Es hat uns sehr gefallen in diesem Designhotel. Für 4 Nächte fehlte uns aber der Balkon resp. ein Fenster zum öffnen. In der Lobby kommt man am Wochenende voll auf seine Kosten - viel Betrieb an der Bar. Am ABend ein bisschen zu dezente Beleuchtung

Great property with an exceptional staff

This hotel is a triumph of style over substance. The room felt like a sensory deprivation chamber, with everything white or stainless steel. The bed was fashionably askew in the middle of the room, but with only one mattress was less comfortable than our guest bed at home. The "pink curtain" control was the ultimate farce: flick a metal switch labelled […] "Pink Curtain" and a (yes, pink) translucent curtain joined a white translucent curtain to partially obscure the glass bathroom area from the sleeping area--a totally useless device. Having to pay for internet access as well at a 5 star hotel is so 20th century. Mehr

Everything you could hope for on a special occasion. Plenty of eclectic touches throughout the hotel and in the rooms themselves keep your stay interesting. Rooms seem entirely made of frosted and/or clear glass that can be exposed/obscured using the MANY curtains that retract at the press of a button - lots of fun! Perhaps not the best choice for prudes […] or those that need genuine privacy in the bathroom each morning though? Overall, a tip top hotel! Mehr

What a fantastic hotel. Will stay here when I return to London without a doubt.

As bright and sunny (even in the rain) the Sanderson Hotel is cool, charming, and hip. But the staff and the rooms are as lovely as can be, even if the vibe in the bar is very very cool. I would definitely stay here again. Close to the theatre and fabulous shopping, you can easily get anywhere from its central location.

Victor in the Purple Bar was an amazing bar tender and host. He quickly made our drinks and was quick to sugest other drinks(some specially made for us). We felt as if we were the only ones in the bar when a few times there wasn't a place to sit. A few dissapointments were the lack of wifi. The amount paid for the room was high. But the reviews warranted […] it. However, the beds were very firm. The cooling system seemed to only cool the window area and the bathroom. The bed area stayed rather warm. Everytime we adjusted the cooling, housekeeping would change it. Also the shades were broken by housekeeping and light then came in. One blind was broken but later repaired. Paying for internet is not reasonable when staying at a place such as the Sanderson. The business was ok. Nice that Apple products are used. However the computers need maintanence as they were terribly slow. Sometimes taking five minutes to load a webpage. Service in The Long Bar seemed rushed and impersonal. Although there were some unpleasant things with our stay. We would be willing to give the Sanderson another shot. The location is superb and the hotel is genuinely nice and unique. We originally wanted to stay in a suite, but given the first time experiece we are rather hesitant. Mehr

everything was good until i ask the concierge desk to help me with shipping some box. before i left hotel for a day, i asked them specifically to ship them that day and give me tracking info. but when i got back to my room, the box was still sitting at my desk. when i asked concierge desk what happened, they told me no one told them to pick it up from […] the room and send it out. i found it very irresponsible for just asking they didnt know when i made it Very clear with front desk. other than that, bartenders makes Great cocktails and got complementary update room... it was Great! Great design, bar, mostly good staff ... but not enough of them! Would go back but it is pretty lumpy pricing

Stylish elegant hotel in great central location. Outdoor area for eating and drinking was very relaxing. Quirky design features in the public areas and bedroom made our stay an experience rather than just a place to stay.

Very trendy hotel. Very fun atmostphere for new money and young celebs to try to be seen paying double local price for drinks. Lovely contemporary rooms but some details overlooked. (toilet paper like sandpaper, staff argued with us when they delivered cups but forgot coffee & tea, room service walked in without knocking while we napped) Very cool hotel […] with an excellent location but service did not live up to price range. I loved the all glass bathroom, other may want more privacy. I enjoyed the huge bar which is very crowded with beautiful people on the weekends, its almost like a night club but they have another quieter bar. Bellman/service very attentive. Very nicely equipped exercise room and a full service spa which looked nice but I didn't use it. Location is good […] just a block above the major shopping district of Oxford Street, the busy bars of Soho and 5 minutes walk to 2 Underground stations. Only a block or so away is Charlotte street with a number of nice trendy restauarants. Mehr

Great modern architecture including the rooms. Personally I really like the glassed in bath and the automatic red curtain. Great bars and beautiful people at them. Did not try the restaurant but a lovely space. Very nice fully equipped health club, as nice as any I've seen, plus the spa right there (didn't try).

Ultra modern and stylish, but by no means without charm. Our ordinary double room was on the street side but still quiet enough for a good sleep on the comfy bed. The glass/net curtain bathroom arrangement works surprisingly well, and gives an impression of space and light. The TV on a sliding base and turntable was superb. The lobby and lifts were […] bright and cheerful. We didn't eat in the hotel, but had a superb dinner in Fino in Rathbone place and a great breakfast in Lantana in Charlotte Place. After dinner we went to Ronnie Scotts (all within walking distance) and when we got back to the hotel the long bar was still in full swing, so we stayed there until it closed about 1.30, though the hotel purple bar was still going strong! A great night in town, and all a few yards away from Oxford Street! Mehr

Meget bra hotell, men ikke vært den høye prisen da hotellet begynner å bli noen år.

Fick i det stora hela ett bra bemotande, de unga tjejerna i receptionen var iofs. valdigt korthuggna och tykna i vissa saker. De hade fel priser utsatta pa vissa minibarsaker sa att jag som gast sedan blev anklagad for att ljuga vid utcheckning, jag behovde inte bevisa att jag hade ratt (vilket vid senare koll visade att jag hade det) utan de var "snall" […] mot mig som gast och lat mig ha ratt....lagom kul! Rent designmassigt ar hotellet helt underbart! Hog standard pa drinkar/mat/roomservice och relaxavdelningen ar underbar! Det ar fest varje dag med hog musik pa lobby-vaningen dar alla barer finns, rakna inte med en middag i lugn och ro pa hotellet. Annars trevligt barhang med manga pampar. Helt vardelost att det inte ingar internet i den hoga rumskostnaden utan det betalar man extra for, och det tio ggr mer an vad de lokala cafeerna tar. Vad som ytterligare var ett stort minus var att det inte ingick nagon frukost, inte ens kontinental sadan. Jag har bott pa manga fina hotell och vanligtvis brukar man ju anda ha tillgang till vattenkokare/kaffe pa rummet, inte heller det fanns. Laget ar jattebra, i en tyst sidogrand till oxfordstreet, gangavstand till hela soho/west end/british museum. Mehr

매우 세련된 인테리어와 디자인을 자랑하는 호텔로서 유니크한 객실내부등이 맘에 들고..특히 서비스도 마음에 든다. 침대가 좀 불편했는데..조금 쿠션이 많았기에 그랬던 거 같고, 아침식사를 객실에서 하는데 룸서비스의 서비스가 좋았다. 호텔숙박비에 비해서는 조금 덜 만족스러웠다. 후론트 직원이 좀 더 친절했으면 좋겠다.

Oppholdet startet med at vi ikke fant kontanter til å betale taxisjåføren ved ankomst på hotellet klokken 01 på natten. En diskret dørvakt ilte til og gjorde opp regningen før vi fikk sukk for oss - og tok oss med inn i resepsjonen. Hotellet har en lekker lobby - og rommene er store og luftige. Plasseringen rett nord for Soho - like ved Oxford Street […] er fin både for spaserturer, shopping og utflukter. Personalet var imøtekommende og hyggelige. Telys var tent i rommet hver kveld - og sengen gjort klar. Vi hadde håpet på at det var mulig å ta badstu og slappe av i felles områdene til SPAet - men det var ikke mulig. I steden fant vi en annen Spa & Massage i nærheten som fungerte kjempefint. Restauranten i hotellet hadde asiatisk mat. Jeg syntes ikke at standarden var opp til det vi hadde håpet- og hva prensen tilsa. - Litt vel mye samlebånd og lite originalt. Men dette ble i stor grad oppveiet av overstrømmende personale - og en somellier som fant frem vin til oss som var absolutt verd pengene. Ellers så er det jo et hav av restauranter og kafeer i nærområdet i alle prisklasser. Etter middag var den store baren i lobbyområdet full av mennesker. Det er også et overdekket uteområde ved baren - hvor musikken ikke er så påtrengende. Absolutt et hotell som kan anbefales. Mehr

Veldig trendy hotell med hyggelig betjening. Restaurant og bar er "hot" innen utelivet i London. Rom: fine, men ingen utsikt og må man må like glass/begrenset skille (inkl. lyd) mellom bad og soverommet...
