Ramada Limited Tempe University - Tempe

The staff was great & price was right, we love the metro being so close for transportation. The decor was older & needs face lift, & not the best area for night walking. We like the individual wrapped muffins & bagels.

I wanted a modest hotel on the light rail line and that part was good. Pool and hot tub were clean but the jets of the hot tub stopped working the second day I was there and never got fixed. I think I went through six door cards in 4 days as they wouldn't work. Arm of the wooden chair kept coming off and it wouldn't hurt to upgrade the tv. WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH A NOISE REFRIG. THEY OFFERED ANOTHER ROOM BUT WE SAID JUST REPLACE IT TOMORROW.. tHEY WERE PROMPT IN DOING THAT. GREAT STAFF. nOT CONVIENT TO FREEWAYS BUT OK

It was very quaint. Obviously an older motel that has been re done but it was nice the room smelled of stale cigarette smoke (very stale) but that soon went away. Clean,nice and good location. I will stay there again.

We stayed here due to the convenient location (adjacent to ASU campus) and low price. Problem: You get what you pay for. The best we could could get after running the water for 20 minutes was luke warm. Thr front desk seemed indifferent to our complaint. Also, though we didn't use it much, the TV was ancient and had a fuzzy, out of focus picture, so […] bad that I couldn't read the game scores running across the bottom. This property gives the Ramada franchise a bad name, avoid staying at this property. Mehr

Worst hotel I have ever paid for! The bed is horrible, especially with the hair I found in it, the used bar of soap in the shower was not pleasant, and the half empty bottle of lotion was disgusting. Spend a few extra bucks and get a better hotel. The location is decent; Right next to the light rail , but in the heart of the ghetto. Hotel was decent overall. Located somewhat close to the University. Rooms are roomy and have a coffee maker. But, my room did not have a remote for the TV and the room smelled like cigarettes really bad. Which is made worse by the fact that they make you sign a agreement not to smoke punishable by a $300 fine.

Upgrade to the Jacuzzi suite. Living room with couch, fridge, micro, coffee pot and sofa. Pocket door separates the livingroom from the bed and bath. Breakfast waffles and continental breakfast.

I have two sons at ASU. It is in the heart of Tempe and the ASU community. The staff is very friendly and it is great value for the money. Highly recommend it.

I was satisfied with the price and location of the hotel. I liked that they have free wi-fi and breakfast. What I didn't like was that they had dark blue carpet in the room I was in, and it was filthy dirty! My two year old daughter and I stayed there overnight as she was having surgery nearby, and both of our feet were just black with dirt after walking […] around our room without shoes or socks on. The quality of their complimentary breakfast is poor. Rest is satisfying for the rate I paid.

It was advertised that the hotel was near AZ Mills Mall which is close to it but there is another Ramada that is right off the freeway and alot closer.I felt a little mislead by the listing

First off having the light rail out front made it a fun time in itself... From moment one the staff was great the conditions were great just close enough to Mill Ave while being just off the highway as well. The pool small but nice... Behind the pool there is a big vacant lot that you can go throw the ball around with the dog... Not North Scottsdale […] but a bargain for the buck.... Mehr

Price was right. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom had a smell and shower curtain was not clean. Overall, it worked.

If you need to be near the University, this is the perfect place. The room was completely adequate for my needs. Most of all, it was very clean and quiet. I did not go for breakfast so I've no idea what kind of things they offer in the morning. My only complaint is that I could not find a Starbucks near the area! Great place! Light rail if you dig that thing, friendly staff, a GAME ROOM! Table hockey! Ms. PacMan! C O O L ! My pet peeve: plastic cups in the room instead of glass. The rooms here are simple but the service is good and it is in a convenient location. Close to downtown restaurants and shopping. Stayed here with fiance for the Ironman.

The hotel had clean accomodations, the breakfast was ample and many selections were available. The hotel was right across the street from the light rail and the rates were wonderful.

I stay here often for business. This is a decent hotel, but I find that I often have to go back and request better rooms. There are good rooms and bad rooms here. Generally the issues are maintenance (e.g., air conditioning that doesn't get cold, carpeting with tears/holes, TVs with blurry displays) and cleanliness (e.g., cigarette smoke smell, pet […] stains on carpet), If the room you get is not up to your standards, by all means go back to the front desk and demand a better room. They will accomodate you and only then will you be satisfied with your stay. BTW: their free wireless internet is fast and reliable; the beds in the rooms are clean and comfortable. Mehr

Nice, clean room, close to everything. Very nice, friendly and helpful staff. I will book with them again on my next business trip to Tempe.

Great location right in the middle of Tempe and very close to the airport. The only thing really is that it kinda smelled like someone had smoked in the room.. Other than that, clean, comfortable, nice room.
