Ein kleines Hotel, das sehr verkehrsgünstig gelegen ist, leider kann man deshalb, wenn das Zimmer zur Straßenseite orientiert ist, nicht bei offenem Fenster schlafen. Das Zimmer war relativ klein aber brauchbar eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist nicht sehr empfehlenswert - jedenfalls für jemand, der gerne ausgiebig frühstückt, aber immer noch besser als […] in den umliegenden Bistros. Loved the location but the hotel needs a facelift. The staff was courteous and professional. I loved the front desk attendant upon check in (English speaking, attrractive and professional). She made up for the the extra extra small room (which is expected) and old decor.

Hotel was nice, well-maintained, and had an elevator. It kind of lacked personality, and the area was very commercial - not ideal for a touristy trip - if conveniently near a major Metro stop. I have never been in a worse hotel. The room was really a closet more than a room we had to hoop over the beds or the suitcases.The location was good the elevator was extremely small It is really not a bargain at all!!

Hotel was ok. Free wifi kept going away which was frustrating. Asked twice to not have room service and they cleaned the room anyway. Lots of restaurants in the area and metro was right outside hotel.

Good, nice little hotel, unless you are into the often lavish and large rooms you could potentially get for this kind of money in the U.S. The key thing that I ABSOLUTELY recommend this hotel for, is its fantastic location: Montparnasse is within 15 minutes from the main downtown attractions (via subway), and is a lively neighborhood filled with classic […] French cafes and movie theatres. You can enjoy some good wine (not extravangantly marked up), and the Montparnasse subway/train hub does bring into the area just a good amount of nice folks i.e., about 20% of the massive crowds you'll need to brave through the Champs Elyssees. Another thing: By just trying to communicate in my super-limited French first, all the many French folks I met try their best to communicate with me in English or in any way we could. This hotel is in an excellent position with minimal metro stops to all the main Parisian attractions. There is a Metro station right outside the hotel. After a couple of less than satiusfactory meals in the Latin Quarter (which is usually reputed to be very good), we eventually found that one of the best places to eat was the bistro at the hotel entrance […] (on the left as you face the hotel). We stayed here for 4 nights. The staff was friendly and spoke English very well. Room was a bit small but standard for Paris. It was very clean. The location is convenient with lots of train lines, stations, cafes, restaurants, etc in the area. I would stay there again.

The absolute best thing about this hotel is the location. The Montparnasse-Bienvenue metro stop is directly in front of the hotel and it has four major lines allowing you to get to the majority Paris without ever having to change lines. There are some great restaurants in the area as well including Cafe Vavin and Le Parc aux Cerfs. They also let us […] check in at 10:30 in the morning instead of waiting around to the normal check-in time. I read a few complaints about the noise at this hotel. I am not sure if the hotel has done this since those reviews were written, but I can say that in our room they had installed double-paned laminated glass windows with great seals. I am an Acoustical Consultant and pretty sensitive to sound and we had absolutely no problems once the windows were closed even though that area of Montparnasse is very busy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast at the hotel because there was a place just across the street that we went to for breakfast every morning. Overall it was an absolutely wonderful experience and if we go back to Paris I could see us booking this hotel again. Mehr

The room is clean, but very small. It was very hard to find a place to open my suitcase. And we could hear the noise by metro at night and morning even though my room was at the 5th floor. It was not so laud, but could be annoying for others at lower floors.

This is a nice little hotel located in a busy area. The metro station is just across the street and there are cute cafes on both sides of the hotel. Nice hotel in a great spot for shopping, transport, and access. We had two rooms there that were both very nice, but quite small. Breakfast was not included and was expensive at 12 euro pp, especially when there was so much choice literally at the front door. The staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel had an okay room but you are at a major traffic intersection. If your room is on a low floor you have traffic noise, cafe noise and also metro noise which runs underneath. Also, while others liked the view, I didn't find the Montparnasse convention center desirable. Only good thing I can say about this hotel is that it is easy to find. Just steps away from the metro stop. As to value, it leaves a lot wanting. Internet did not work and service was no help. Did not try breakfast as there were several shops outside. Would choose a diferent hotel next time.

I've stayed in many European hotels and for some reason our room here rubbed me the wrong way. The staff was very helpful and the hotel itself was lovely, but we had a(n unusually) small room at the back of the hotel with an awkward layout and dingy furnishing. This hotel was so cute and charming. The staff was friendly and it really felt like a home away from home. It had the most comfortable beds I have ever felt in a hotel to date. On the 8-th of May I asked the man who was on duty at the reception to call a taxi for me for the next morning 8 a.m. It was extremely important because my daughter he'd audition at Opera de la Danse at 9 a.m. The next day we came downstairs at 7:50. At 8:00 the taxi didn't come. We were waiting... At 8:10 the taxi still wasn't there and I began to […] worry-the traffic in the morning in Paris in not easy. I asked the receptionist what happened to our taxi he said that he called it at 8:0 and that means that it would come at 8:10! BUT I ASKED THE NIGHT BEFORE TGAT WE NEED IT AT 8 SHARP! There are many cute cafes in the area, and the smaller Lafayette Galleries (shopping centre) is across the street. Very good location to Metro, Cafe and Bistros. Room was very clean, large bathroom, strong water pressure in shower. Room slightly small but not a problem for me. Refridgerator in room if needed. Even though I could not check in until 2:00pm, they let me leave my bags at the hotel until late afternoon when I returned and checked into my room.

I had a second floor room facing the square. The bright lights of the advertising boards all around the place, the noise from the late revellers in the cafes downstairs, the rumbling of the metro going into the station located underneath the hotel and the fact that the room abutted the elevator shaft made it impossible to sleep. the location is great; […] the neighborhood is great and dynamic but lower rooms probably suffer from the same noisy problem that i encountered. i do not know about higher floors. Just returned from a trip to Paris and stayed at Edouard VI for four nights. The staff was extremely nice and friendly, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size with updated ammenities. The only exception is the hair dryer - our broke and when we called the front desk they replaced our existing hair dryer with another broken one. Annoying […] but not the worst. Most of the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was great, better than we expected. The hotel was very convenient, a couple steps out the front to the Metro and within walking distance to almost any attraction. Also plenty of restaurants and bars near the hotel.

The room is very small but clean and comfortable - bathroom is nice. one problem is that sometimes you can hear the Metro, but it is not that bad. the location is prime and just near the metro. hotel staff are nice and helpfull. free wi-fi. all in all for the price w paid i am more then satisfied.
