"Super Hotel"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 14. Jan. 2013Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen, allein schon wegen der idealen Lage. Man ist in wenigen Geh-minuten an der Metro Station Place de armes und hat von dort aus alle Möglichkeiten die Sehenswürdigkeiten Montreals zu erreichen. Wenige Geh-Minuten bis zu Notre Dame.Unser Zimmer wurde immer sehr sauber gehalten. Wir haben grundsätzlich sehr gut geschlafen! Das Frühstück war ausreichend und zufriedenstellend, mit frischem Obst, Eiern, Joghurt, Brot, Butter, Marmelade , Käse, Kaffee/Tee etc. Das Personal war stets sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit , wenn man eine Auskunft oder diverse Informationen brauchte. Wir können dieses Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis stimmt auf den Punkt.

"Direkt in der Stadt, alles fußläufig zu erreichen"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 29. Nov. 2012Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Bei der Buchung des Hotels des Arts war uns klar, dass wir kein vier Sterne Hotel erwarten. Aber das Hotel war sehr sauber, das Zimmer gemütlich und der Service freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten Montreal mit dem Hotel als Ausgangspunkt sehr gut zu Fuß erkunden. In der direkten Nähe des Hotels sind einige Bars und Pubs und Restaurants; bis zum historischen Stadtkern von Montreal sind es in gemütlichem Schlenderschritt nur 10 Minuten. Ich kann das Hotel für alle jungen Menschen empfehlen, die eigentlich vorhaben eine Jugendherberge zu buchen. Preisleistung ist hier deutlich besser.

Das Hotel ist so gelegen, dass man von hier gut in die Innenstadt kommt. Entweder zu Fuß oder mit der U-Bahn. Haben das Auto eigentlich die ganze Zeit in der Tiefgarage gelassen (kostenpflichtig - 20 od 25 CAD pro Nacht glaub ich).Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

"My First Visit to Montreal"
The hotel was clean and the rooms were maintained. There are not too many amenities and the restaurant was lacking options and the décor was dated. The bed was very hard and I left, after 3 nights, with back pain. The good part was the staff! They were always willing to help with detailed info, map/Metro locations and even printed out copies of maps […] to reach a museum after our departure. They gave advice as to where to eat, which place to visit first, etc. The hotel is walking distance for several Metro stations as well as anything and everything you may wish to see, go to or visit. It is worth the $ I paid and was far enough for my daughter to sleep at night without having to hear the clubs, but close enough for us to walk to old Montreal, site see, eat and get on the Metro to go any further. "Business Trip"
The lobby was great but not representative of the actual rooms. The rooms are out dated with green style carpet and 80's linens. The best part of the stay was the free WiFi as the nicer hotels charged a premium. Literally 6 blocks or less from downtown. For $87 a night I would stay here again. "Worst hotel experience I've ever had"
I was going on a trip to Montreal for my birthday, and booked 2 rooms at a decent price, pre-paid on hotels.com, for myself and friends. Once I got to the hotel, however, they charged me an extra $100 fee at check-in, and the lady at the front desk was very rude. Worst shower I've ever had in a hotel, very low water pressure with an inconsistent temperature. […] The TV remote didn't work. And, there were no heavy drapes in my room. "Not great, not bad either."
The front desk clerk was cheerful and nice. Check in was easy. The elevators are fast enough and the parking garage had ample room for large vehicles. We went to a hockey game and the Bell Centre was about 2 blocks away. St. Catherine St was also 2 blocks away - several restaurants within the same distance - we ate at the Bar-B-Barn on Guy St, 1 block […] away and that was great. The only thing I was not pleased about was the shower water temp was not nearly hot enough. It was warm at best - so if you don't mind a fairly cold shower, this place is fine. I thought when I got to my room that being opposite the elevator would be a noise issue; it was not. Perhaps the hotel was not full on those 2 nights? The room was comfortable and Le Nouvel is situated on the edge of the downtown core on Rene Levesque Blvd. I walked to McGill University without any issue. "Not to good."
Well.. I had ordered two queens and instead i had a king size bed , a cot and a couch that pulled out into a bed for three people??.. I ordered about 3 or 4 months ago and i was told they had no double queens which i had ordered long before. Very disappointing. "disappointing"
the hotel was generally clean and looked good inside, room was clean as well. the bed was squeeky, pillows was not impressive and was very difficult to sleep comfortably. stayed up most of the night and just when i fell asleep the noise of a child crying was very disturbing. we could hear someone snoring through the walls as well as talking. "Good for business or pleasure travel."
The hotel is convenient for shopping, restaurants and bars. In a street facing room, the street noise could be loud in the night with sirens, car horns etc. There were some areas of the hotel that could use some upgrade but our room on the 8th floor was very comfortable. The price through hotels.com was right for someone either there on business or […] pleasure. The restaurant was ok but nothing special - it was dated. This was our first trip to Montreal and I selected this hotel based on good reviews from Expedia and the options for VIP upgrade. It turned out to be the worst decision I have ever made. Since we wanted 2 queen room, they had no other room types for upgrade, so offered us complimentary water bottle (but only for the first night!) and late check-out […] which we did not actually need. The room wasn't very clean, the linens and pillows were old and awful, the white towels were grey with stains... The TV was old and its remote was not working well... The garage is small and tight parking spots. The hotel needs an uplift as it is dated, from the decor in the restaurant/bar to the hotel room. The hotel room itself was spacious for our family of four and the shower pressure was EXCELLENT! "Good Location with a nice price"
The price is quite nice, the location is good. But the heater in the room was noisy. Though the bed was comfort but I do not like the duvet. Also, when I was booking this hotel, the description for standard queen room is : "In-room conveniences also include work desk with enhanced lighting, and kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, complimentary […] bottled water, and coffeemaker."
