HYATT house Dallas/Uptown - Dallas

I travel a lot on business, and this is probably one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. Well priced, tons of useful amenities, comfy room, great area for food and drinks.

It was a very nice stay, although the last night I was in the hotel, there was a boys baseball team at the hotel and they were very loud....all hours of the night even after I asked them to carry their talking elsewhere away from my door.

The hotel is nondescript in how it looks on the outside. It's a little threadbare in the halls and common areas. However, the rooms are well laid out, and they are very nice. I thought it would be a good base for a trip with the kids to DFW.

This was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The customer service was amazing!

Well price accommodation with large sized rooms. Staff were not particularly helpful and looking to go above and beyond for the guests. 5-10 minute walk from any real variety of restaurants but close to the station.

This property provided us easy and close access to both downtown and uptown. The room was comfortable and provided everything we needed. Hotel staff was friendly and the gated parking garage provided plenty of security for our vehicle and its contents. The downside for us was a swimming pool that was not open until 10am. Convenient location for a Mavs game. They have a shuttle, but it is less than a 10 min walk. The mattress was uncomfortable, but overall a good stay.

I absolutely loved our stay! Could not have been more convenient. Everywhere we wanted to go was so close.

For the price....The Hyatt House is a great value! The property is in excellent condition, and the staff is helpful and friendly. The parking is convenient to the guest areas. This was very pleasant stay during a business trip to Dalls. The staff went out of their way to make every guest feel like they were valued guests. A lot of attention to making this an inviting place to stay. I hope to see more of this Hyatt in other locations.

I could not recommend a hotel that does not accomodate business travel. When traveling on business, plans change quickly. When a hotel can't refund you at least a portion of the full fee when you are forced to check out early and get on a plane to a different destination, it is just indecent in these tough economic times.

lovely staff, great complimentary breakfast, really up to date, well stocked kitchen, great products, fabulous bed, free parking, and location par excellance...will def. stay there again.

Very comfortable atmosphere; very conveniently located; friendly staff; would definitely stay there again.

Everything started out fine until our toilet leaked all over the room. We had left for dinner and when we came back the water was to the door. We were told to gather our things and reluctantly given another room. A blonde front desk attendant told us we could have a "Free beer," for our trouble...A free beer that was already free since it was happy […] hour. A free beer that in no way made up for moving my toilet-soaked belongings with no offer to launder them. We are easy going so rather than object we simply declined, with confusion, and left the premises. The next day I asked the only nice and competent front desk attendant if we could get a ride to the airport. (Seriously, she was great, I blame the next awkward transaction in the driver) Instead of a cab we got an old car with no meter. No one told us if we had to pay or what and once we arrived at the airport were simply stared at by the driver until we offered up the correct amount of cash. The most bizarre "hospitality," I have ever encountered. I won't stay there again. Mehr

This hotel does not hold its name up. Its VERY outdated for a Hyatt. There's also a 1" gap under the room door so you can hear everyone that walks by throughout the night/morning. The front desk people were nice and very helpful.

Literally a couple blocks away from the AAC. Very convenient.

the staff was very friendly. shuttle drivers were knowledgable about surrounding areas. the room was excellent. i stayed in all day because i was comfortable.

This hotel was a wonderful surprise! We had our two older children with us and it was so roomy and comfortable. I booked it because of it's close proximity to the American Airlines Center and it was a 10-minute walk tops. It was perfect for what we needed and we really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Stayed there to watch a Dallas Mavericks game. Nice hotel with an awesome room and staff. Walked about a block to the American Airlines Center.

This hotel is super close to AA Center where we saw the Clippers vs. Mavs game and a short cab ride to McKinney street where all the bars/lounges are located. The staff was great and the hotel offers free breakfast (7-10am weekends and 7-9:30am weekdays). They also offer something similar to happy hr M-F but for free! Free food & free beer/wine. The perfect hotel if your attending an event at AAC, they provide a shuttle, but it was close enough to drive yourself. The staff were very helpful with any needs we add.

We went to the American Airlines Center to see Lady Antebellum and the location could not be better, right across the street. The breakfast was included, and we had a great time.

Great hotel for the Arts District and the American Airlines Center. Staff not super friendly - parking a little difficult to locate in the dark - you need to check in first and then go underground. Room was great for a quick one night stay

The room next to me had a dog barking past 10pm and before 6am the next day. Apparently pets are allowed... dogs and cats. I'm never staying again.

I came to Dallas to see a Mavericks and a Stars game. It's less than 5 minutes away from the American Airlines Center and close to everything that's needed. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is friendly. The only complaint I have is regarding other guests yelling and screaming in the hall ways after midnight both nights I was there. Other […] than that, it was amazing. The hotel was perfect for going to a Mavs game. There are no restaurants to walk to but West End is not far away. We walked to the game and didn't have to hassle with game parking or traffic. The suite room also had a full kitchen, nice living area and two flat screen TVs.

We have stayed two years in a row at the Hyatt in Dallas and have been very pleased with our experience while there. It is certainly located close to the American Airlines Center, which is a huge plus for us as we enjoy watching the Detroit Redwings play the Dallas Stars each year. I really enjoyed my stay here at the Hyatt Summerfield Suites in Uptown. The front desk was very pleasant and helpful and very receptive to any questions we had. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. Anything you ever needed was within five miles radius and a free Hyatt shuttle would take you and pick you up from anywhere! Booking on Hotels.com […] was fast and easy and when I wanted to extent my stay, they gave me no issues. I definitely reccommend this Hotel and hotels.com! Mehr

Rooms were clean and very spacious. It seems to only be a couple of years old. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the American Airlines Center, but the hotel will even drive you over there in their shuttle if you ask them ahead of time. For the price, you're not going to find a better hotel in downtown Dallas than this one!

I enjoyed the stay at your hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Love the breakfast and the happy hour in the evening. The one negative that really does need to be addressed is the total lack of communication between both the hotel employees, the shuttle drivers and the customers concerning the shuttle to & from the WTC. We were told […] different pickup spots both days. Hotel employees and drivers were never on the same page. We received different information depending on who we talked to. We walked all over the place the first night trying to find the correct location. We gave up & took a taxi. The next day, the driver told us one location only to arrive that evening for pick up and no shuttle arrived. After waiting & calling for 30 minutes, finally found the shuttle. But what a waste of time. Get this problem corrected and we will be back Mehr

I must say I was a little worried after some of the reviews I read here. However our stay here was AMAZING!! I consider myself VERY picky & particular. Our room was beautiful! Very clean! It had a full kitchen, nice flat screen TV, dvd player, & very fast wireless internet. The bed was very comfortable with lots of extra pillows...5 on the bed (king) […] & an additional 2 in the closet along with an extra blanket. The staff was fantactic! They have a shuttle book & you just signup for the time you want to leave. The shuttle driver was very nice & even suggested places we should go visit. It was nice to enjoy dallas without having to drive ourselves! The evening social was also very nice...a variety of snack foods, wine, & beer. I was also concerned after reading reviews here about the walk to the American Airline Center...however we walked there & back without any issues. There were other fans walking back the same route with us when the game ended. It's literally 2 blocks away not far at all. The only thing I wasn't thrilled with was the "room service" it's not actually a service offered by the hotel its from a different company but you will see the menu in your room. We ordered pizza trying to save ourselves another trip out...well it was worst pizze we have ever had....so save your money go with another national brand pizza place or go out to eat.
