Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut - 400m von der Burg entfernt. Wenn man jedoch das Stadtleben und auch Nachtleben intensiv erleben möchte, kann der tägliche Fußmarsch recht anstrengend werden. Hier empfiehlt sich die Straßenbahn, welche direkt vor dem Hotel hält zu nehmen. In der nahen Umgebung gibt es gute Restaurants. Der Weg zur Karlsbrücke ist sehr […] einfacht zu finden - Dauer ca. 10 Minuten. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, die Zimmer sind komfortabel. WIr haben dieses Hotel für eine Kurzreise nach Prag ausgesucht. Dieses Hotel liegt ruhig in der Nähe der Königsburg, ab vom Trubel der Touristen, aber verkehrstechnisch sehr günstig. Es strahlt im Kleinen den Charm eines alten Grand Hotels aus. Es fehlten nur noch die Liftboys im Livree. Natürlich kann man auch hier noch etwas verbessern - aber wo kann […] man das nicht? Der Teppichboden im Zimmer war verschossen, aber die Betten hatten hervorragende Matratzen. Im Schrank hingen Bademäntel und lagen hygenischverpackte Hausschuhe. JEDEN Tag wurde die Handtücher und die Bettwäsche gewechselt - auch wenn man die Tücher wieder aufgehangen hatte. Uns hat es gefallen und wir würden uns wieder für dieses Hotel entscheiden. Mehr

Enjoyed the stay at the Savoy. Staff was very nice, reception desk staff was fantastic--very nice, helpful.

Very friendly staff, very clean and cozy, close to tram station (its 10 min walk from old town anyway) totally recomented!!!

I very much enjoyed my 3 night stay at the Savoy. The staff were friendly and the morning breakfast was great. Hotel was clean and well appointed (but not outstanding for a 5 star rating). The only draw back to this hotel is the location, which is on the outskirts of town (about a 15 minute walk to the heart of the action at Charles Bridge. Although […] this wasn't a problem to me as I enjoyed the walk and it made you pass some nice streets that you would otherwisw have missed if you were based more central. Also there is an excellent tram service with a stop directly outside the hotel and the number 22 seems to go everywhere in town! Overall a great stay. I will definitley return to Prague which is a beautiful city and also definitely consider the Savoy for the return trip. Mehr

The staff made the hotel, very friendly, very efficient.Nice location, away from the crowds, easy to walk down to the town and with the no 22 tram stop outside the hotel, easy to return up the hill.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Most spoke decent english. Breakfast has a good variety and was good (complimentary). The rest of the food is mediocre at best so go to city center to find the good restaurants. It's walking distance to Prague Castle and the tram stops out front and you can take it to within 3 blocks of city center in 5 minutes. A tram […] comes by every 7 minutes. We received competent, polite service in all areas of the hotel. The buffet breakfast was varied and generous. Our room was quiet and comfortable. We found the Savoy to be located at close walking distance to 2 sites we wanted to visit in Prague. It was also on a tram line that made it easy to return from the Old Town, as well. The overnight front desk staff was not very helpful when I had a question regarding my room. I'm not sure if this was a language barrier or truly a lack in customer service. The day and evening staff were a bit better. Very convenient to tram and sights. Great walking area during the daytime but restaurants and bars closed early on Sunday night. Lovely Hotel, near Castle area. Beware though it is at the top of the hill - great going down but a hard hike back up. However do make use of the tram 22 which stops right outside hotel that makes life a lot easier. Prague is beautiful but we were ripped off at 2 restaurants one cose to hotel and one closer to castle area - sorry dont remember the names. […] the 2nd had no prices advertised but looked "middle of the road" with pictures of their various dishes. BIG MISTAKE! £62 for one course and 2 drinks!! extortianate. Two other occupied tables were also furious the place was in an uproar. There is no doubt the tourists are targeted routinely so be careful. Disgraceful. Thank goodness for lovely hotel nice staff and lovely scenery. Mehr

We stayed at the savoy for a number of days prior to an organised tour. On a previous trip to Prague we were scammed by the taxi driver between the train and our hotel. This time I pre arranged with the Savoy to collect us. We were picked up from the airport by a hotel limo which cost no more than a local taxi fare. I recommend this approach to anyone […] on a trip to Prague NEVER use a cab without getting the hotel, shop or restaurant to call it for you. The hotel is very nice and comfortable, the staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. It is a pleasant change to have such friendly staff in a big hotel. The breakfast is a buffet with everything you could possibly want and wifi is free. The room was lovely and clean when we arrived, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. The only issue we had with it was that during our stay we felt the cleaning of our room was a little lax. beds did not seem to have been made but were pulled up and tidied , the bathroom, although clean, was not as clean as we would have liked as the bath was dirty and not cleaned out daily. But for this I would have given the hotel higher than 4 out of 5 rating Mehr

This hotel is in very good condition inside snd out. large rooms, very clean and the staff were friendly and helpfull. Breakfast was first class with a good selection of hot and cold food to suit all tastes. The hotel is not in the City centre but a pleasent 10 / 15 mins walk down to the Charles Bridge. Our room was very large and luxurious. Staff were very professional. Location was quiet but located close to major sites especially Prague Castle and Charles Bridge. Food at restaurant was great, especially love the dinners. Free breakfast buffet was fine. The hotel is beautiful and was a great find!

I really liked this hotel. The breakfast is great, including very helpfule wait staff. The room was nice, particularly the bathroom(s) which were spacious. I say bathrooms because there is a separate room for the toilet, and the other room has a shower and a tub. When I was booking the hotel, I read some reviews that complained about the location in Prague, but I thought it was a perfect location. It is close to the castle, there are great restaurants close (recommeded by the hotel staff), and a park and monestary very close. The rest of Prague is down the hill, but it was not hard walking back up the hill if you are in reasonable shape. You can also take the tram - We took the tram from the subway/train station upon arrival, and it dropped us off right outside the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Prague. We arrived early to check-in due to our train schedule, and our room wasn't quite ready. The staff were very apologetic, even though it wasn't their fault, and outstandingly friendly. They helped us get opera tickets, and recommended an outstanding restaurant nearby. Our room was quite large, and the quality of fittings was excellent. Lots of light […] through our two large windows. The hotel is within an easy walk of the Prague Castle, and right around the corner from Strahov Monastery. A tram stop is immediately adjacent to the hotel entrance, making the rest of Prague easily accessible. We would DEFINITELY stay here again if we were to visit Prague... and I certainly hope we do! great area for a quiet vacation. it is located very close to the big sights, but at night it is very quiet. the hill is steep and getting a bus pass is recommended. city is clean and felt very safe even at 2am walking around. would definitely go back.

Reception is great. Breakfast was excellent. Service was A1. I will stay there again as it is spacious and close to 'must see' tourist attractions. The Tram stop is 'a step' outside the hotel and you can go to the airport by Tram and bus and it will cost you less that 1/20th of the taxi fare. It was such fun travelling to the airport from outside the […] hotel!! Have you ever had the luxury to consume what is in the mini bar free of charge? The hotel is excellent, staff very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. While the location seems initially a bit daunting it is handy to the castle and once you get used to the tram system, the old toen is easy to get to and from. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Good location, 10 min walk from the hectic stare mesto! Excellent customer service and breakfast! Would definitely stay there again!

Vi hadde en fantastisk opplevelse ved å bo på Golden Tulip Savoy Prague. Veldig hyggelig personale som gjorde alt de kunne for at vi gjestene skulle ha det bra. Veldig rent og pent over alt og kjempefine rom.

Jeg og min sønn bodde på Savoy i forbindelse med en ferietur sommeren 2011. Hotellet ligger flott til litt utenfor sentrum. Stille og rolig. brukte 15 binutter å gå til sentrum. Personaler var veldig imøtekommende og vennlige. Rommet var stort og flott.Seperat bad og toalett. Gode senger. Frokosten var delikat. praha er en flott by, og Savoy er et flott […] hotell. плохой и неудобный паркинг, в ресторане ждали 30 минут когда к нам подойдут, менеджеры отеля улыбаются но ничего не делают что бы гостям было комфортно

Nära sevärdheter Hradzcany St Vitus speedwaybana. Spårvagnslinjen går direkt utanför. Tjänsvillig personal, Stora fina rum. Enda plumpen i protokollet var att "spat" renoverades. Kan varmt rekommendera.

Persoonlijk kom ik al sinds 1970 in Praag gewoonlijk overnachte ik bij vrienden. Nu voor de eerste maal in hotel Savoy, dat is me geweldig bevallen goede service en goede verbinding met openbaar vervoer de trams en bussen stoppen pal voor de deur.

Prima hotel, goeie prijs kwaliteit verhouding, uitstekende service, heerlijk ontbijt. en wie niet bang is voor een wandeling de berg op/ af zit op een mooie locatie vlakbij de St. Vitus kathadraal.

I betragtning af de billeder der på nettet vises af executive rooms, oplevede jeg, at værelse 210, som vi fik tildelt, er et deluxe værelse.Denne oplevelse skyldes, at værelset kun havde en stol med armlæn, skønt vi havde bestilt et executive room for to personer.Der var ganske vist en (vakkelvorn)stol uden armlæn, som person nummer to kunne sidde i, […] men jeg føler mig snydt:Jeg må simpelthen tro,at vi har betalt for executive, men blot fået deluxe. Hotellets fjernsynskanaludvalg er altfor begrænset.Hotellet synes mere interesseret i tysktalende gæster end i engelsktalende. Et femstjernet hotel burde fremlægge et udvalg af aviser på hovedsprogene engelsk,tysk,spansk og fransk. Hotellet burde fremlægge skriftlige informationer om sig selv -fx om reaturanten og dens menu og fx om hvordan man kan skubbe fjernsynsskabets låger ind, således at der kan ses fjernsyn fra andre vinkler en en på 90 grader. Savoy ligger väldigt vackert (men kanske lite väl lugnt) uppe i Hradcany, bara 5-10 minuters promenad från Pragborgen. Spårvagn 22 går precis utanför hotellet och tar dig till borgen, Lillsidan (Mala Strana) och city (Narodni Trida) på nolltid. Själva hotellet är ganska litet men väldigt fint. Det är inte glammigt och pampigt på något sätt, men personalen […] är trevlig, de erbjuder hjälp om du behöver det och man känner sig välkommen. Vårt rum, 403, var fint men ganska enkelt. Det hade vad vi behövde men det var faktiskt lite förvånande att TV:n var nån 25-tums-tjock-tv och ingen stor platt-TV. Det var också lite dumt att man inte kunde öppna fönstret, men luftkonditioneringen funkade bra så det spelade ingen större roll. Badrummet var helt klart rummets tour de force, helt i marmor och med både dusch (med två separat styrda munstycken) och badkar. Mycket fint. När vi efter en promenad kom tillbaka till hotellet vid 17-tiden hade de kört en extra städning på rummet och satt på klassisk musik. Då märkte vi också att det fanns en högtalare i taket i badrummet som var kopplad till samma radiokanaler. De hade också lagt våra slarvigt utslängda saker i fin ordning och gjort allmänt snygg. En kul touch. Minibaren på rummen är helt gratis och fylls på varje dag! Innehåller öl, vin, läsk och vatten. Hotellets eget spa i källaren är fint och även det gratis. Det finns jacuzzi, mycket sköna vilfåtöljer, en liten kallbassäng, bastu och ångbastu. Helt perfekt. Mehr

Ett utmärkt behagligt hotell med mycket vänlig personal och mycket god service.Fina och vackra rum och den bästa middagen åt vi på hotellet, frukosten var också delikat.. spårvagn precis utanför så det var lätt att ta sig till själva centrum. Vi är mycket nöjda.
