how old is that place it needs paint bad, the door stuck so bad you had to almost kick it in, the manager acted like no problem at all don't want to stay there again

One of the rooms I rented (NON SMOKING) smelled so bad of smoke #126 I had to change rooms for the second night, that room was under a room that played the TV so loud we did not get any sleep. The free breakfast was 4 peices of toast and a few waffels, no milk or cream out for the coffee.

nice clean room, was alot more than expected - will stay again and would recommend to friends

My boyfriend and I stayed at this hotel since we had a wedding to go to out in Queens. It was thankfully close to the wedding reception hall, but was a mediocre hotel. The room we stayed in smelled of bleach and the bathtub was in disrepair. We choose this hotel for the price, not it's ambiance.

The bathroom was not working, sink was clog with paper, only good thing was the tv.

Would havw been nice if the shower worked

The hallway smelled like mothballs and mold. There were no towels in the room and when I called the front desk he asked if I could come get them because no one else was there. I went to the desk and was handed 2 towels. When I asked for washcloths and hand towels the employee said there weren't any. None available. He had to go out back to get these […] from the laundry. I told him I'd have to cut a towel then to make a washcloth and he said, ok. Continental breakfast was a 2 slice toaster that took 15min to toast bread, frozen waffles that you pull apart and put into the toaster and warm, bottom of the barrel oj and milk. Mehr

if you're used to "new" hotels and being treated like a Marriott Platinum member this isn't for you. it's rough around the edges but if you're a road warrior simply looking for the best possible value and keeping a lid on your travel costs it's a diamond in the rough. the actual condition of the rooms is nicer than what you encounter on driving up and […] walking in. I have business all over the island and it's a good central location to set up camp for 4 days when I'm there. End of the day you can walk over to the ClubHouse for some seriously good food and drink, and when it's all said and done your restaurant AND hotel costs will be less than just a room at the Hampton Inn down the road in Commack. the breakfast is kind of weak but there's a grocery store accross the street and a fridge and microwave in the room so you can grab some yogurt or fruit or whatever if you don't want a bagel or toast or cereal. repeat.....if you have one BONE of prima donna in you or don't know what "road warrior" means this might not be ideal for you. Burns on bedrspread,stains on rug,buttons missing from jetted tub,toilet seat broken,toilet lid too small for tank,no blow dryer,No face clothes one day,only 1 hand towel,coffee pot spout broken coffee went everyplace.Door to outside of bldg did not lock,broken vending machines.The only thing we liked was the coffee.

2 Guests 1 Bathtowel 1 face cloth i coffee mug. No toilet holder, bathroom door very hard to shut. Micro wave turntable broken. No smoke detector in room.No water for over 3 hours.No dvd player. Advertised well but did not get as presented.

This hotel is mostly a weekly stay place. I was probably one of the only "regular" hotel guests there. The outside was dirty and the residents were loud. There were cigarette burns on the blanket and carving on the bed board. A pleasant surprise was to find an in-room jacuzzi. The room was old but clean. The price was about half of the other hotels […] in the area. If you're picky, do not stay here. If you're in for the savings and a good location, this should work. Mehr

I think what really gets me about this place is how they advertise it. If they were honest with their room and fitness room pictures, I would never had booked this hotel. The gym has 3 pieces of equipment: a multigym with slack pulleys, a treadmill that only goes above 6.9mph, and a stationary bike with a broken display. I used the bike about 5 times […] in the two weeks I was there and was constantly bothered by the live-in children who wander into the gym room when someone else is there. There were 2 police visits and domestic arguments constantly. The housekeeping staff repeatedly left fewer towels than I had BEFORE they came and they came in my room once when I put up the do not disturb. I'd say the owners just don't care. Mehr

Tough to get a decent rate on hotel nights in Long Island/NY - so I took what I could get at the price I could afford (business). Okay bed, huge TV, jaccuzzi tub (but didn't use because it didn't feel clean), sparce breakfast....

Dirty hotel - allow Section 8 people to reside at this hotel.....young children running around at all hours - lots of questionable activity late at night - would not recommend. Dirty towels hung back up after room was cleaned by the staff.

check in ok- condition of hotel, environment, pretty bad, sheets and towels very old and tired- really not sure they were cleaned, a/c noisy and bot blowing any cool air- extremely humid - do uncomfortable and did not sleep- breakfast area unappealing, hotel generally run down, only plus was the showerhead- nice shower ...

The hotel is still renovating its rooms so it's not surprising that there are a wide range of ratings. Even staying in a renovated room is a problem. Although smoking is prohibited, the room smelled. The windows had no screens and could not be opened. Certain TV channels, e.g., ABC and NBC, had "No Signals." The coffee pot did not work. The bathroom […] is the best feature with a Jaxuzzi tub and plentiful hot water. I stayed three days but had no room service the second night. The continental breakfast is rather limited. The front desk was helpful, though, even though most problems they could not deal with. It is an inexpensive place to stay. Mehr

We were very satisfied with everything - customer se, room service,the room, etc. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good night's rest in a very clean and comfortable setting.

After a 20 hour drive, this is NOT the place to lay your head! My wife and I almost opted to sleep in our car. There was no carpeting on the floor of the hallway, debris all over, smelled like mold, black stains all over floor of room, stains in our sink, jetted tub did not work at all, (my wife wore her flip flops in the shower), bed was made of cardboard, […] microwave was stained beyond comprehension, wireless internet did not work, water poured out of sink when you turn it on, no toilet paper, well... you get the point. I asked to switch our room and the second was exactly the same. We arrived at 4:30 in the morning due to horrific traffic and i asked if we could get an extra hour of sleep. This hotel was in the worst shape of any hotel I have ver seen! The carpet, linens, and furnishings were ratty, torn, stained...just awful! The exterior was nearly as bad with rusting exposed pipes and peeling paint. Don't be tempted into thinking it's a value. You will be badly disappointed.

hotel was getting an uplift, so it must be nicer now. Was OK though. Brakfast fine, mgr's nice. Well located. Pool empty though in the middle of summer!

I was there in mid renovation so I don't know where it will be heading. The rooms were old and the beds hard but was convenient for my stay. Price wise for the area it's a good deal and having a grocery store and several food places in walking distance was a plus. There was a hole in the wall covered by the wallpper. Room walls were dirty. The corridor carpets were being replaced, I think, so the floors were exposed concrete.

The motel seemed a little overpriced. In general it was alright, but the sheets, while clean, were covered with permanent stains and some of the furniture was tattered. It seemed there was an effort to present a decent motel, but the funds to do it weren't there.The breakfast was minimal at best. Overall the motel was OK for our needs. It was quiet […] and we slept. This hotel was absolutely disgusting. All of the rooms spelled bad, they were dirty, and I had mosquitos in mine. I did not feel safe in this hotel at all and had to cancel my reservation and move to a different hotel. It was entirely awful. No one should stay here.

Terrible Customer service and lots of prostitution

The hotel is clean and comfortable, it is an older hotel and shows it's age however, it is very functional for the weary traveler. I would definitely stay again. As far as the complaints about the showers is out of line, they are steam showers and very large jacuzzi tubs in a smaller size bathrooms. you should condemn this hotel.Shame on you for letting them advertise. Mold not working plumbing,ainting the rotten wood.flooded floors..I would never ever think the Dept of Health could be so lax.

Prior to arriving at the hotel, I had read several bad reviews about this hotel. I had my doubts. Worst rooms, ugly bathrooms in need of much maintenance. Smelly stinky sheets and yellow pillows. Avoid this place unless you're desperate.

The room was clean and comfortable, however the shower was difficult to get in and out of. The breakfast was limited.the choice as well as the quantity so get there early. Also, the pool was not open yet, but it was beginning of summer and 86° and it would have been nice

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! I travel a lot and needed a inexpensive hotel on short notice so I looked up the hotel on hotels.com and the rating seemed reasonable. However, I booked (2) rooms for (1) week. When I got to my room, the stench was almost unbearable....it smelled like a combination of urine and drugs! The door frames were […] all broken and screwed back together after someone had kicked them in.....when I contacted the front desk, they sent someone in to "spray" in an effort to mask the smell. I tried, without success, to get another room. I told the front desk I would not be staying another night and they still charged my credit card for (2) rooms for (2) nights! STAY AWAY!!! it's not "fancy" by any stretch, but if you want a central location to make camp while you have sales calls on Long Island for the week as I do, it's road warrior heaven. for about half the cost of a mid level chain you've got all you need. Good walking distance restaurants and drinks, even a grocery story accross the street so the mini fridge and microwave […] can be put to use if you like. if you're used to pampering and upscale lodging it's a little rough, but if you want functional good value, I make it my place every time I have business on Long island. This is definitely not the nicest or cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in but the location is good. If you are staying for a night or two it is tolerable but I would not stay there longer than that. It needs a lot of updates and heavy cleaning

Good place to stay for few nights. Centrally located in the Huntington area.

The room that they checked me into was not cleaned and reeked of smoke for a non-smoking room. New room wasn't much better. Very outdated decor and the service wasn't much better. Maid service walked in at 8:30 AM unannounced to clean the room while check-out wasn't until 11:00 AM.

The room served me well. The housekeepers however were a different story. They left half used bottles if loton and shampoo for me to use. Luckily there was a rite aid across the street so I bought my own. Other. Than that it servd as a room to stay. It was a non smoking room that smelled like smoke.

Very nice place to stay.

You get what you pay for. Conditions are old and the rooms smell. Electrical issues in the room and exposed wiring. Not worth the low cost. Horrible conditions.

Had to leave a few hours after arriving. The first room they gave me had a waterlogged carpet and a broken refrigerator filled with mold. The second room had a bed which was comprised of a mattress and box spring on the floor. No base. Thankfully, hotels.com rebooked me.

Stayed here before, but the condition of the hotel has declined markedly. The appointments are worn, the breakfast is inedible, there are huge potholes in the parking area and it is generally rundown.
