Staybridge Suites Airport - Portland - Portland

took the family with me on a 3-day (2-night) business trip to Portland, and was very pleased with everything. Kids (6 & 8) loved the pool, breakfast was nice, complimentary happy hour/heavy hoeur d'erves was great and also made this a really budget-friendly stay. Rooms very clean, loved the suite arrangement, which allowed my wife & I to stay up after […] putting the kids to bed & enjoy a movie/drink. neighborhood is lots of hotels, but the MAX (light rail) is very close (free shuttle) and gets you all around Portland cheaply & quickly. Love having a fridge and kitchen - great for snacks. We needed lots of space to repack after a long trip, so that was great.

Great service and friendly staff. Rooms are large, clean and comfortable.

We stayed for four nights, me, wife, toddler. For the kind of room we got at that price, amazing deal. Very pleased. They had a crib for our toddler, that was good. The crib was a bit small and squeaky, but it was still good. You can hear the planes but it wasn't a big deal. Friendly staff, good breakfast with lots of variety. (breakfast on Saturday […] starts an hour later, be prepared.) Mattress seemed a bit old but still good. I'd write more but I'm in a hurry. We're a family who wanted a hotel room with the living room separate from the bedroom, and we didn't want to spend much but still get a great value. I can recommend it. Mehr

Think they were unhappy about me being a hotels.com customer.. they gave me a crappy room and, even though the listing said one or two beds and hotels.com contacted them to specify a two bed room, they only gave me and my son a one bed room with a pull out... The rooms are only fair and in need of renovation...generally unhappy and won't go back.

Nice place and convenient to airport and freeways but the surrounding area is a maze of other similiar hotels; Staybridge is somewhat hidden behind a Burger King and often difficult to locate in the dark even with a map. Their free breakfast buttet could use a some upgrading as well. But overall, for a business traveler like me, a nicer hotel than most […] of this class. Mehr

Everything was really lovely about this hotel. Rooms were huge and had kitchenettes, very clean, and close to the airport. HOWEVER, the hotel was listed as pet friendly. We have a beautiful, well behaved Akita that travels with us everywhere. We made our reservation and told the folks at hotels.com that we had a large dog. We paid our reservation in […] advance and WHEN WE ARRIVED we were told that a single night for a pet was an additional $75. Mehr

Enjoyed our stay the staff was great. Our suite was just right for us, the space and the mini kitchen. Had a fab time and have already recommended to our friends..

We truly enjoyed our stay and thanks all the staff that were so friendly and attentive to our needs as guests in your suite. It was close to my son,s home, so convenient for us to get to all the places we wanted to visit. Thanks again for making our stay such an enjoyable one.

I enjoyed my stay at the Staybridge Suites. I stayed with my 3 children. The breakfast in the morning was very convenient. The kitchenette allowed us the flexibility to cook in the room and not have to eat out for every meal. The staff was courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to a friend.

We were on our way to camp on the Columbia River Gorge. This hotel suite was clean and comfortable! There was a TV in each room and the kitchen was spotless. Nice touches like popcorn packet in the microwave and coffee/creamer ready to use. The hotel staff was nice and efficient. Our room had recently been painted and smelled so strongly of fresh paint that I had a headache all night. While the new furniture was nice, there was simply too much of it in the "living room." It was like an obstacle course maneuvering around that area. Likewise, the beds were exceptionally close together. We selected this hotel because of its proximity to PDX airport. I didn't even realize it focused on extended-stay guests. Very convenient for families...they offer a kitchen with full cookware, suite configuration, breakfast, dinner AND beer in the lobby...this place is fantastic. The fire alarm went off at 1:00am on 1/1/11 and was not shut off until 1:45. The hotel staff could not shut it off nor the fire department. Little or no sleep caused by this problem and hotel felt they had no responsibility to its guests.

Very comfortable room, reasonably priced, service exceptional, great buffet breakfast included.

Tired and weary we arrived after a long trip from Seattle and Mount St Helens.vin The room type we had selected online was not available. The hotel manager went out of their way to accomadate us and upgraded our room. Our visiting relative had her own bedroom. She had nothing but praise for her stay in the Portland area. Thanks for saving the day!

It was such a wonderful experience after the long trip. Only request that I have is to have more variety to mini mart selection, like frozen meal. We arrived at late hour and did not have reasonable dinner. It was life saver to have microwave soup, but nice to have more selection.

The hotel had everything we needed. a pleasent place to stay

Staybridge was explained by the staff as 'your home away from home.' The common area was very well designed, with a fireplace, guest library with two public computers, and a breadfast nook. The rooms were over-the-top nice. A living room and kitchen, two televisions (in living room and bedroon)--one of our rooms even had two bedrooms and two baths. […] Very clean with attention to detail. It was right down the street from the Airport, so extremely convenient if that's what you are looking for. Gas and restaurants all in the immediate area. I wished there were more of 'these types' of lodgings everywhere. There's only one in Oregon, they said. Mehr
