The hotel has nice, spacious rooms but the doors are not sound-proofed and the hotel guests were noisy. The hotel is well located being a very short walk from the Casino Lac Leamy and a short drive/taxi ride to downtown Ottawa. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are large with gas fireplaces and a comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were […] very clean and well laid out. Unfortunately you can hear every person that talks in the hallway (and there were many during our visit) as well as the guests in the room with joining doors to ours. This made for a poor night's sleep. There is no in-room internet but there is a free terminal in the lobby. If you are coming to this hotel to gamble at the casino all night, it's probably perfect; if you're looking for a restful night's sleep, there are much better hotels nearby in downtown Ottawa. Mehr

The only thing I was not happy about was the fact that the cleaning lady came to do the room too late every day. Therefore we had to be away from the room till about 4 pm. They need to improve their service!

If you are a non-smoker make sure you get a non-smoking room because if you are put into the smoking wing you will regret it. The cigarette smoke is heavy in the air and in the rooms, it's like there is no ventilation in the smoking section of the hotel. The rest of the hotel is nice and the air is fine.

Room was very big with jacuzi, very clean, breakfast was very good and lots of choice, Recommended

I was very impressed with this hotel, when we got there it really stood out how clean it was, at check in, I received a room with a fireplace/jacuzzi tub and breakfast for 2 days which I didnt even know was included, the pool/hottub and gym was extremely clean and we'll taken care, its very easy to get too and within 10 minutes of almost any activity […] you can think of, I look forward to bringing my family back again Mehr

Very comfortable and spacious room for a fairly good price. I surely recommend this hotel. And it's just facing the nice Casino of Lac Leamy.

We were (my wife and I) in this hotel for 3 nigths. The people in there is kind, the attention was nice and the building is good, especially the third floor... quiet and clean. The first night, we felt a strong smell to cigarrette, so my wife called to the reception and they inmediately switch us the room. The rest was good. (breakfast, bed, bath, etc). […] Isn't the best hotel in the zone but for a short trip, it's ok. Mehr

I truly enjoyed staying at the Ramada. I enjoyed mostly the food, the pool but also the warm hospitality of the staff... I had time to relax in my room. Also, I visited the Casino which is walking distance from thre hotel. I had a great time and I will recommend this hotel to my friends even before the Hilton. The price value is worth the stay there […] rather than in a five star overpriced hotel nearby. Ramada all the way! Mehr

Avoir un coffre dans la chambre est rassurant puisque je devais travaillé quelques heures par jour sur le portable. Je n'avais pas à me soucier de l'avoir constamment avec moi...La connection internet est suffisante pour utiliser un téléphone IP sans distortion de voix.

This gorgeous hotel is located across the road from Casino du Lac Leamy and also has a Super C supermarket at it's front doors for all your needs. our room was fantastic, spacious and very clean. The staff were very professional and courteous. I am recommending this hotel to anyone who goes to Gatineau, Quebec or the Ottawa area, including my family […] for an overnight stay. Great service. Glad the breakfast was included, and ot contained a wide array of breakfast items. The rooms were exceptional! Lots of space, coffee machine in the room-wonderful. the selection of tv stations were minimal. That was not impressive. But overall great place to go!

The rooms were very very nice.the staff very helpful and the overall experience was very nice. The management staff was especially helpful and patient

Hotel desk person was extremely accommodating. I would be happy to write her name, but she might object. I thank her for saving my vacation at that point. Montreal was huge disappointment and Canada was overly expensive for my budget.

Am not a casino player ,but the name might be confusing ..there is no casino in this hotel..it is location very close to a real one it is name Lemay Casino when i looked for the reception from my car it looked like iam hitting the wall before i find it.,otherwise the hotel is clean and has large rooms ,when i unlocked the door i almost slammed in the […] wall of the room so i have to open wide to see inside of my room.. Across the street from the Casino. Easy on and off the highway. Close to the Nation's Capital and all the attractions ie: Museums, Parliament, Historic sites and wonderful shopping in the Market of downtown Ottawa.

This hotel is very close to Gatineau Park, with fabulous cross country ski trails. We were there for the Gatineau Loppet, an international ski race. The hotel even had a designated ski waxing area. We felt welcome and comfortable. The beds, linens and pillows were great. The faux fireplaces lender a nice atmosphere. The spa jets in the tub felt great […] free the race. It was very hard to fine the entrance to the hotel. We could see it from Highway 5 but drove around for 15 minutes before we could find our way into their parking lot. It is behind the liquor store and the grocery store but you couldn't get there through the fence. There is also no accommodation for pedestrians in the area. You absolutely have to rent a car to get around. Mehr

The place was nice, very quiet, we had a good time.

lot of noise and parties on the 3rd floor (excecutive) took 3 calls to Front Desk & Securities betweed 12h00 and 3h30 am. No sleep. only got 25$ reduction for the night

Pour le prix, avec le buffet déjeuner et la qualité des installations, on ne peut trouver mieux.

J'avais un souper au casino, donc emplacement idéal, tout était parfait.

Hôtel très bon style. Par contre nous sommes passés nous enregistrer vers 13h on nous a dit de revenir pour 16h et pourtant notre chambre n'était toujours pas prête à 17h..... Chambre très grande, et impressionnante car bien agencée. Par contre la douche fonctionnait tellement mal qu'on avait l'impression de ne pas se laver car pas de débit d'eau c […] orrect. Mehr

Nous avons passé un merveilleux week end . Le déjeuner était inclus et très bien comme brunch. Service impeccable, acceuil très bien et le beau temps était au rendez vous. Tout près du Lac Leamy et tout près du casino. À recommander pour le rapport qualité prix.

Souvent les déjeuners compris dans ce type d'hôtel se résume à quelques muffins sans goût et tranche de pain standard à griller. Nous avons été surpris par la variété offerte au buffet déjeuner, plusieurs fruits, multiples brioches etc. De plus même si nous étions 4 adultes à partager la même chambre, celle-ci et la salle de bain étaient très spacieuse […] et confortable.
