"I'd stay here again"
This hotel is just a few blocks from Termini station. Termini station area is a seedy, run-down and full of immigrants, but convenient for the public transportation or even walking to other more inviting areas of Rome. As for the hotel, the room was clean, the bathroom well equipped. The room was small but nicely decorated. The price was acceptable. […] I would stay here again. Arrived late. Was given a first floor room on the busy road. Walked in and straight back out again requesting a room to the rear of the hotel. No improvement on a rear room as still extremely noisy. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Courtyard a pleasing advantage. Close to Roma Termimi so very easy to find on arrival. "Kiwis on tour"
We arrived via train into Rome and also left via train,so the location of this hotel to the train station was absolutely ideal! We only stayed for 2 nights and the purpose of our hotel was purely for sleeping, showering and safe storage of our luggage whilst we visited the sights. We were a family of four 2 x adults and two children aged 13 and 8.We […] were in the Standard Quadruple room which was more than adequate for our needs. The Free wifi was also a selling point for us. We did not eat at the Hotel purely because we had no need to . We would not hesitate to stay here again. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Loved the hotel and the location, but disappointed"
We loved the hotel and its location, but were disappointed with the fact that we asked for 4 twin beds and the room had 2 twin beds and 2 very uncomfortable cots instead. "Convenient location, reasonable price"
Convenient location - 5 minute walk to rail station, 20 minute walk to colliseum. We were traveling as a group of 3; a cot was added in a small room making the room impossible to navigate. Air conditioning unit had trouble keeping room cool when temp hit +35. Bathroom a good size. Helpful and friendly staff. Property is very clean and safe.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung
"No air conditioning!"
The hotel is very close to Termini, the main train station, and traveling around from there is convenient because of easy access to the Metro and buses. The room was small but clean; HOWEVER, the air conditioning did not work and during the days we were there with 90+ degree temperatures, staying in the room was miserable. We requested another room […] but were told all were the same! Instead we were provided with a fan. The person who came to our room said that the AC thermostat, which said the room was 16 degrees Celsius (60 in fahrenheit), was clearly wrong but it was working (not sure how it is possible that the unit was working but not reading the temps correctly or cooling the room??), and it would be the same in any other room. We contemplated finding another hotel, but the fan made things just bearable and it would have been too much trouble with two kids to move for just the three nights we were there. We were therefore extremely disappointed with both the room and the response of the staff. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
"Great place to stay in Rome"
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights in June. The service was great as the front desk staff were always helpful and even called our tour operator when they were late and printed tickets for us - service that we didn't find at many other hotels throughout our Europe trip. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the Termini for trains or taxis […] and less than 10 euros taxi ride to Piazza Venezia and the Roman Forum. There are also some great pizzerias and trattorias (especially Mamma Angela's) just around the corner and a laundromat where you can drop your washing off before dinner and pick it up after - this was great considering the prices of the laundry service in the hotels. Oh, they do tell you they have onsite parking however it was around the corner in a tiny garage with a few dodgy looking men so we were a bit apprehensive about leaving the hire car keys with them (they move the cars around when people leave) but it was all fine when we checked out. Overall this was a great, central place to stay in Rome, minus the noise of a city hotel, and we would definitely stay here again. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung
"OK for a 2-3 day stay in Rome"
We are a family of four and we tried to book rooms for four during this ten day trip through Italy. Unfortunately, for most hotels that means a slightly larger room for two where two extra beds are added. That wouldn't be a problem except a family of four comes with luggage for four and the room is already full with beds. This hotel is no exception, […] with basically no room left for walking in the room (and we only had carry on luggage). Otherwise the room is relatively clean, well placed near the train station, with reasonably friendly and knowledgeable staff, free WiFi. No free breakfast but that is no problem because there are a lot of decently priced restaurants nearby. AC is working fine even through a heat wave. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

The Royal Court Hotel is a nice hotel to base out of while visiting Rome. Clean, quiet side street in the Termini area. This is the safer side of the station. Staff was friendly and helpful. "Well Priced & Convenient Hotel in Rome"
Royal Court hotel was a nice hotel close to the main train station (Termini). Staying close to the Termini was good because it allowed us easy access to the rest of the city. The accommodation seemed very well priced. We had 4 people in our group (2 couples) and were accommodated in a quad room with two large beds. Both beds were quite comfortable. […] The room itself for 4 adults all with large suitcases was a little cramped, but we managed. The bathroom was also very spacious and had a bath as well as a shower. Breakfast seemed a little expensive at E15 per person, so we opted to eat at one of the restaurants closeby who had great breakfasts starting at only E8 per person. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and friendly, even recommending some nice restaurants to eat at. I would definitely consider staying at the Royal Court Hotel again, should I ever return to Rome. MehrAuthentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"great middle of the road stay"
I liked the location of our hotel room (only two blocks from Termini) but she shows her age. I am sure there are better and worse places to stay in Roma, but if you are ok with the older/more central […] spots you might like the Royal Court (especially if you get a great rate!) The rooms are small, so they feel a bit crowded at times. Room looked nice, but it was mostly superficial. Windows were very old. One was broken and wouldn't close completely. The biggest star about this hotel was it's proximity to the Roma Termini train station, and ease of finding it. "Convenient but lacking a tourist needs"
This is a very convenient hotel near the main station in Rome, it takes about 5 minutes to walk. It’s also handy for the Bus & Metro terminals and at about €4 you can travel all day around this wonderful City. The rooms are comfortable and cater for basic needs. Downside, the Breakfasts are additional and expensive, not surprising but no tea or coffee […] facilities and they do not provide evening meals, however there are many restaurants nearby. Don’t be surprised that there is an additional City Tourist Tax which has to be paid in cash. All round, fair value for such a central location. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"Small rooms but clean, close to station"
Wife and I need a room in Rome for 1 night in Rome. We chose it for proximity to the main Train station. We booked a standard double room but room was really tight for two people. There was only room to open one suitcase and we had to push the table with TV on it aside to make room for the 2nd one. The 'double' bed was also smallest double bed compared […] to all the other hotels we stayed at throughout Italy. Our room was on the first floor so we had access to the little terrace/garden which was nice to chill in after a long day out in Rome. The bathroom clean with a good shower. The location was great b/c the station was so close which made getting around Rome a breeze. I cant recommend this hotel because I question their honesty and trustworthiness. I know I left a pair of shorts in the bathroom behind the door and I called them within 2-3 hours of leaving the hotel from the airport asking them to mail it out to me and they claimed that there was nothing left in the room. I know its my fault for leaving it there in the first place, but this was very annoying to hear. MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

Would return in a heartbeat. Not far from Termini, especially as we were dragging suitcase on wheels. Nice restaurants in area, an ok adequate breakfast in hotel was very handy.
