delux room is most likely 6 feet by 10 feet! this should have been written at hotels.com. i was very surprised by the size of the room and the bathroom. not recommended for any business person. i couldn't fit in my suitcase in the room.

Despite good location and ok rooms, we had an awful stay here since the staff was disorganized, incompetent and far from service minded! A couple of examples: they had us wait 45 minutes in the lobby for our room after we checked in, repeatedly claiming that the room would be ready in 10 more minutes... We did not get any help with our luggage, or even information about where to find our room. When a cable for internet was missing in the room we had to ask three times and wait for hours before they brought us a new one. Nobody could answer any questions we had; the staff just did not care.

1) Didn't even get an apology from the staff after being locked in the elevator for 30 minutes. 2) Concierge was not very good with knowing the city. 3) Maid unplugged our refrigerator everyday even though we had food and beverages stored in it.

The laundry cuboard would have been more comftable and better value for money than the ''Suprior room'' that we booked. Service not good at all!!! staff rude and very slow

As a London standard, big rooms are not expected but the rooms here are so small they have to be seen to be believed

This Pakistani-run hotel is a shame for the Best Western brand. In my extensive travels, I cannot recall a worse experience. Nothing works there. Room was small and dirty, very cold as the heating didn't work. They brought a large electric heater which took all the remaining space in the room but did not quite get the room warm enough. They agreed to change the room but the new room was underground, with window lower than the street level, very noisy, dirty and small. Internet only by cable and worked very poorly. Stay away from that place. Best Western should kick this place out of its system

The hotel was conveniently located for Paddington and the West End and is very comfortable. Good value for money for New Years Eve

Could not believe the size of this room it was supposed to be a Deluxe Double room - it measured approx 10foot by 12 foot with a small double bed in it and no other free standing furniture as it wouldn't fit anything else in the floorspace. The bathroom was so small you couldn't put your arms outstretched wall to wall - the minute shower cubicle opening is for child like sized people - I couldn't walk into the shower without doing myself some injury because the opening was so small! There was only room for one person at a time in the bathroom and the sleeping room to move around at any one time. I got dressed in the entrance part. Asking the reception if this was the normal size for a deluxe, I was told the superior size was smaller! It was the worst smallest room I have ever stayed in in my life and for two people it was an obsticle course to even move around to get dressed or get into the bed. The room was so small it overheated with the radiator on the lowest setting and we had to put the aircon on (yes in January) which we woke up to dripping with water all over the floor! What should have been a romantic stay was a let down with the size of the brrom cupboard room, definately not worth the money and we won't be back! It's a good location near to Paddington, but so are all the surrounding other hotels.

Location is good, but you can find much better hotel in the area for similar price. As per London standards, the room was small for a double, comfortable is you like basements (I don't, and I hate it). Staff is polite but useless, lots of advertised features aren't there (wireless broadband, movies on demand, bathroom (tiny shower instead). Overall, a place to forget and never go back.

As many of the reviewers have already pointed out, the main flaw of this hotel is the size of its rooms. Our room was advertised as " Superior Double". It would have worked well for a single person, tight for a couple, and definitely insufficient for a couple + 1 infant - our case. On the positive side, I would mention just about about everything else in the hotel: location, service, competitive rate, cleanliness and room amenities. I would defintely go back as a single traveller.

rooms are small, I asked for smoking room, in internet was possibility to book room for smokers, in reality it was no smoking hotel... mayby I could find a smoking apartament in diferent hotel or rent an apartament...

our room was tiny with a suspicious looking stain on the bed the room was right at the top of the hotel and would shake when the lifts were goin up and down which was also quite noisey we were move very promptly but staff did not seem to be able to cope with the level of business they had.

We were extremely dissapointed with the hotel from the moment we checked in and found the room dirty with dirty bedding on the bed made up as if it was ready for a new customer. We requested several items through reception including a room service menu and taxis etc. None of which appeared without asking on several occassions. In fact we are still waiting for the room service menu. This was a very dissapointing stay and one which we will never make again or reccommend to anyone else.

I wanted a comfortable room at a competitive price that was near Hyde Park, Paddington, and the Central Line. I got all three and the room was tiny just like I expected. On the upside, the hotel was surrounded by great little sandwich shops and cafes that made getting a cheap and good bite to eat extremely convenient. Additionally, they had a good number of magazines including Le Monde and the FAZ.

We expected a family suite but when we checked in they gave us two rooms with a full sized bed in each.

I do not recommend this hotel at all. I have never reviewed a hotel before. But had to review this one due to dissatisfaction. The hotel rooms were tiny. A double occupancy room has a tiny double bed (large twin) and very little space. This alone would not be a problem as London hotels are known for being cramped. Our bathroom shower was missing a shower door. Our TV did not work. When we finally did get someone to "fix" the TV after repeated ignored requests. We only got 2 channels and the remote never worked. Our internet access never worked. Requested wake up calls and did not recieve them. The hotel receptionist were not very helpful and more on the rude side. The only bright spot of this hotel were the bellhops and cleaning personnel. This hotel is not worth anywhere near the amount they charge and probably my worst experience in regards to service.

4 star hotel. and everything you would expect from a 4 star, but squeezed into a cupboard.

It took a few attempts, but once I insisted on a better room, the staff moved me to a newly renovated room that was surprisingly nice. The shower was very small as was the rest of the room, but it was clean and quiet, and well appointed.

I booked a deluxe and the first room I got was a rat hole in which I literally could not move around so I had to really shout to get another room which was equally worse. I wonder if this hotel has any rooms which are bigger than a rat hole and the service don't even have to ask that really stupid people who got on my nerves. I'm not exaggerating about this hotel; this one is really one disgusting. I really don't have any other word to explain how bad my experience was in this hotel.

I stayed for 4 nights and was pleased with the stay. Peter the bellhop was excellent and really helped out. The room was small but manageable and had adequate storage. The mattress could have used some improvement but the sheets were clean and bed was nicely made. The room was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. In room internet was a little slow but definitely nice to have. A kettle to very quickly boil water for moring tea was in the room but the maid did not restock the tea and we had to send for it after we ran out. The bathroom was small but we managed with the sink and toilet. However, the shower was excessively small. I have been on small boats with shower cabinets that felt expansive compared to this shower. I counted tiles and it is about 24 inches square so don't drop anything that you can't leave on the shower floor because picking it up is quite a task. What adds insult to injury is the door design that slides open from the corner. This only allows about 12 inches of clear opening to get in while stepping up. It is flat out dangerous to try to squeeze out while and wet stepping down. I am a fit person and there is no way to get into the shower without intimately rubbing both sides of the door. I have no idea how anyone who has a belly or is overweight could possibly get into that shower. The unfrotunate part is that there is enough room to have installed a shower with more space and an adequate opeing to get inside. On that note the heater behind the mirror was a nice feature to keep it clear when the small bathroom quickly steamed up. Overall it's in a good area, reasonable price, and clean. If you can manage the shower it's a fine hotel.

This hotel has been completely remodeled and is lovely. It is convenient to the paddington station, reasonable restaurants etc. The street was rather quiet at night. My only complaint is that the rooms are rather small. I would stay there again if I were alone.

we reserved two rooms each with twin beds. We got one room with twins and one double. our friends that had the other room their expeierience was not good but Hotels .com compensated them one night which was very fair. For me we were stuck in a double bed for the five nights. We have always slept in a King be and that is why we requested twins to have more room. The room itself was okay and would of been fine if we could of had twin beds, but instead we never had a good nights sleep at all.

Good location. Quiet until the construction crew began at about 9:00 A.M. Rooms are small, but I expected them to be that way having been to London many times. The remodel is almost finished and it is looking really good. The staff was accomadating to every request presented them. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well.

double room was two singles, made up as singles and pushed together; mould in the bathroom; stains on the sheets; no bath; very small room (in a separate building to the main hotel, across the road); no internet access available; 2 working channels of TV

I had a bad experience with this place. I arrived to check in only to find my triple which I booked was not available so they had booked me three singles. After asking to at least change to a double and a single, the staff became rude. The room itself was clean. Bed was very uncomfortable. Location isn't bad.

During our stay in Paris there was an early wave of summer like temperatures. We had secured hotels that listed air conditioning. Much to our dismay, some of the properties did not activate air conditioning until later in the year, despite listing A/C as a featured service. The Best Western Paddington lived up to all it's claims and services. Our clerk, Jerry, was very accommodating. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to separate themselves slightly from the ultra tourist areas. This is located in the Latin Quarter. Lots of restaurants and local stores catering to students and travelers.

horrible from the start. took 4 calls to get towels for the bathroom. 4th floor elevator button didnt work. room was small and horrible. black stains in the shower tub. shower didnt work so good. toilet seat was busted. best of all... they charge 40p a minute for local calls from the room. cellphone calls cost over a pound. 15 mins of calls cost me 20 pounds. disgusting, especially when no one can call your room because they get a busy signal when they call the hotel. the staff were useless and the hotel was a dump.

The best thing going for this hotel is location. It's only a five minute walk from Paddington station, which makes it perfect for getting to and from Heathrow, accessing the Tube, and making rail connections to the west and Wales. However, even by London standards the rooms are too pricey for what you get. It is also currently being renovated so don't plan on sleeping in.

at first the staff gave us a very tiny room, but moved us to a larger when we asked. however this room was not completed from the construction upgrades that the hotel was doing. also we asked 3 times to have the tv checked due to not receiving all the hotels listed stations, nothing was done to correct the problem. finally the resturant/bar was in the basement very small and had very limited choices on the menu.

Chambre petite mais fonctionnelle, quartier bien desservi par les transports, et assez animé.

Fine og rene rom. Litt små, men ellers ganske bra. Hyggelig ansatte. Frokosten var meget dyr (14,95 pund hvis man ikke har forhåndsbetalt og 10,95 pund hvis man hadde forhåndsbetalt).

Hotel bien situe, propre ,petit dejeuner copieux. Mais pour un 4 etoiles isolement des fenetres presque inexistant, bruit dans les aerations la nuit.

Rispetto alla media degli hotel di Londra (che spesso hanno anche per i 4 stelle camere molto piccole e strutture non eccezionali) questo è sopra la media. Almeno la single-superior è molto buona in relazione al prezzo. Silenziosa, non enorme ma neanche troppo piccola, pulita e ben rifinita. Ci sono rimasto solo una notte e sono ripartito abbastanza presto, per cui non posso essere sicuro della qualità del servizio.

För mitt andra besök i London kunde jag inte göra annat än att boka samma hotell. Det är så otroligt lätt att hitta fram dit, gång avstånd till Oxford street. Lugnt och skönt område med en massa små cafén, pubar o restauranger i närheten av hotellet. Om ni bokar det billigaste rummet så hamnar ni förmodligen i källaren, vilket funkade helt fint för mig första gången jag var där. Ett prisvärt 4 stjärnigt boende.

Det er simpelt hen for dårlig. Jeg skulle ha et eneværelse deluxe. Det var i et kjellerrom på den annen site av gaten. Det var kalt. Det var kalt bad. Men det værste var at det nr. 2 dag ingen varm vann var i det hele tatt. Man kunne ikke dusje. og håndvasken var av ministørrelse. Jeg harklaget men intet hørt. Sengen var god.

Vi fik et tre sengs værelse nede i kælderen i bygningen lige overfor selve hotellet. Det var bestemt ikke pengene værd.

Et rimelig og fint hotell for langweekend! Rene rom og bra service. Hyggelig betjening! Ligger i gangavstand til Paddington station.

Vi bestilte tvillingsenger, men fikk dobbeltseng. De lovet oss dermed tvillingsenger fra den andre natten, men glemte å ordne det. Vi ba om en ekstra dyne fordi rommet kun hadde en dobbeldyne, men måtte ringe to ganger før noen omsider kom. Betjeningen kommuniserte dårlig med hverandre, og ville helst ikke brys. Vi fikk imidlertid en fin suite...

Alt fungerte helt greit. Frokost god, men litt "shabby" spisesal. Tilnærmet ingen informasjonsfoldere i resepsjonen - det var dumt.

Vi bytte rum tre gånger, första rummet var extra sängen alldeles för liten, andra rummet kryllade av myror, mögel i duschen samt att det blev en vattenläcka från våningen ovanför rakt ner i rummets elcentral, tredje gången vi bytte rum fick vi ett rum överst i hotellet samt ett rum i hotellets källare. Denna gång var det bara lite myror i källarrummet. Vi kan inte rekommendera detta hotell. Mvh Petra och Mats
