Als Vorübernachtung für eine Kreuzfahrt völlig o.K. zumal das Hotel den kostenlosen Busshuttle stellt. Falls man zu Fuß Richtung Las Olaz Blv. geht, sollte man schon darauf achten, wer in der Umgebung rumläuft ( im Dunkeln besser mit dem Taxi fahren), da einige Obdachlose rumhängen.Aber das ist ja in Deutschland auch nicht anders. Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse o. K.

In dieser Preiskategorie sicher eines der besten Hotels. Saubere und moderne Zimmer. Gutes Frühstück, sehr nettes Personal. Einzig negativ ist die Poolanlage. Mobiliar verbraucht und lädt nicht zum planschen ein. Pool ist auch sehr klein. Habe keine Gäste gesehen die sich dort aufgehalten haben. Aber ansonst sehr zu empfehlen da in kurzer entfernung(3min. Fußweg) Supermärkte, Restaurants und andere Geschäfte vorhanden. Von 6 Hotels in dieser Preisklasse die wir in Florida besuchtt haben, eindeutig das beste Hotel.

Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Allerdings war die Klimaanlage sehr kalt eingestellt.Man hat sofort gefroren wenn man das Zimmer verlassen hat. Ansonsten schöne grosse Zimmer mit Wohn - und Schlafbereich. Sehr gute Lage direkt am Strand und auch der Oceandrive ist nur 3 Automin. entfernt. In der direkten Umgebung wird gerade ein Hotel komplett saniert. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Wish: Dieses preisgekrönte Restaurant bietet amerikanische Küche mit asiatischen Einflüssen. Hier waren schon Mick Jagger, Susan Sarandon und Madonna zu Gast. Das Abendessen wird in einem romantischen Garten mit einem Brunnen, üppiger Bepflanzung und Tischen mit Sonnenschirmen serviert. Innen befindet sich eine farbenfrohe Bar in persischem Stil. In der Bar werden die hohen Tische und schmalen Stühle von Merona-Glaslampen in Blau und Purpur beleuchtet. So genannte "elektronische" Cocktails leuchten mit Neon-Eiswürfeln. In der Lobby werden im sonnigen Inner Garden Frühstück und Mittagessen angeboten. Täglich Frühstück und Mittagessen im Wish. Dienstags bis sonntags gibt es Abendessen.
Poolbar: Die Poolbar befindet sich auf der obersten Terrasse. Hier werden von morgens bis nachts Getränke und Speisen aus dem Wish angeboten.
Das Collins Avenue zählt zu den wenigen South Beach-Hotels, die über einen Dach-Pool mit freiem Blick auf den Ozean verfügen. Die gestreifte Sonnenterrasse ist relativ klein, und der in der Form des typischen Smaragdschliffs angelegte Pool misst etwa 3,5 × 10,5 Meter. An der Pool-Bar werden Gerichte aus dem Wish serviert, und in den Cabañas werden Massagen angeboten. An einem Ende des Pools befinden sich Düsen, wodurch er praktisch zu einem Whirlpool wird.
Neben dem Poolbereich befindet sich ein kleines Fitnesscenter mit Meeresblick. Auf einer kleineren Terrasse finden am Samstagmorgen Yogakurse statt. Änderungen vorbehalten.
Einen Block vom Hotel of South Beach entfernt liegt Lummus Park und der Strand, an dem zwei Liegestühle und ein Sonnenschirm für zwei Gäste pro Zimmer bereitgestellt werden. Die Hotelmitarbeiter sind den Gästen gern beim Mieten von Wassersportausrüstung behilflich.
Im Flamingo Park befinden sich Tennisplätze und ein öffentlicher Pool. Windsurfern empfiehlt sich der Hobie Beach und Golfern der nördlich gelegene Bayshore Golf Course. Auf Watson Island werden "Flightseeing"-Touren per Hubschrauber oder Flugzeug angeboten.

Hervorragende Lage ein Block vom Ocean Drive und dem wunderbaren Strand entfernt. Äußerst freundlicher Service. Die Standardzimmer sind klein aber sehr zweckmäßig und nett im Art Deco Stil eingerichtet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Lovely decor, good location and very nice staff. Miguel told us about Espanola Way which was a really nice place for dinner--great atmosphere--far better than Lincoln Road or beach strip.

What an amazing place to stay, helped by the fact that we were upgraded to a suite. As soon as we walked through the door the staff were friendly and gave us a lot of information about what they had to offer. Our room was just off Ocean Drive across the road from a busy club but this did not have any negative impact as the windows kept all the noise […] out with the exception of the bin trucks in the morning. The room was very comfortable and was always cleaned everytime we were out, fresh towels every day and the fresh fruit on arrival is a nice touch as all we ate was junk food on our trip out. I have to admit this is has been a exceptional experience. The free wifi and beach loungers are a big bonus too and only a short walk from the hotel. Mehr
we arrived at the hotel early because we just finished our cruise. Our room was not ready but we were allowed to go to the rooftop pool and order drinks and lunch and wait until our room was ready. "Great location and staff."
We stayed for 2 days and were pleased with the location and condition of the hotel The rooms are small but efficient and comfortable. The rooftop pool was great. We self-parked our car at a garage one block away. The staff were very helpful. Where the action is was only one block away but the noise was negligible.

"Perfect spot for South Beach"
Loved our few days in Miami. Breakfast by the rooftop pool was wonderful. Hotel was well-placed for all of South Beach's attractions. Concierge was very helpful with great local knowledge. One downer was that we were charged for the jellybeans left in the room - it wasn't clear they were chargeable, we thought they were complimentary.

Very well located hotel, one block from Ocean Drive, in the Art Deco district and Miami Beach shopping district. All staff very friendly and service very good. Noise is no problem at all, because you're a block away from Ocean Drive. Free use of towels and sun loungers on the beach was most welcome. Bars and restaurants at Espanola Way and Lincoln Road […] represent better value than Ocean Drive and are a short taxi ride or 20 minute walk away Wi-Fi only worked intermittently in room, but overall would highly recommend this hotel Mehr

Our hotel stay was great. The staff were helpful and friendly and the location was perfect. The hotel itself is older, but I think that adds to the character. The rooms are up to date and eclectic. It wasn't spotless clean, but it was by no means bad. Overall, I was very happy with my stay here!

My sister married on the roof deck last year and we came back for vacation for Christmas. The hotel room was great #309 except there is some continual buzz sound in the walls. The pool deck is beautiful and the staff is great. This is the best art deco experience we have had in Miami.

Stayed here during a trip to Miami to see an old friend. We arrived mid afternoon only to find that our room wasn't ready - the staff were apologetic and offered us free drinks which was OK, but not a good start. The room itself overlooked Collins Ave and the overall impression of the room was at best adequate; my wife described it as grotty. We […] were only here for one night, so it wasn't too bad - if we had planned to stay longer, I think we might have been seeking an alternative. even for a couple the room was small, almost like a cabin on cruise ship, the location on south beach was great though and the lobby and roof top deck and pool were awesome. I'd stay there again if i had a bigger room or the room i had was cheaper.

We were looking forward to our second visit to the Hotel - first time we loved it. Location is ideal, rooftop bar amazing. This time around? The hotel is looking rather run down and tired - our room needed paint, new carpet and an update in terms of decor. Staff service was fine, (very pleasant and eager to assist) however I think they were understaffed. […] The hotel restaurant is closed, you can order breakfast and room service, but the restaurant at the front of the hotel is closed off. Great hotel! The staff was very nice, especially the concierge John. He's incredibly helpful and sweet! Also, the restaurant is amazing. Only thing that bothered me was housekeeping coming so many times, I don't know why they couldn't complete everything at once.

"Right in the middle of everything"
The staff was friendly. It was solo weekend trip. The staff made good recommendations on local spots. Great location near all the SoBe spots. My favorite was the Saturday morning Yoga in front of the rooftop pool overlooking the ocean. It looks just like the pics. Having the beach chair was great also. I'll will definitely stay there again.

The staff were as friendly and as helpful as they come. The location is fantastik.Pay for the valet parking,worth the extra few bucks.The elevator was not working.My TV remote was not working.Everything else was fine.

A friend and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at The Hotel of South Beach recently. We arrived in Miami early, around 10am, and surprisingly our room was ready. We spend the day by the pool, which was relaxing and not crowded...plenty of empty cabanas and chairs were available. The front desk and concierge were always helpful and friendly, and check-out was […] effortless. The rooms were nice and had everything we needed. "Right in the heart of Art Deco district"
This is a fantastic hotel to be right in the middle of the art deco district. One block to Ocean drive where all the action happens and across fromt he beach. Lots of restaurants nearby as well as shopping. The staff are very accomodating and pointed me to excellent dining and where to go to get the quality imported rum I wanted to take home for my […] husband. Loved The Hotel and its Art Deco architectural style. We weren't disappointed at all. Very nice staff, loved the bar. The room was spacious, bathroom small. The only complaint is that we could hear foot steps in the room above us, which woke us up.
