Tolles Hotel in der Nähe des Airports. Die Zimmer sind einwandfrei. Das Bad erstklassig. Die eingebaute Küche mit Mikrowelle und riesigem Kühlschrank wollte ich trotz kleinem Shop im Hotel nicht nutzen. Das Hotel liegt wegen der Airportnähe auch in der Mitte vom Nichts. Eine Handvoll Restaurants sind fußläufig erreichbar. Der Service punktete durch die spontane Bereitschaft den kostenlosen Shuttlebus statt zum Flughafen auch zum Rental CAr anzubieten. Die Abwicklung war einwandfrei. Frühstück typisch amerikanisch. Das ginge besser. Ganz bestimmt bei nächster Gelegenheit wieder.

Neben einem 37-Zoll Plasmafernseher sind die Zimmer mit folgenden Angeboten und/oder technischen Geräten ausgestattet: aktuelle Filme, Videospielkonsolen und Pay-TV. Sehr freundliches Personal, saubere, grosse Zimmer. Das Hotel hat eine tolle Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten können zu Fuss besucht werden. Bus und Taxistation in der Nähe. Genau das richtige für einen Städtetripp nach Denver.
"Gute Innenstadtlage"
Das Hotel verfügt über schön dekorierte, geräumige Zimmer. Die Einkaufsmeile 16th Street mit Shops, Cafes und Restaurants ist zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen. Es gibt keine Parkplätze rund um das Hotel, aber zahlreiche Parkgaragen. Wir haben uns für das sehr praktische, aber kostenpflichtige Valet-Parking entschieden. Gut gefallen hat uns die gemütliche […] Wein- und Getränkeprobe ab 17:00 Uhr im Foyer des Hotels. Nicht gefallen hat uns unsere Aussicht nach hinten auf ein Parkhaus, schmutzige Fensterscheiben, der Mangel an Handtüchern, sowie das Fehlen eines Innenpools. Die Hoteleinrichtungen werden auch von Einheimischen z. B. für Hochzeiten genutzt. Auffallend waren außerdem die vielen Hotelgäste mit Hunden. Wir würden das Kimpton wieder buchen, wenn wir einen guten Zimmerpreis erhalten. Als echtes "Luxushotel" würden wir es allerdings nicht bezeichnen. Mehr
"Great comfort and service"
Staff was terrific. Everything was fresh and hip including a great new design for the lobby. Wonderful take on eggs benedict as room service breakfast. Only downside, they charge for wireless on site and by the page for printing in the business office.

Our stay was very enjoyable!! the staff were incredibly helpful. really took care of us. really enjoyed coffee and tea in the mornings and the wine and appetizer at 5 pm every day. desk staff helped with calling a local cell phone store when my phone was squirrelly, got me directions to wherever we needed to go, took care of boarding passes. The room […] was small but very clean. There was a problem with not having hot water 2 different days but the staff responded very quickly. didn't have a coffee maker but they brought one as soon as we asked. Mehr
"I love Kimptons!"
Loved it. Loved everything about it. I'm a serious Kimpton fan though. They understand that actual humans stay in their hotels so there is always character and lots of comfort. Love having a goldfish and a yoga mat and healthy food choices. Makes business travel so much homier. "Most Reasonably Priced Hotel for Downtown"
Hotel Monaco is the most reasonably priced and available hotel in downtown Denver. It's one block from the lightrail, so key major attractions are just a few stops away. The rooms are very clean and nicely appointed, and room service is fantastic. "Great dog hotel"
I love the friendliness and downtown location of this hotel. They sure do welcome dogs with open arms! (It's not their fault that it's the worst neighborhood for dog walking I've ever seen.) The only small problem I had was that they didn't seem prepared for my prepaid hotel reservation. I had reserved a one king bed room and was given a two bed room […] which made it seem very small. There are good rooms and not so good. Last time I had one king with a sofa and cocktail table, very roomy and comfortable. This second floor room was more crowded and the windows were looking right out at the mechanicals on the building next door. They have great beds and bedding. Mehr

"Hotel Monaco is by far one of the best hotels ever"
The service was fabulous...everyone was so nice and accommodating. I felt like a VIP. Wine hour with chair massage helped me forget a rough travel day and I felt like I was at a spa somewhere. My only complaint is that there was a thumping in the pipe the bathroom sink that would randomly make noise in the middle of the night. I'm sure they would have […] moved me if I asked but my bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. Hotel Monaco will be my number one choice in Demver. Mehr
"Monaco Hotel in Denver--Pet & Guest Friendlly"
The staff there are always very helpful and friendly to me and my family including our dog Roxy. From Valet, Front Desk to Restaurant and Hotel staff. I love that the rooms and beds are very clean. Definitely will stay here again.

"Kimpton Style"
Usually Kimpton is pretty top notch and though they have done a great job with a funky space (by making it funky) the rooms could use some maintenance (i.e. bathroom grout missing and looks moldy). Also cheap towels that feel like sandpaper - not cool. However, aside from those gripes the staff was top notch and they accommodate to the gill.

This was a real surprise. Smaller but upscale hotel just a block away from Market St. Very nice staff. Attached restaurant was fabulous. Parking was valet only. We would come back here next time we visit Denver.

A creatively decorated hotel with helpful and friendly service, but uncomfortable beds and horrible foam pillows. best for the young at heart who would not even notice.

"Hotel was great as always"
This is a great hotel. Unfortunately, my room had an adjoining room where some bonehead decided that 5 am was a good time to have his conference call in a very loud voice. No soundproofing on the adjoining door. After banging on the door and getting no response, I called the front desk and they did finally shut him up. Also... I was given a handicapped […] accessable room which was oddly set up. Otherwise the Monaco is always a good bet in downtown Denver. Mehr

The Monaco was typical of my Kimpton experience, Cool elegance, great service, right sized rooms, excellent restaurant attached. The Monaco was a particularly good value being lower priced than several lesser "chain" hotels in the area.
Hotel Monaco was an excellent choice for our get-a-way in Denver. It is dog friendly and some who say they are just aren't. Not true at Monaco. We loved the location.

"So much to offer"
Love this hotel. It's a gem in downtown denver. Don't miss the happy hour from 5-6pm, free wine and massages in the lobby. The restaurant attached, Panzanos, also has a great happy hour and brunch. I also took advantage of the Aveda salon in the lobby. We'll return in the furture for sure.

"Excellent hotel"
Great hotel, great staff, great restaurant and breathtaking rooms. There was nothing left to not like about this place. If I have to pick out something, the cow in the lobby scared me the first time.

Hotel Monaco in Denver is seriously one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed in. The connecting restaurant, The Panzano was brilliant. I will be hard pressed to stay in another hotel if all the hotels in the Kimpton family have this level of service and quality.

"Mostly great"
I was at the hotel for two weekend nights and mostly had a very good experience. The only issue was the ongoing slamming of the doors of the other rooms which rattled my wall. As I was in the bed which had a headboard attached to the wall of the hallway and the doors would close it would literally shake the wall and attached headboard. I realized that […] while the doors had a mechanism that allowed the doors to automatically close slowly, it only worked until about the last 5 inches from the jam at which point it released and the doors closed freely. At one point the situation occurred over and over repeatedly in just a very short time so I looked out my door to see what was happening... I found that it was the hotel staff going from room to room (I think stocking the mini-bar and towel service). I spoke to the staff doing the servicing to let them know what was happening and they said "there's nothing they can do about it"..... I seem to think that if they just held the door as they closed it it would immediately stop the issue, but as they don't want to take the time to do that and just allow the door to close on it's own, then yes the situation would continue. The situation continued to happen with guests throughout the stay. I also informed the front desk and they really had no concern about it. Additionally, the room was on the small side, but comfortable. Mehr
"Hotel Monaco- unsatisfied"
The room as small as a studio even though I upgraded to a suite. None of the great things I look for a in a suite i.e. fridge, microwave, free internet even though the ad says free internet but actually a 10.00 charge. Said to have Signature bedding. Pillowtop mattress. Frette Italian sheets. Triple sheeting. Down blanket NONE to the above except […] the down blanket. but even then it was cheap. The bed was uncomfortable. Just beyond my satisfaction. I even called to verify it was the suite and sure enough it was, I tried to upgrade even further and they said to have sold out. Disappointed. Mehr
