Since I found this hotel , I go to this hotel often , was there 2 weeks ago and I'll be there next month Fromdesk are nice charming people , It's very clean , I always get there a little early but they always let me check in before the time , of course when there is a room available ;) It's located in a very quite area so that is a plus for me And […] there is a shopping area 4 minutes walking so I'll extremely recommended .. Good place for a quick overnight stay.
Room nice an clean. pool water could be a little warmer. need more ice melt by back exit door. would stay their the next time I am in town. Breakfest was great.
"Bad Bed = Bad Motel"
A passable bed can be made up for in alot of ways but, a bad bed is a bad experience no matter what else happens.

"Just Right"
Was tired after a 17 hour work shift and couldn't make it home. My arrival was late, but the clerk was very friendly and the room was quiet. Was a very comfortable stay!

"nice hotel"
We stayed here just one night after going to a concert in Des Moines. It was very clean, the staff was very friendly. There really is not too much directly surrounding the hotel to go to for dinner but drive just a little way and we were good

The hotel pool was very dirty, I went for a swim and the water was gross and the sides of the pool were greasy and gross. The comforter on the bed was dirty and faded. The hotel manager was very rude and they obviously don't care about buisness, and to top it off I found not one but TWO TICKS in the towels I will never stay here ever again. Room was clean and comfortable. Only problem was a balky recliner; once reclined it was difficult to bring upright.

We stayed at this hotel one night. It was clean and the staff was friendly. We did not have time to use the pool,so not sure about that. Overall a good stay.

We were so pleased with this hotel. The bathroom, room, and lobby was spotless. There were plenty of pillows and even a recliner in the room. Our remote control batteries were low in the middle of the night and the desk staff located some immediately. I WAS ON A QUICK 3 DAY BUSINESS TRIP. ARRIVED LATE , TIRED AND HUNGRY! FRONT DESK GAVE ME 3-4 BANANAS! VERY PERSONAL STAFF & PROFESSIONAL. NEXT DAY, LIGHT BULB WENT OUT-DIDNT MENTION IT: REPLACED ASAP. ROOM WAS LARGE AND SPACIOUS. I LIKE MY COFFEE STRONG: THYE HA GAVE ME 3-4 EXTRA COFFE PACKEST EVERY DAY FOR USE IN ROOM. "shuttle"
It would be helpful if the shuttle service was marked "Days Inn" rather than a generic name that means nothing to a traveler. I could have waled directly to the appropriate shuttle. Instead I had to query each shuttle until I finally found one that would take me to Days Inn.
"Okay, condidering hotel in renovation/construction"
Poor signage, none on Front St, and sign at entrance not easily seen. Andrews Bar/Grill was okay for bar snacks. Hostess Tara, made our family dining enjoyable, due to a Steak Special available on the weekend. Need more dinner entrees, and dining seating.. The room was clean, but we were bothered the entire time with tiny, black, flying bugs. The entry […] key cards became deactivated. There was a warning on the sleeve to keep away from magnets, and keep in sleeve for protection, but it still failed we were told if they were near a cell phone, or credit cards which were not indicated. A refrigerator and/or a microwave would be handy for longer stays. The hotel was okay considering it is being renovated and under construction. Had some problems, but the worst was the tiny, black flying bugs, and only one elevator in service. I assume the outside grounds will be cleaned up and spruced up as part or the renovation. We were up on the sixth floor facing the pool and highway, and at times heard noises, even talking, maybe triple pane windows might help eliminate this. Mehr

Great room for a good price, near airport, close to Polk Co. Convention Complex where we had to be. Room had couch and recliner, refrig., microwave. Wonderful breakfast in the morning!

First time I have used hotels.com. Great experience. Days Inn was good location. Near the places we needed but just enough off Fluer to be a little quieter. Good free breakfast and they had a highchair.

Although this hotel is under the airport flightpath, I never heard a peep from that or the other guests. I will have to say that this was the cleanest room I ever stayed in. Waffles and biscuits and gravy along with the standards at the breakfast. Room with two queens was cramped for three, but we managed. Good wi-fi in the rooms. No local/hotel info […] notebook in the rooms and bring your own Splenda if you don't like Sweet and Low. Mehr

"VERY NICE MOTEL"
The motel is behind the Days Inn on Fleur Drive near the air port. It was very clean, the beds where good and above all else the staff was VERY nice. The free food in the morning (4:30 to 10:00 AM) is one of the best I have seen!!!!!!!!!!!

The room was spacious and clean, and very comfortable. The indoor pool and the breakfast were great.

Directly across from the airport, this was so convenient and a great value for the money. No complaints and would stay here again. Left to early to enjoy the breakfast, but it looked like a nice set up.

very impressed with this hotel. Great price, wonderful staff, very clean rooms. the free breakfast was great. We will be back there again on our next trip out to Des Moines. Even though it was close to the airport you could not hear the planes at all. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel.
