Einzig die sehr zentrale Lage am Rande der zentralen Amüsierstraßen des French Quarter sollten Besucher überdenken, die besonderen Wert auf eine ruhige Umgebung legen (innerhalb des Hotels ist hiervon allerdings nichts zu spüren).

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 24. Okt. 2012Das Hotel hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im Frenchquarter sind gut zufuß zu erreichen und der Innenhof mit Pool bietet eine kleine grüne Oase zum Ausruhen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und die Zimmer sehr ordentlich.

The room itself was ok, but the hotel didn't meet the quality of other Sleep Inns I've stayed at. I had to run some laundry and was disappointed to find the laundry was on a smoking floor. I was very impressed with this hotel. I booked it sight unseen for my trip to New Orleans. This was during the Sugar Bowl week, so NOLA hotels were sold out or 100s of dollars per night. This Sleep In was only about 20 minutes from the CBD, it is located right off of the highway, was clean, well-maintained, friendly, and had adequate parking. it was […] very convenient to get to and from the CBD of NOLA, and was quiet during my stay. My only criticism was that my room was too cold -- and that's a simple solution (simply turn up the temperature setting on the air conditioner). We enjoyed a full breakfast every morning (hard boiled eggs, yogurt, bagels, hot waffles, coffee, fresh fruit). It adds to the overall value of the hotel stay. "Price is right for easy access to New Orleans"
We recently stayed at Sleep Inn due to plumbing problems at our house. The hotel is in a very convenient location for jumping on the interstate to New Orleans. If you are coming to Jazz Fest and are on a budget this will work. The beds are very comfortable, the shower huge with plenty of hot water and good pressure. The hotel is looking tired, about […] what one would expect for the price. The pool area is very nice. The construction quality is not good - our night stand was attached to the wall with screws not put in a stud. How do we know - it came off the wall during the night. Judging from the glue on the back not for the first time. The bathroom could have used some bleach behind the toilet. The shower door did not close all the way, but was servicable. Our first room smelled very moldy but the Manager was very friendly and moved us to another room. The rooms with two queens do not have a bathtub, only showers, so I had to go to another room to bathe my toddlers each night which was a pain. The hotel was in a great neighborhood and not far from New Orleans. There was no traffic. The hotel staff was very helpful. "Renovations overdue"
The thick reek of mildew and mold drove me to change rooms after the first night, and I'm not allergic or particularly sensitive. While the new room was better, the furnishings and fixtures were obviously cheap and poor quality when they were new, and they haven't stood up well over time. Leaky faucets, peeling, moldy caulking, crooked shower doors […] that won't close, and a window HVAC unit with an attitude were all in contrast to the friendly and helpful front desk clerk, who seemed to never leave her post, day or night, for the three days I spent there.
