schools but also to the sights of LA. Great location, walked to Farmers Market to eat/shop. Friendly staff, parking on site, room - and bathroom - plenty big enough for 2 and quiet too. Quite the find, if she chooses a school in LA I will be back her on visits!

This hotel was a clean, comfortable, and convenient place to stay while in the LA area to visit my son. The only thing that marred our stay was the garbage being picked up on the side street next to the Elan at 6:30 in the morning. I took a chance on the Elan after reading other reviews. The very best part of my stay was the wonderful, friendly, professional staff at the Elan. The free accessible internet, both in the room and in terminals in the lobby lounge, and the complimentary breakfast and evening wine service just adds to the value of the already well priced room. For the […] location, this is a great place at a fantastic price. My only mild disappointment was that my ground floor room was dark, and to be super picky, the bed spread was cheap hotel polyester - I was surprised by that. But I didn't come to LA to sit in my room, I was on business and for that purpose, I think the Elan is fantastic and would recommend it highly. Mehr

On your next visit I would like to recommend a room on the courtyard side of the hotel or a room facing south which would have more lighting than some of the other rooms. Recently we replaced all of the artwork in the guest rooms and I am pleased to announce that we are in the final phase of upgrading our current bedding package which includes replacing the current bed skirt, adding additional plush goose down pillows, a plush goose down duvet, bolster pillows and a comfortable throw at the foot of the bed. We are also in the process of replacing our nightstand lamps. Once everything is in place this will give the guestrooms a great new look. I look forward to your comments once you see the new package. I spent a few nights at the Elan on my recent visit with my daughter who lives in West Hollywood . Very convenient location, walking distance to the Beverly Center and a number of other shops and restaurants. The included continental breakfast had a good variety of juices, fruit, cereals, breads and pastries, and the afternoon wine and cheese was also […] a pleasant bonus. Management was very friendly and responsive (I was trying to figure out how to turn on the heat in my room). I would definitely stay there again. Mehr
"The Elan Hotel in LA - a very comforable stay"
Great location away from the tourist areas but near enough to still be convenient, particularly if travelling by car. Very helpful, welcoming and friendly staff, nothing was too much effort. Smart room, very comfortable beds. Hotel seems to very well maintained and always appears clean and tidy. We would definitely stay at the Elan again.

What no sure what to expect. This hotel was in such a great loaction with staff who went over and above to help. Great Breakfast Buffet and Cheese and Wine at 6pm. Amazing Value for the money they charge. Would give it a 10 out of 10, and will now be my hotel of choice in LA

"Conveniently located and great front desk staff"
We had a short stay at the Elan for 2 nights and came away happy with the experience. The hotel is located close to shopping, cafes and restaurants. What's more, it's right on the hop on-hop off bus route (which is a good way to see the city if you're there for a day). But the best part about the hotel was the front desk staff, they were really patient […] and helpful (thanks William and Michael!). We didn't get a chance to try the included b'fast (but it looked good), but were really kicked about the wine n' cheese in the evenings! As far as the room goes, it was comfortable enough even if a bit on the small side. Though very clean, I wish it were more modern/chic instead of your regular hotel room, esp for the price charged. But hey, I guess the location, service etc. made up for it! Mehr

"ELAN Hotel is excellent - will stay again!"
Decided to spend a couple of days in L.A. - out by Hollywood; just wanted to stay in a nice hotel and check out some of the museums and sights. I do believe we couldn't have chosen a better hotel than the Elan!! Walking distance to Farmer's Market & The Grove was a great day out! We spent another day down on Hollywood Blvd, less than 2 miles away - […] then took a drive down Rodeo Drive. If you've ever been to El Paseo in Rancho Mirage, CA then Rodeo Drive isn't really that impressive. Anyway, Elan Hotel is soooo clean, nice and comfortable; all staff members were like friends to us; so pleasant and helpful. I am a stickler when it comes to details, but can say only good things about this place. The wine & cheese bar is a wonderful start before leaving for dinner or coming back from a long day out in the city. The breakfast each morning is wonderful as well with great, light choices of pastry, fruit and pasties. This is the only hotel we have ever stayed at that looks and feels exactly like the photos in the ads. LOVE IT & will go back!!! Mehr
"Need to sound proof some rooms"
I stayed in room 201 at this hotel while visiting family. The room appearance and service is acceptable and borders on good, the bed was good. But the room we had was close to the street, and they have a door to the balcony that is facing the street. This door was letting every sound in, bus/truck/car/lawnmower. It was very difficult to have a good […] night rest. Strange no one mentioned it on the reviews on hotel.com, which makes me suspicious regarding the reviews. I would strongly advise anyone staying here to either request a room away from the street, or just stay somewhere else. Mehr

Even though my stay was very short....I was very satisfied....small and cozy. Continental breakfast was a treat also. Overall, very positive.
"Terrible phone signal"
If you plan on bringing and using your cell phone while at this hotel, think again. It is very difficult to find a signal anywhere on the property and it's often very intermittent when you do. I regularly had to walk a block down the street to be able to talk on my phone. As I was in town on business, this was a disaster. The Elan Hotel is conveniently located close to shops, Rodeo Drive and the must-see sights of Tinsel Town. The staff are friendly and helpful and the complimentary breakfast is worth having. We stayed in a ground floor room, which was very comfortable with good quality linen and furnishings. Went to Dancing with the Stars...hotel is very close to the Grove. Very convenient. Staff were extremely accommodating and pleasant. Enjoyed our continental breakfast in the spacious, light filled "lobby" area. Bathroom was large.

I stayed for 3 nights at the Hotel Elan in Beverly Hills and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The hotel itself was very convenient, well furnished and extremely clean. The customer service however was fantastic - from an upgrade to accommodate my niece on a surprise visit to providing shower facilities before my flight the staff could not do enough to help. Go to the Elan Hotel for the covenience of location, the free breakfast and happy hour, and the very nice staff. The king room was a bit small, but the two doubles was very nice sized and the bathroom was much larger. Close walk to many good restaurants including delicious Sushi two doors down! The Élan was very clean, comfortable, attractive, and well-maintained. The staff was uniformly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was excellent. We appreciated the proximity to the Grove.

The cheese and wine afternoons, the chocolates on your pillow with the next days weather forecast etc. Outstanding staff who can't do enough for you, (a big than you to Michael on the front desk for all his advice). On top of being the best bang for your buck, the Hotel Elan truly does provide 5-star amenities and service. The look is very polished and high-end. The location is convenient and accessible. "Freakin' great last night in LA"
We stayed here (two young hipsters, we like to think) for our last night in the states. Friendly service, valet parking is great (although expensive at $24), clean, loved the happy hour with cheeses and wine (pour your own, woo!). And the bed was comfy, although rooms were not enormous (neither were they small). Highly recommend dinner at The Izaka-ya […] - best Japanese I've ever had. Hotel was not bad. Room was small, but they have a nice breakfast and a wine and cheese every afternoon. Be careful that you add the cost of parking into your calculations. The only option here is valet parking at $24/day.

I travel to LA often to visit friends and have stayed quite a few places. All I can say is this. I'm only going to be staying at the Elan from now on.. The staff members all had great personalities, and you could tell they really enjoyed their work. Room was spotless and close to everything if you enjoy the nightlife. This is a pleasant hotel (though with a motel-ish feel) for a traveler on a budget. Staff are friendly, courteous, and helpful. The room we were given was clean and functional. Complimentary breakfast and wine and cheese evenings are nice. "Elan Hotel very friendly and nice"
I stayed here with my husband in a room and my mother and sister in another. The hotel has great location, 1 block from Beverly Center. The rooms are normal size for 2 people. And next to the hotel is a business that makes fruit arrangements and I bought one for my mother, it was her birthday, and she did not expected that, another cool thing is that […] in the evening they ofer wine and cheesse complimentary :) and the breakfast is just ok, with bread, bagel and fruit, not a really great one but OK, and the best of this hotel is the price per night, I mean for location and friendly staff is really cool price!!!
