Wir verbrachten mit 6 Personen eine Nacht im Zimmertyp "Suite, 1 Zimmer, 2 Doppelbetten". Bestand aus 2 Räumen sowie Bad, 2 Kingsize-Betten und eine Klappsofa, Kochnische, kleiner Tisch mit 2 Stühlen. Klimaanlage war etwas laut, sonst ruhig trotz direkter Nähe zum Flughafen. Schöne Lage am See. Reichhaltiges Frühstück inclusive (u.a. Waffeln zum Selbstbacken […] mit Heidelbeeren). Montags bis Donnerstag wird auch ein kostenloses Dinner angeboten (kann ich nichts zu sagen, wir waren am Wochenende da). Flughafentransfer besteht, haben wir aber wegen Mietwagen nicht genutzt. Parkplatz am Haus. Supermarkt Publix um die Ecke, ebenso Schnellrestaurants. Mehr

sich in der Naehe des Flughafens ist jedoch sehr ruhig.Kompetentes Staff,saubere Zimmer,grosszugiges Morgenbuffet.Super!

Trotz Nähe zum Flughafen sehr ruhig (hatten ein Zimmer zur Seeseite). Gute Raumaufteilung mit Wohnbereich (Küche) und separatem Schlafzimmer. In unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Einkaufs- und Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten (Publix, Starbucks, etc.). Gratis Hotelbus zum Flughafen ist im Zimmerpreis inbegriffen (zur Sicherheit ev. kurz beim Hotel anrufen vom […] Ankunftsterminal aus). Mit Mietwagen sind die Hotspots von Miami vom Hotel aus schnell erreichbar (Miami Beach, Ocean Drive, usw.). Inbegriffenes Frühstück ist typisch amerikanisch. Mehr

Wir mussten etwas lange (ca. 20 Min) auf den Shuttle-Bus warten, dafür war dieser gratis. Die Fahrt zum Hotel dauert 5 Min. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind gross, sauber und mit einem separaten Wohnbereich und Küche. Es gab ein sehr gutes Frühstück. Ich kann dieses Hotel für einen Aufenthalt Nahe des Flughafens für […] eine Nacht sehr empfehlen. Länger würde ich nicht bleiben, da es in der Umgebung keine Möglichkeiten z.B. für einen Restaurantbesuch hat. Mehr

Hotel staff very friendly. nice lobby, good breakfast with fresh fruits and no plastic dishes. After complaining about the size of suite we were sold for 5 persons (definitely too small and not a fair sale) we were given complimentary upgrade to a two bed room suite by the manager which was very much appreciated. Stayed one night and was happy with the facilities. Free shuttle to and from airport, clean rooms, would recommend.

Enjoyed both stays at this hotel, Pleasant and helpful staff, clean rooms and located near shopping and dining. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

Good hotel, includes parking, breakfast and internet in the fare. All what you need to spend a few nights in miami if you are drving around the city and use it for spend the nights there

We arrived at airport in 2 groups, shuttle was pretty quick. 15 min for 1 group 30 for other. We reserved 2bedroom suite which was very nice. Stayed 1 night end of Jan. They got us in a little earlier than check-in time. Beds were comfortable. 2 bathrooms. Rooms were very clean. On side of airport which we heard but didn't keep any of us awake, just […] a city noise in the background. Staff was very helpful with taxi van service. We walked about 5 min to Starbucks, grocery, liquor and a couple of restraunts. We stayed prior to cruise so we had no prob getting to cruise with help of taxi service that works with this Homewood Suites. Everything went very smoothly. Mehr

I really enjoy my stay at Homwood suites. the staff was really nice, and the place nice and clean

The only catch is you have to go through the bathroom to the bedroom and the toilet and shower area are wide open. Should have a door or at least a curtain.

Excellent hotel, very clean and superb service level. Arrived early from a crusie ship arrival. Recepionist suggested we had some breakfast while waiting a couple of minutes to find if they had a room we could get immidiately. Had breakfast and got a beautiful suite overlooking the Blue Lagoon. As an added bonus they also have a Managers Reception […] every Mon-Thu where you get a meal and something to drink. Perfect!!! Mehr

We stayed there for 2 night, one of them being NYE. I must say the price was very reasonable and im sure if i would book it earlier it would be even cheaper. Hotel is located literally across the airport, but we did not hear any airplanes or the hightway( our windows were facing Dolphin HWY. Our room was extremely clean, and smelled fresh. It was very […] spacious too. They provide a free breakfast that includes some healthy options. We ate outside enjoying the view of a little pond and giant fish that swims in there. I guess thanks to their free breakfast and "generous" tourists fish is getting fed every day. The hotel is located 15 minutes away from SOBE and other popular destinations. The furniture in the room was really run down and needs to be replaced. Other than that the room was great and they also offer a free dinner. Will stay at this hotel again if we go on another cruise out of Miami.

I WAS A BIT SKEPTICAL AT FIRST NEVER STAYING AT A HOMEWOOD PROPERTY BUT WHEN WE PULLED UP I WAS ASSURED WHEN I SAW THE HILTON NAME CONNECTED WITH HOMEWOOD SUITES. UPON ARRIVAL WE WER MANY HOURS EARLY FOR CHECK IN AND THE FRONT OFFICE HELD ALL OF OUR BAGS (ASWELL AS OUR PARENTS BAGS ASWELL WHO WERE FLYING OUT THAT AFTERNOON.) EXTREMLY NICE PEOPLE AND […] WELL APPOINTED AND SPACIOUSE ROOMS OVERLOOKING A LAKE OUT THE BACK (REQUEST THESE ROOMS ) THE OTHER SIDE OVERLOOKS THE NEAR HWY AND DISTANT AIRPORT. Nice hotel. Some airport noise but not bad. Comlimentary dinner and breakfast were very good.

The hotel itself is great - nice big rooms (ours was a one-bedroom suite), free breakfast including a waffle maker and fresh fruit, free dinner on weeknights, free parking. Reasonably well-maintained, too. For light sleepers, the noise from the airport will be a huge drawback, but for us it was great because our two-year-old son loved watching the planes […] take off and land. The big problem with this hotel (for vacationers, at least) is the surrounding neighborhood is just awful. Unless you feel like crashing the Hilton's property, there are no parks, grocery stores, walking trails, coffee shops, eateries, ... anything, really ... within a quarter mile. The nearest grocery store is a (kind of scary) Publix about a half mile away, and the nearest park is over a mile and a half from the hotel. It's too bad that there isn't either more to do around the airport or a Homewood near downtown or South Beach, because staying in this hotel in its location means getting in a car and fighting traffic and tolls on the Dolphin Expressway to do anything at all. Very nice and clean hotel. Good 1 bedroom suite and breakfast. Our maintenance request was resolved in 5 min. Surrounding lagoon provided good sites from the room.

We booked a two bedroom suite to meet friends coming in from Finland, and returned to send them back. The suite was large, comfortable,and clean. Both suites had a view of the lagoon, with the suite provided the second night being especially lovely in terms of the view of downtown Miami and the lagoon as it was on the top floor. We arrived just in time […] to watch the sun set from one of our windows. The buffet breakfast was plentiful, and was well supervised to ensure that everything was running smoothly. Our second night we could have enjoyed a complimentary small dinner buffet with wine and beer. There is an outside pool and whirlpool, too. We will return to Homewood Suites the next time we are meeting friends at the Miami airport, as there is no need to look any further for a really good suite hotel. Mehr

Excellent facilities and location!

We spent the night while awaiting the arrival of our friends from Finland late in the evening The hotel was comfortable, and our two bedroom suite met our needs perfectly. The breakfast buffet was very adequate, and the view from our windows of the lagoon was enjoyable. Our friends commented particularly on the very considerate van driver who picked […] them up at the airport; he was versed in three languages and very thoughtful and polite. We were satisfied, and will return in a couple of weeks to return our Finnish friends to the airport for their flight back! Good place to stay in transit! Mehr

Very clean, very friendly hotel. Great breakfast to start your day. Enjoyed the pool and hot tube. Shuttle service was a bonus. Would stay again next time in Miami.

we stay after a cruise for one night. This is a good place to stay. Clean and verry goog breakfast.

I travel to Miami a few times per year for business. On this particular trip, my flight was late and the rental car GPS did not work. Realizing I was lost, I called the hotel to ask for help/directions. The male person whom I spoke with said I had to get on the 836E. When I replied I had no idea where the 836E was he repeated his first statement. Period, […] no further help was offered. As part of the " Hilton family " I expect a bit more concern and assistance for your guests. Had I not have been able to call my family at home to ask that they mapquest directions, who knows if I would have ever made it to the hotel. Never experienced this level of lack of concern from a hotel. Mehr

Arrived after 10 days in Peru. We had dinner and wine without leaving the hotel and had a great nights sleep. Staff very helpful and suite was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This was the perfect place to stay after flying into Miami. We had 5 people and the space worked great. Really comfy beds and breakfast too!

This is a nice hotel the only problem we had was its over 100 degree weather outside and the AC wasn't working properly. It took them all day to finally to decide to move us to another room.

Probably this hotel is not a resort but it is a three almost four star hotel. I stayed on a two room suite equipped with a full kitchen. Medium size refrigerator, 4 burners, sink, and dishwasher. Some previous complaints about old style TVs were heard. When I entered my room it had a couple of forty plus LCD LG Television sets almost brand new. This […] hotel complies with every Homewood Suites standard. If you have stayed at a homewood suite in the past, you will know what I'm talking about. The only thing that I really found disappointing was the pool which had salt water and was not crystal clear. We tried to use it, but it is hard to stay a long time in there because of these conditions. I could not experience any discomforts due to noisy airplanes previously reported. I slept very well my four nights. Lagoon view is beautiful. I recommend you take that side of the hotel. You will really need to rent a vehicle or come in one in order to take advantage of its location. Even though the hotel is centrally located in the city, it is still about 15 to 30 mins away from the bay and another 15 mins from south beach. Since my activities required to travel to every side of the city, it really worked fine with me. But there isn't really any locations to go by walking. Mehr

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are cleaned daily. Breakfast is provided everyday. The bed is very comfortable. Staff is very helpful and pleasant. Only thing to be aware of charges for local phone calls.

We had checked so many hotels in Miami before making a final decision as to where to spend part of our vacation. Homewood lived up to its clean standards, the rooms where well maintained, spacious and clean. The hotel location is well situated near the airport and with easy access to the Dolphin Expressway. Breakfast and an evening meal were included […] as well. Food was good. The view of the lagoon was an added bonus. I would definitely visit again as well as recommend to friends and family. Mehr

This was a nice hotel. Clean with very friendly staff. Also when staying during the week, a light dinner is provided in addition to hot breakfast. That was a nice added bonus. Location from airport is great, but nothing else is really close by as far as restaurants and shopping. That was the only negative.

After looking at the other reviews here, the 1 tip that would seem to make the biggest difference is to request a room facing the lagoon which is on the opposite side of the hotel facing away from the airport runways. This will both give you a nicer view and reduce any issues with airplane noise.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL IF YOU ARE NOT TRYING TO BE TOO CLOSE TOO DOWNTOWN MIAMI OR SOUTH BEACH. NICE LOCATION RIGHT NEXT TO THE AIRPORT. I NICE 15 MINUTE TO MANY ATTRACTIONS. BEST THING ABOUT THE HOTEL WAS THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST AND DINNER. YES, DINNER! THE ONLY THING IS THAT THEY SERVE DINNER BETWEEN 5:30-7:30 BUT REGARDLESS IT IS VERY […] GENEROUS. FOOD WAS EXCELLENT. STAFF WAS VERY NICE AND HELPUL. ROOM WAS HUGE AND BIGGER THAN WE EXPECTED. HAD ITS OWN LITTLE LIVING ROOM AND KITCHEN. The advertising is true, Homewood Suites is a perfect second home

Near the end of 6 week trip from Australia (you have to make travel from Australia count as it is so far) we stayed 2 nights at Homewood Suites near Miami International. This was booked at very reasonable price through Hotels.com some months before. Everything was as expected/desired. Full kitchen which all worked, comfortable clean quiet rooms, helpful […] staff & free shuttle as required to airport. Absolutely recommend this Homewood but booking ahead is essential - word has got around about the value & convenience. Mehr

This hotel was a great find. We will stay here in the future. The hotel was in good condition and the breakfast was fantastic.
