Recently stayed there for 4 nights, would have stayed the whole 7 nights there but decided to stay in a better hotel 1 exit away... The parking fees here is just plain dumb! Thanks God a lot of the construction is done(oct 2011 i stayed here also) i didnt make a mistake of staying in a room facing the pool... Front desk was overall nice however twice […] i asked the front desk to have housekeeping do my room but times i came back to an undone room :( only real complain is paying for parking! The hotel does not need to charge for parking because there are many many hotels around this hotel that offers free parking and better service... I've stayed in a few other hotels 1 exit away which was far better... Mehr

OK, reasonable, not great, value with the room sale. Need a free breakfast buffet and/or a more moderately priced quick breakfast alternative. Else have to go to Tim Horton's a short distance. Could do without parking charge for guests, essentially a hidden charge.

The hotel is great, the staff is absolutely incredible! Just be aware of the fact that the price does not include a parking fee and that the slide in the pictures is only open select hours during the weekend. During the week it does not run. But overall a great hotel!

We stay at the Delta East several times a year. They treat us very well and the hotel is clean well cared for and convenient to where we need to be in Toronto.

When walking in into the hotel for the first time, my friend and u were greeted and welcomed with a friendly smile. They answered all our questions and assisted is with any issues we may have. Overall we had a great time, and a great stay.

Didn't like the fact that i had to pay to park in their parking lot.

Hotel was great, kids loved the pool and the especially the slide. Rooms were comfortable and the location is close to restaurants and a couple malls ... right next to the 401. Friendly staff, very helpful ... quick check-in and check-out. Thanks.

Quiet, clean, comfortable. Friendly staff, calming atmosphere, all the amenities you need to take some time to yourself.

Did not appreciate the parking fee. If you stay at the hotel it should be free.

Room very quiet and clean. Breakfast buffet was great.

Very kid friendly. Meal prices were very high when you have a family. would like to see meals geared to normal family income. Many restaurants in the near vicinity, Wendys, Pizza Hut ect. Wonderful facility for the family.

Recently my husband and I spent a weekend at this hotel to celebrate our anniversary. It was a wonderful experience. It was was so clean, modern and very guest orientated. It was such fun with the large pool, hot tub and wading pool for the children and most of all accomodated adult swimming from 10 to 11 pm. Room service and the food in Whitesides […] was very good. We had a wonderful time and would surely go back again. B&D Mehr

I have to visit Toronto for business and in the past have stayed elsewhere. I am glad I tried the delta as it is much more convient for one thing. The rooms are nice and the staff is extremely friendly and always helpful.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. It was very comfortable, had all amenities that I required and was very clean throughout the entire building. I was very impressed.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be over the Christmas holiday. The grandkids really enjoyed the pool - wish the hotel could have put staff on duty in the afternoon so that the pool slide could have been open instead of waiting until evening. Also it would have been nice to know that their was to be hotel maintenance work […] done shortly after Christmas as the drill noise made it difficult to put small ones down for an afternoon nap. All in all it was a great place for the family to stay over the holiday. Mehr

Stellar staff made our stay very enjoyable. We were welcomed warmly by the front desk and by every employee we encountered throughout our stay. Memorable. We will certainly be back to this location.

The location is not great, you are right off the 401 in Scarberia but the staff was very friendly and the kids played for hours in the pool.

My room was right beside the elevator that was malfunctioning and extremely noisy. It was operating all night and the doors opening and closing kept waking me up. Even during the day there were issues with the elevator i.e. doors not closing properly. Although nobody's fault, the early morning fire alarm did not help. I would have thought that hotel […] staff would have made some gesture to their guests because of the alarm. Mehr

We were attending a party a few blocks away so the location was ideal. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the decor was many years out of date, the rugs were stained, and the bathroom fixtures were old. They did offer free Wi-Fi but we had to pay for parking, which was not listed anywhere on their web site. I'm allergic to dogs […] and I found that all of the hotels in the area are pet friendly, not good for those with allergies. They did upgrade our room to delux and said that animals seldom venture to that floor. Of course this doesn't help me in the common areas like the elevator. Because of the cleanliness of the hotel and the fact that they were able to accommodate my allergy, I'm giving this a thumbs up. Mehr

the whole hotel smelled like paint, varnish and all things related to construction! i felt sick to my stomach the whole time there... the hallways were always dirty!!!!! always!!!! i had to call front desk because housekeeping didnt pick up leftover food and tray from previous customer! just dirty hallways!!! but overall its ok!

The outside of the room was repaired with duct tape and the door had a couple large gouges on the outside. The bathroom mirror was filthy. The widows had black mould on the inside and bird crap all over the outside. For a Delux room this was a disappointment. One evening I went to watch the world cup rugby in the bar they had just sprayed painted the […] restuarant next door with oil based paint and the smell was so strong everyone left the bar. Mehr

We choose the Delta because of the special rate, closeness to the 410 and reputation. We were not disappointed.

Needs better signage in lobby to direct people to correct elevator. Construction, renovation, painting going on... No pool. I would have like to know that there was construction going on before I booked. Should say something on the web site. Also - The web site said parking was 9.00 a day and we were charged 15.00 per day. Front desk person apologized […] that it had not been changed, but we should have been charged what the web site said. You should update the web site more often. Mehr

Aside from the fact that the hotel was under renovations (which is always good, we just we werent there for them) the pool water was cold and the hot tub was in need of repairs, the water was not very hot and only 4 of the 20 jets were working. The room reovations were very well done, restaurants were great and the in-room breakfast was well presented. […] Front desk staff was superb and the ball-rooms are a fantastic place to be fora special occasion. Awful!!! Room was dark and murky, musty, foul smelling. Charged for every convenience including the use of a fridge ( at $15:00 per nightly rate ) that was not provided unless requested. Room that was paid for, was not provided by hotel. Instead my room was downgraded because the premium room was not available. However the hotel did offer to throw in […] the use of the fridge due to the inconvenience. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone of my acquaintances at all. Mehr

Overall the hotel was not bad. I can't complain about the rates For the room. The room service was very expensive 14.00! For a sandwich!! And it took 4 room keys to get only 1 to work, little frustrating after a long day. First time I ever stayed at a hotel that I had to pay for parking! My room was good, little small but clean. No free wifi big bummer. […] But I recommend this hotel just room service will kill your pocket, and don't come back after 10pm or you won't find a parking space on main lot. Mehr

Stayed Sept 2011. Pretty nice hotel. Great front desk service. Rooms were beautiful, but pillows were awful!! LOTS of renovations and construction going on, which wasn't really an issue -- except for being on the 12th floor with barely 1 elevator working. High daily parking charge was RIDICULOUS for the already over-priced three nights we stayed. Likely […] will not return. Mehr

The hotel on Kennedy Rd Scarborough was a good location and the service was very good. However we found it a bit run down in some areas and there were dirty patches on the carpet in the corridor where our room was located

We booked this hotel for its location (between the Toronto Zoo and Ontario Science Center) and its large indoor pool with waterslide. Both worked out well for us and the kids really liked the pool. However, I was not happy with the cleanliness of the room. There were obvious stains on one of the white comforters, additional toothpaste/water stains around […] the sink, black hair on the bathroom floor and no bags for the ice bucket or trash cans. We stayed 2 nights and when the comforter was not changed after the 1st night, we called the front desk and someone came and replaced it right away. The interior of our room was nice and in good condition (we even had a huge brand new flat-screen TV), but the maid service seemed sloppy. The other reason why I do not recommend this hotel is the totally unjustified parking fee of $15/night, which you cannot escape unless you tell them you came by train or taxi and then park elsewhere (risking to get a parking ticket). This hotel is not downtown were parking is sparse; they have multiple lots and plenty of spaces. They simply use their parking policy to make some extra bucks. Mehr

We enjoyed our summer get-away at the Delta Toronto East. While the hotel was comfortable, clean and conveniently located....the exceptional staff made the vacation perfect! We highly recommend the breakfast buffet and dinner in the Whitesides Terrace Grille (again the staff were amazing). For those who enjoy Japanese cuisine should plan a trek up […] to the 16th floor Sagano restaurant...we especially enjoyed the Green Tea ice cream. If you are traveling with kids, they will certainly enjoy spending hours in the pool and slides. Will we consider visiting the Delta Toronto East again? Absolutely!! Mehr

if you have a child, good water slide pool, still need super vision but its good.
