The hotel was redecorating so allowed for that. Sure wish I had known that before I arrived! Service was the worst. I saw only 1 person while there for 2 nights and it was the front desk person who was anything but welcoming. Requested room to be cleaned when I was away and it was not. The lobby was being remodeled and the staff went out of their way to be friendly and accomodating. In particular Wendy was great. We have stayed at this hotel several times and she seems to be there all the time. She is the best, very friendly and prfessional.

VERY courteous and gracious staff! The rooms are a little small, but are very clean and comfortable. This hotel is situated in a very convenient location for getting all around Louisville. There are also plenty of nearby gas stations and places to eat. I will definitely stay here again!

The location of the hotel has excellent access to east Louisville. The room was very clean and in order. I will stay there again on my future trips.

The hotel and room were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is located just off an industrial park in a retail area, but it is a nice area and we did not feel unsafe. There are several fast food and sit down restaurant choices very nearby.

The staff was great, rooms nice, breakfast buffet very good. We had a little bad luck with some guests on our floor. A youth basketball team was staying both nights we were there and they were yelling and screaming and running down the hall chasing each other. Doors were being slammed continously. We called the desk twice and finally they got them to […] stop it the third time security came. The coaches had to get involved. The next night we had to call the desk again about the hooligans. They eventually shut up but then we could smell them smoking in their non-smoking rooms. Next time I'll ask if any youth sports teams are in the hotel and ask to be as far away from them as possible, They took over the pool area and the gym to the extent that other guests stayed away from those areas. They we equally unruly at breakfast as well. The hotel did as well as they could but those kids were out of control and the adults with them didn't seem to care. Mehr

We arrived late and left early the next day but everthing went well and we enjoyed our stay. The hotel was very clean and quiet for a New Year's Eve.

Everything was very nice one of the best hotels I have even been to. But we booked this location due to the hot tub...Once we got there I cked the hot tub and advised staff member that was not hot and that from a hot tub owner..needs to at least be above body temp to keep germs dorment. The hotel staff person looked at me like i was strange for requesting […] to turn up hotel.. We did get in later hopping would be hottier and it was not and even next day was cloudy and still very temped. Mehr

We came into L'ville to celebrate a belated Christmas & 3 Birthdays w/our son & his family. Because of GPS, location didn't really matter but price did. This was a wonderful bargain and considering how nice the room was, a wonderful surprise as well. The location was w/in walking distance of numerous restaurants and even close enough for a late night […] ice cream run! The staff was wonderful, especially Wendy. The only complaint, and it's not really the fault of the Hotel was that it was so crowded @ the pool & hot tub New Year's Eve I didn't get a chance to relax myself, even after waiting until after 10 pm. My husband and I recently stayed 3 nights at this Hilton in Louisville, KY. The room was super clean and the mattress was extremely comfortable. Hotel was convenient to all planned activities. All staff were courteous and efficient. The rooms were extremely clean, and the beds remarkably comfortable and slept well. The minor glitch with the room keys was taken care of quickly and to our satisfaction. We couldn't ask for better quality and service in a hotel!

Check-in clerk was most helpful. Two of our children and their families stayed in nearby rooms worked out by clerk. Everyone enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Very relaxing stay during a stressful time of year. Lobby very cozy and like home at Christmas.

All amenities just as they should be and a room that was recently remodeled. Will definitely try to book there again.

Gregat room! Great service! Great location! Great value! I would stay there anytime I visit Louisville again. Easy access to all major highways. Great choice of dining in the surrounding area as well.

We had to change rooms. first one, the adjustable beds would not go off of very firm! (Rock Hard) Refridgerator was wobbling almost out of holder space and sliding closet doors wouldn't work . maintenance fixed it right away, except beds! They changed rooms for us the next nigt because they said they didn't have any other rooms on Thursday night.,and […] beds were better, but I just don't like the Garden System Beds at ALL! The refridgerator was the same as first room. Maintenance fixed just ok Front desk lady wasn't freindly at all! she seemed to be bothered by complaint Mehr

Stay was good other than the heating unit of the room in which the maintenance person was able to cater to our needs. Please acknowledge him for a job well done.

Wonderful stay, friendly staff, clean facility. The 3rd floor had just been remodeled and I stayed in one of the rooms. Gorgeous, brand new decor, carpet, etc. Only the 3rd floor had been completed when I stayed. The others are to be done as well soon.

Our stay at the Hilton Garden Inn exceeded our expectations. The staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. The room and facilities were clean and attractive. The bed was so comfortable that it was easy to sleep in. We will look for other Hilton Garden Inns when we travel.

My family stayed in the hotel for a long weekend and found it to be very clean, friendly, and close to everything we needed. The only complaint was that the pool only had enough chairs for a few people and not enough pool towels.

Upon arriving, we were initially given a ground floor room. We specifically asked for a non-smoking king room. When we entered the room, there was an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke and a machine sitting on the table attempting to clear the air. We immediately asked for a different room and were given a room that had recently been updated/remodeled. […] Other than the smell of paint and hair in the shower, this room was much nicer. Mehr

Both the front desk staff and maid service were EXTREMELY helpful and polite.

Clean hotel and people who work there were so nice, but breakfast was $10. It looked like a hotel that included breakfast.

Overall Great experience

The entire staff was friendly and helpful! They really made us feel welcomed. While we were checking in, Wendy, one of the staff, gave us her own personal coupons from home to go out to dinner! Very clean hotel.

Great hotel, clean room, comfortable adjustable bed. I had a little trouble with the air conditioner but this was taken care of quickly. Full breakfast cooked to order on weekdays, but this costs $10. Very nice, clean room. I stayed 4 nights for NSRA Street Rod Nationals. Logans and Ruby Tuesdays next door.

The 2nd day of our visit, the maid knocked on our door 3 times after I told her to come back in an hour. WE left the hotel and about 1 1/2 hrs later, my husband had to go back to the room because he wasn't feeling well. The room had not been touched. He went to the front desk adn they got someone right on it. The point was that he shouldn't have to […] go to management. They did give us a complimentary breakfast, ( which we were told that they had complimentary breakfast anyway) and a few other items. We left a few extra dollars for housekeeping to leave a few extra towels and some ashtrays (smoking room with no ashtrays). We got neither. Hotels.com confirmed my reservation for a king, smoking. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that they only had 2 smoking rooms and both were ocuppied. According to their system, a room with two double beds were reserved, and they had no more kings. They were sympathethic to my complaints but could not honor the specific reservation. I've stayed at this hotel twice now, both for weddings and have been pleased both times. It's on the east end of town, which can be nice depending on where in the city you are trying to go. The rooms are nice. The room I had contained a king-size bed, which could be adjusted for comfort from soft to firm, depending on your preference. It also had a […] mini-fridge and microwave for leftovers or late night munchies. There are no vending machines on the floors, which is disappointing, just a small convenience store on the main floor. I found it to be over-priced for what you got. There is breakfast available in the morning, but I didn't try it. There are also beer and wine available into the evening. this hotel does have a pool and workout facility. It is located near a few restaurants, including a Logan's Roadhouse, and has easy access to I-64 to either drive into Louisville, or to Lexington for the day. It should be noted it is a little far from downtown, so if you're going to Fourth Street Live! (the downtown bar district), or the University of Louisville, or Churchill downs, be prepared for a drive. Overall, I enjoyed both my stays. Mehr

The people at the front desk and also housekeeping were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was also very clean. It was also only 15 minutes away from downtown Louisville. All in all a very nice hotel with excellent staff.

I went to visit my sister in Louisville from Chicago but since her place was cramped, my 5 year old and I stayed at the Garden Inn. It was a great location for us since my sisters was only a couple of miles down the road. We swam, ate breakfast and had the perfect time together!

I didn't think it was worth the money. The ceiling above the front desk leaked water. The toilet in my room was clogged when I got in there and they were short on staff. The manger that was there the night I checked in was there the next morning with a different shirt on.

Overall, this hotel is nice. However, I was tired and ready to go to bed and the hotel did not have any hot water. The front desk staff was helpful but it took three hours for this to be resolved. This hotel is in a very convenient location - close to restaurants and some shopping. It is clean and comfortable. I was on the first floor close to the lobby, so it was a bit noisy. The door had a 1/2 inch to one inch gap which let in more noise, so I would recommend that any doors with any gaps should be fixed or replaced. The employees were great, eager to help and efficient and friendly. They had a list of area eateries in the room that delivered with their menus. We very much enjoyed our stay.
