hotel was very outdated. the window had duct tape holding it in place. The bath tub felt as if someone had put sand in the bottom of it. Only stayed one night, and would stay again for the price. Not a bad place, but definently needs some updating.

Very out dated and uncomfortable. Hotel staff pleasant. But happy was only for one night. Will not stay at this hotel again. Will pay a little more for updated and comfortable room bedding and furniture as well as updated television. And shower made it worse. Sorry, but it needs a complete remodel.

I was not happy with my stay at this hotel. When I arrived I wasn't even sure it was a hotel, it looked more like an outlet mall with a subway as almost a part of the hotel. When checking in I waited at least 20 mins and it wasn't busy at all there where 3 people behind the counter one helping and the other to doing what I gathered as nothing. Once […] I was helped they where not very polite and acted as if I where bothering them by asking for a fold out bed. When I reached my room I found that the window not only had no screen but no real locking device. To lock the window there was a piece of metal with a butterfly screw in it just sitting on the window track to keep it from opening. This would not take much force to open if some one wanted to enter the room. Also on the window was a painted smiley face from whom ever painted the building because it was the same color as the the lower half of the hotel. I am positive it would of been noticed by the hotel personal because it was one of the first things I noticed when entering the room and would only take a few minutes to remove if they wished to have it. The parking was also limited if the hotel was busy I do not believe that all guest would have a place to park there vehicles. There are plenty of other hotels around this area and for the price I would of thought it would have had better service and cleaner facilities. Mehr

The hotel is older but well kept. I was pleased with the price & service. Neighborhood was safe. I'd stay here again.

Would not board a dog here. Very dirty, trash under bed, window lock consisted of a piece of board to block opening. Overall extremely unsanitary!!

The hotel is very clean and the staff were the best. Each staff member made sure that we were comfortable and even swimming in pool they made sure it was warm enough and to see if we needed any towels. The hotel needs updated. Feels like you were walking through a dirty basement to get to the room. Carpet was not clean. If you are looking for a comfortable bed, don't stay here. Did not even try the pool, water was cold. Overall, for the price, I would have paid $20.00 more I would have stayed next door at the Candlewood Suites. Plus the front desk […] put charges on my debit card that they would not reverse at the time, causing my account to overdraft. Will not be staying there again. Mehr

The hotel is old and dated. But the staff is friendly, the rooms comfortable enough, and nothing really about which to complain. There are no real amenities, no in-room movies, only about 20 TV stations, basic bathroom stuff, etc... BUT for what I paid, its a decent value.

This hotel was very clean and the desk personnel were very friendly. My granddaughters enjoyed the pool, although it was rather cold! We asked for more towels and received them with a smile. We had a great time.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, making the stay immediately worthwhile. The rates were relatively inexpensive compared to other sites, and the hotel was very accessible near the freeway. The bed was not the most comfortable, and the surrounding area mostly had chain restaurants.

Everything as expected. Biscuits & gravy for breakfast -- yum!

My only complaint would be the hot water. It took about 15 mins to get hot.

Needs a lot of updating.....when I pulled into the lot I thought the place was abandoned...pool was closed, you could only park on one side of the building, and if I had been traveling alone I would not have stayed there by myself

Nothing special here but an okay rate and clean rooms. It's next to the Interstate but not noisy; the free breakfast was mostly cold items but with good coffee. There's a casual, friendly staff; small indoor pool and fitness room, and free wi-fi. If you want low low prices or memorable amenities, keep looking... but it's perfectly acceptable.

We are becoming a fan of this chain. The rooms are moderately priced, they are clean, well furnished and all the amenities you would expect. They also accept small dogs for only $10 extra. Some hotels really gouge you on pet fees!

QUIET CLEAN GOOD VALUE

The mattress felt like it had a rubber pad on it an the room smelle like smoke. The hallway was dingy, smelled bad and very run down. It was not worth the price- if it had been cheaper I wouldn't have cared but for that price you'd expect more!

The hotel common area is extremely worn, dated, dirty & dingy, Rooms are musty, worn & in bad need of remodeling. Staff is helpful & friendly. BB, Ohio

My husband and I stayed at the Quality Inn on E. 21st St. for 2 nights so we could attend the State American Legion & American Legion Auxiliary Conventions. The room was very adequate, the included hot breakfast room was fantastic and the pool was very nice. Our meetings were held at the Marriott East just a 3 or 4 minute walk from this hotel and was […] much cheaper and quieter that our previous stays at the Marriott. Mehr

The hotel was ok. Clean and well kept. We did not like the location but that is our preference. We like to be in walking distance of stores, restaurants, etc.

Indianapolis is a convenient half-way stopping point between my home and my family. Due to bad experiences with other hotels nearby, I took a gamble on Quality Inn and Suites on my last trip. I was pleasantly surprised to find a much nicer and cleaner hotel, for only a few more dollars per night. My room was clean, and more than spacious enough for […] a person travelling alone. If I'd had a spouse and/or kids along, I might have wanted something a little more roomy. The staff was helpful and courteous, even when I rolled in at about 11pm. Hotel facilities inclulded a pool, a small exercise room, a laundry facility and free wireless (which is sometimes missing in hotels at this price point.) I stayed on a Saturday night, and there were a few boisterous teenagers on my wing. But they either quieted down or went to sleep before they became too intrusive. All in all, I found this hotel to be an excellent value for the cost. Nicer accommodations are available, but at a non-trivial jump in price. The next time I have occasion to pass trough the area, this will be the first place I look. Mehr

Requested Non-smoking; got smoking with burns on bedspread. Filthy entryway; garbage by entryway in back; Dirty carpet; A/C cover in room was hanging; ice maker was out of order. Don't stay here. It was the worst Quality Inn I have ever stayed in!

Hotel was conveniently located near highway. We stayed at this hotel as a meer "pit stop" on our journey. The hotel was definitely and older hotel which needed some work. The pictures on the website were not accurate. The breakfast was good. I would recommend the hotel for a "pit stop", but would not recommend for a lengthy stay.

This was the worst motel we ever stayed in. The whole place was dirty and parts were board ed up.and the street was blocked off due to a police situation which I understand is the usual not the unusual. We asked for a king size or 2 doubles but had 1 full. Non smoking was not the policy but we were not told when we booked. Overall, it was really a bad […] situation. Mehr

When I booked online I requested a king bed only to be told when I got there that they were sold out of king rooms, but the lady at the desk apologized and gave me a double room. It was no big deal being that was traveling alone. I requested to be in a room with as few people close to me as possible and without hesitation, that's what I got. Smelled like you were sleeping in a Subway shop, pool was too cold, to enjoy, bathroom door did not close, layers of paint on the walls to try to make it look nicer, 5 t.v. stations, sheets very thin, extra $10 charge for a crib, overpriced for the quality. I booked this hotel last minute to get in to Indy early and avoid a forecasted snow storm. It didn't look too bad in the pictures and I'm definitely not a picky traveler. That said, the hotel was definitely a budget hotel. The lobby has been nicely renovated but the rest of the spaces, including rooms, have been neglected. The carpeting in the room […] was frayed, the bed sagged in the middle, the pillows were pathetic, and a whole chunk of shower tile was falling off the wall. The cable TV offered about 15 channels on old CRT tube TVs with grainy pictures. I didn't sit on the couch because the armrest and seats were dingy from sweat/skin oils/years of use. The floors are creaky and the walls are paper thin. Overall, the place was fine for what I needed--a quick place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. But if I had to do it over again I would spend another $20 and upgrade to one of the nicer hotels nearby. Mehr

I've stayed in 2 star hotels that had 3 star service. This one didn't. There were two light bulbs out in the room. I asked 4 different people on 4 different shifts to replace the bulbs (housekeeper, front desk, manager). They didn't get replaced until the 3rd day of our stay. The cleaning service took the partially used shampoo and conditioner bottles […] from the room on the first day and did not replace them. I used my husbands shampoo and didn't complain to the management, but you'd think the maid would have noticed there were no hotel shampoo or conditioner bottles in the room after the 2nd or 3rd day. There was mold in the grout in the bathroom and the paint was chipping off the door. The blanket was thin and half the size of the bed. The heating system was either too hot or too cold. I chose too cold and wore a sweatshirt to bed. All in all, one of the worst hotel experiences I've had in a while. Mehr

Hotel is clean and in a good location. Free breakfast was outstanding in selection, plus had paper on each table and variety of beverages. Included indoor pool. I would return. I gave a "4" on comfort of my room since a extra blanket was not pre-placed and i need to request water cups/ice tray brought. Decent hotel for a cheap price. A bit dated, but clean and mostly comfortable. The pillows were horrible though!

Me and my friend stayed 2 nights and wasn't really impressed with this hotel. The indoor pool was cold. Guy at front desk said it was high as it could go, which was supposed to be 82 degrees. That was a lie! Bed was uncomfortable.

Good location. We came in for the MotoGP races from Western NY. Stayed with my brother in a 2-double bed room. Mattresses were shot & sounded as if they were from the 60's. 2 stars at best.

We spent the night before my nephew's surgery in this hotel, and chose it for location/price. Although a little "shabby", which is to be expected with age, the room was extremely clean (even the corners under the counter in the bathroom) and pleasant.
