Staybridge Suites Oak Ridge - Oak Ridge

Rooms are very nice with a full kitchen and grocery store right next door. With how busy my stay was, this made it very convenient to prepare my own dinner when I returned late. The sundowner was also nice, free beer in the lobby with various snack foods. Some nights the food was good, sometimes it wasn't. But it is hard to complain about having the […] extra option! The gym and the breakfast both left something to be desired. The gym in the hotel did not have a single piece of cardio equipment in good repair. One of the two treadmills was out of service the whole week I was there and the other made a very disconcerting squeaking noise when used. The single elliptical wasn't any better. While there is access to the gym down the street for hotel guests, the on site facility should be maintained. The free breakfast was average. Waffle machines, bagels, yogurt, etc. Not the best but not the worst. Mehr

My wife and I recently spent 3 nights at this hotel while on vacation to windrock/coal creek ohv park the staff was very friendly, helpful, and organized our room was great had much more to offer then what was listed on online when we booked. We booked a king suite which we were surprised when we walked in the door and found that there was a full size […] fridge/freezer, kitchen sink, dishwasher, and all cabinets stocked with glasses, plates, and tons of utensils. Kitchen was connected to the living room with couch and love seat, and tv in the bedroom wonderful king bed with several night stands and dressers and yet another tv. On the bed was a small note card that read if there bed was comfortable try their feather pillows and down comfort that were in the closet the bathroom was shower only which was fine it did have a slight leak after showing there was always water running across the floor and under the sink nothing that a spare towel couldn't soak up! Breakfast was good plenty of options although its hard to complain when its included in your stay the seating during breakfast hours was tight maybe only 5 tables but each morning we never had to wait for a space to eat. I would highly recommend this hotel I will be returning on my next trip to oliver springs! Mehr

This hotel was exceptional. Very clean, extremely quiet and had a good breakfast. The one bedroom suite was very functional and the beds were comfortable. I was, though, disappointed with the desk clerk at check in. I asked if they had a first floor room, or one very near the elevator, because we were having a visitor who had trouble walking. She said […] she had us on the second floor, not far from the elevator. She didn't even check her occupancy to see if she had anything on the first floor and when we got to our room it was way down the hall from the elevator. Our visitor had a very difficult time reaching the room. This type service just put a little bad taste in our mouths at the very beginning of our stay. Mehr

Only thing I would do is place a Staybridge sign out on the main road to help with finding which road to turn in to.

The only thing wrong with the Hotel was they needed a sign to lite up to show you where they are. It was dark at night and I drove past it and had to circle back. The room was simply marvelous and clean. The paintings on the walls gave it a homely feelinf of home. Very nice !!!! I give it a 4 to 5 star rating.
