Für leute die auf der Durchreise sind oder länger bleiben wollte gleichermaßen geeignet. Zum Pear sind es ca 5 gehminuten!

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 20. Jan. 2013Der Empfang war im Gegensatz zu allen anderen H.I.ex unaufmerksam und nicht dem Standard entsprechend. Der Gast ist hier Nebensache. Dem Mitarbeiter am Empfang war es wichtiger sein Spiel oder Internet am PC zu beenden. Wir sind gegen 14:45 angereist und das Zimmer war noch nicht fertig. Das Hotel hat den typischen H.I.ex Standard. Alles ist Sauber und OK. Deswegen wurde die Servicequalität mit schlecht beurteilt.

"Einzigartiges Hotel in toller Lage"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 10. Dez. 2012Das Hotel liegt zentral, ein Parkhaus für 7 US$ pro Tag ist in wenigen Gehminuten zu erreichen, Valet Parking wird aber auch angeboten. Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind toll eingerichtet. Unser Zimmer hatte einen Ausblick auf einen sehr dreckigen Innenhof und war außerdem sehr klein, dafür war es aber auch über die App sehr günstig gebucht worden. Das inkl. Continental Frühstück war gut. Unter'm Strich gibt es nichts zu beanstanden.

"Zentral gelegen"
Der Aufenthalt war gut. Nur durch die Bauart bedingt nicht unbedingt fuer laermempfindliche Menschen zu empfehlen. Jedes getrampel eine Etage hoeher ist zu hoeren - und es wurde viel getrampelt... Ansonsten sehr ruhig. Gutes Fruehstueck, WiFi, Zimmer - und wie in der Ueberschrift bemerkt - zentral. Ca. 1km von der Wharf entfernt, ca. 15min zu gehen […] . "Hotel in guter Lage..."
Das Hotel liegt mitten in Downtown und 10min. Fußweg zum Wharf. Die Zimmer sind sauber und bieten reichlich Platz. Das Frühstück wird in einem seperatem Raum angebotem, die Auswahl eher bescheiden. "Worst service I have ever had"
I arrived at the hotel in the evening and there wasn't anyone at the front desk. I can understand that. We settled into our rooms and wanted to try out the "spa" on site, and thus encountered the first problem; there were only two towels in the whole bathroom. I called the front desk and asked for more towels, and they made me come to the front desk […] to get them .Then we went to the "spa" ..it was more a 3ft hole in the ground that has a label on it called "spa". It was lukewarm at best, and once the jets came on the water quickly became filled with trash. Yes, trash. Not just leaves and sticks, but water bottles, pieces of plastic and even bottle caps.The shower water never got hot either, and I noticed the wallpaper at the door and all across the room was peeling and coming off.We tried to go to sleep but the AC unit kept making a weird and prominent buzzing noise when it wasn't on. Very hard to sleep with. The next morning we called the front desk and asked for new towels. They called our room and told us we have to bring back our dirty towels before we can get new towels.. who does this?! -This is the worst place I have ever stayed. We liked this hotel. Indian guy at reception not the most welcoming person in Monterey and the cleaning always ready to assist you even though their job is to keep the premises clean. Very confortable bed and pillows. Nice big fridge, microwave, coffe maler, hair dryer etc. Nice 10 min walk to the wharf in town. The room was clean and comfortable, with a large bed. The bathroom looks like it has been renovated fairly recently, with new tile on the floor and in the bathtub. It is within walking distance of downtown Monterey. Drawbacks? No internet at all, either in the rooms or in the lobby. Also, the staff does not man the front desk all the time. They sit […] in back and you have to ring the bell to get them to come out. It doesn't sound like a big deal, but I received several phone calls while i was there (I had lost my cell phone during the trip) and missed several of them. The location and price were decent. The only negative aspect was the lobby, which smelled of unpleasant body odor. Since that was my first experience of the motel, it set a difficult tone to ignore. This was a very inexpensive hotel, that being said it was reasonably clean for the price. The room was good sized, the bed was okay as far as comfort level. "Helpful front desk"
Our flight was delayed and we didn't arrive until 2am at the hotel. We found our keys waiting for us at the door (what a relief to a horrendous day), and was even greeted as we were walking to our room by the front desk clerk! AT 2am! They assisted us with all our needs. The only downside was our room (224) was by the trash bin for the office building […] next door and pickup was at 450am Monday morning. "Not Good!!"
The hotel was very out dated. The bathrooms tiles were broken and dirty. The hotel was self service which means around 7am you had to get your own towels, wash towels, tissue ,and whatever else you needed on your own from there storage room. Some friends and I stayed here on a road trip and found it to be perfect for the cost. It was within easy walking distance of downtown (specifically the main stretch, Alvarado Street,) and a slightly longer but comfortable walking distance from Fisherman's Wharf. The room itself was very clean and perfectly comfortable, and was quite large. The breakfast […] was nothing to write home about, but honestly, how often is it? "Clean and convenient"
