Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Not a top of the line hotel, but comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

The pictures show the pool/water slides, but when we went to take the kids, we found out that it is not located at the hotel, it is 4-5 blocks down the street. A little inconvienced due to the fact that my wife and daughter were going to swim and workout while my son and I went to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Overall pleasant experience. A little difficult to find using a GPS because of the street design in downtown Massillon (not the hotel's fault). Very clean hotel and room. Front desk personnel was very friendly and efficient. Above average bed as far as comfort goes. TV a bit small for size of room but decent station selection. No vents in bathroom so […] you can't blow the steam out during a hot shower (not uncommon for current hotel remodel schemes). Breakfast bar very good as far as quality, selection, and variety goes. I would rate that a 9.5/10. Eggs were nice consistency and not runny, 4 different types of juices, at least 6 types of cereal, also had yogurt, fruit, and a waffle bar. After a rainy, windy 5 + hour drive it was comforting to arrive at the Hampton Inn Massillon to be greeted by friendly, helpful staff. While the hotel is located in a small town don't be fooled. The only thing we missed was the traffic. The reliable, high-speed Internet access made it very easy for us to stay in touch. The clean comfortable bedding […] was absolutely wonderful - EVERYTHING is laundered after each guest visit. The only downside was the breakfast which did not include any breakfast meats. There was a nice selection of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, and make your own waffles but the thick "sausage gravy" did not appear to be very appetizing. The location is what we expected for the area, but the convenience of nearby low-cost national restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries, and pharmacies located on The Hill was a bonus. We definitely recommend the Hampton Inn Massillon and plan to return when we visit the nearby Football Hall of Fame. Mehr

We were on a biking tour using the Ohio and Erie Canalway and this was our stop from Cleveland. The hotel staff were great and had absolutely no problem with us bringing our bikes up to our room so they would be secure. There are several places within walking distance to eat and places to see. Great location to the NFL Hall of Fame. Plenty of places to dine in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Massillon Hampton. Everyone was just so nice and was alwayswilling to do anything to make our time there a pleasure. The king size bed was so comfortable. The air conditioner was putting out great cold air. The breakfast each morning was always freash and the nice young ladies were so pleasant. We had a really early […] flight to take on Monday, and the breakfast host was rushing to get everything out before 6 am. I thanked her for rushing but we had our coffee and had to leave. The hotel was clean, beds comfortable, breakfast was good and much more than what I expected. The staff was friendly. Would recommend to others.

My family enjoyed our stay at this hotel and the close drive to our parents new condo in Massillon.

We stayed for 2 nights on the 5th floor and enjoyed them both. The curtains blocked out the light, super quiet, free parking, and the room was clean. The help in the lobby was very friendly and said hello to everybody. The breakfast was not stellar but wayyyy better than average (we didn't have to rush right out and get another breakfast somewhere else). […] Only complaint is that the elevators were very slow. I've stayed at the Hampton Inn in Massillon before and remembered it had the most comfortable beds (they call it cloud nine comfort) .. this visit also did not disappoint. The beds were super comfortable, the breakfasts delicious and the staff friendly. We also made use of the fitness room, which is kept clean, has a tv and air con... and nice equipment. […] We stayed for just over a week and have no complaints. I would ABSOLUTELY reccommend this hotel - and have already. Mehr

This hotel was located conveniently to the Hall of Fame and Fawcett Stadiujm. It made our trip to Canton much easier in that we could get a good night's rest before traveling back to Cincinnati. The room was clean, there were plenty of towels, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel staff were very cordial and attentive. Thank you!
