NH Atlanta Brussels - Brüssel

Sehr gutes Stadthotel. Einziges kleines Problem: Es war nass und kalt in Brüssel und die Heizung des Hotels funktionierte nur "auf Sparflamme". Es war zwar nicht kalt im Zimmer, aber ordentlich warm leider trotz Nachjustierung auch nicht.

Sehr sauberes Hotel, guter Service, Zimmer sehr sauber und gepflegt. Gute Lage, viele Sehenswürdigkeiten direkt in der Nähe. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Schönes Hotel: Wir hatten ein Deluxe-Zimmer mit zwei Zustellbetten – völlig ausreichend vom Platz für eine Familie. Das Zimmer sah sehr gepflegt aus und war sauber. Schönes, großes Bad, etwas hellhörig, aber nicht störend. Vom Hotel aus kann man die Innenstadt von Brüssel bequem zu Fuß erkunden. Wer mit dem Auto kommt, sollte aber vorher fragen, wo […] er parken kann, denn in der Straße vor dem Hotel bekommt man kaum einen Parkplatz. Mehr

Hotel ist prima, allein die Damen an der Rezeption nicht sehr auf Zack und wenig hilfsbereit.

The reception staff was not very interested in helping to find me a room with a double bed (instead of twion beds). No hotel manager was available to talk to in the evening.

This is a hotel which is meant to cater for business people. The WiFi service and signal is unacceptably slow for a business hotel ( 20 minutes to connect on their WiFi network is not a way to do business).The front desk staff were very unhelpful in this regard. If they seriously want to market themselves to business guests then this is the first thing […] that they need to invest money in. If they sort this out it would be an excellent choice of hotel which I can recommend. Mehr

Nice room, good bed and large bathub on request. Therefore big disappointment due to cold water also for shower while warm water available for handwash! Breakfast ended early. I have otherwise experienced more forthcoming receptions than this one.

I selected this hotel based on past experiences of staying at NH hotels and the good gym. However, the hotel was let down by excessive heating in both the room and the gym. For similar prices you can find better hotels with in-room temperature control, better selection of breakfast and more up-to-date rooms.

Great hotel, great location, great staff but I will never stay here again due to their super expensive in-room wifi - how can you justify internet service costing 25% of a night's stay???????

The hotel has a very limited free service and claims very high extra charges: I arrived at 11:30 - Access to my room was only possible against a charge of 10€ per hour before 14.00. (I would have accepted an rejection because of non availibility before 14:00 Internet in room was exorbitant expensive - almost 11€ for 24 hours and the connection could […] not be logged of for later use. Internet in noisy lobby is free but you must use log-ins of a limited period of 30 minutes, i.e. with interruptions City tax was not included in the hotel price even though the "full price" was prepaid with Master card. No information about this in the receipt. A reservation for "other things" of 50 € was claimed in spite of the "full payment" with Master card. By check-out 4€ was charged for use of minibar in spite of a clear "NO" to the question as to the use of the minibar. - It was quite time consuming to correct this mistake on the spot. Mehr

My experience with hotel was very positive. The staff was polite and friendly, and the room was comfortable and very clean. Would definately stay there again.

I was looking forward to returning to the Atlanta since my last visit several years' ago. Now I wish I had stayed elsewhere. The receptionist checked me into the hotel adding another name before my surname. It wasn't an innocent mistake, because this extra name changed my name to something that I consider a mockery. The hotel reception confirmed that […] I had been incorrectly checked in and did remove the joke name, but they blamed the computer for adding it in the first place. I told them that this was just childish. The room I stayed it looked worn. The ceiling was badly cracked and the toilet had a bad limescale stain. The breakfast which was not included in the room price, was an overpriced 23 euros. The saugage and scrambled eggs were lukewarm even though I arrived for breakfast at 7.30am. Overall, not what I would have expected from a 4 star hotel. I won't be returning. Mehr

I will definitely go back - Great room, right in the heart of the city. Inexpensive and clean!

The location is fantastic - but if you travel during winter months, there's no control of the room temperature....stiffling hot during my visit and no means to open the window to reduce the temperature in the room. Hot water was non-existent between 10 am and noon on the weekends - so be prepared!

This Hotel is in the room part of town, unless your lookingfor sex shops and its a short walk to the red light district. Date, in need of modernistion, no for me..

Great location (super close to a metro station). Nice surrounding neighborhood. Friendly staff. Only inconvenience was the low speed of the internet.

Nice Hotel.Very spacious room, and bathroom (bathroom needs Regrouting) considering european standars. Very convenient to La Grande Placen, and La Gare du Nord. Meaning walking distane between 7 to 10 minutes. Restaurants, cinemas , stores all around the Hotel. I would definetly stay there again, and recomend as well.

High quality 4 star hotel in great location. Very clean room, very quiet at night. Good gym! Even better breakfast offering. Def. recommended.

The staff had a bad attitude in general. I had to get a new key for my room 6 times in 2 days. Seems they can't code a key properly. I was told by one manager I was having problems because I was supposed to check out and I didn't. Funny thing was that happened on the day I checked in. We were only in this hotel for 1 night enroute to Paris, but would have loved to have this same hotel room throughout our stay in Europe. The room is quite large and has a big bathroom. Service was great at the front desk and it is not far from some of the sights in the city. Breakfast expensive, but they always are the hotels. Very accomodating and great to deal with!

Nice seized rooms. Close to the center and especially shopping, although can be a bit noisy. Staff was friendly, but could improve. Room was not ready until 4pm and getting in and out the parking garage was a real challenge (28 Euro/ night). You get 30 minutes of free wifi in the lobby.....All together a very good hotel, but they clearly can work on […] the little things. Mehr

We visited this hotel as a family of 5. The hotel is very modern and has large rooms with clean - brand new - bathrooms. The staff is super-courteous and helpful. As far as location, it can't be beat. It is located near the main shopping plaze in cetral Brussels. It is a short walk to the Grand Place. We spent a night and it was very comfortable. The location was central, we walked to all the places we wanted to visit. I would recommend this hotel.

We are a family of 4 with 2 kids under 10. The Hotel Staff had already set up our room when we arrived with the extra beds for the kids. The hotel was conveniently located near a subway station and is walking distance from the Grand Platz and the Manneken Pis. It is very close to restaurants and shopping. Nice central hotel, don`t plan on walking from theCentralstation or Brussel Noord, we were told it was a 5-10 minutes walk, it was allmost 30 min.

The hotel was in a very good location, however my room was really overheated, and I was informed that no airconditioning because it was the wrong season. I requested a fan, and it was dumped in my room without being plugged in, and did not work when the lights were turned off. The windows were locked and could not be opened. A nice hotel, very close to downtown. Clean. 2 adults and 2 small children in a 4 person room that I'd call somewhat cramped; 2 cots and a double bed. No view. Fantastic gym. Good breakfast buffet included in the rate. Responsive staff. Parking is 28 Euro / day. All and all, its a place I'd stay again with my family.

This hotel is very convenient to the north station in Brussels. If you book a single, expect a tiny room, but a good value in an expensive city.Close to good shopping, grand place, etc. -- breakfast is a joke and over priced.

Great hotel. Excellently located by major metro stop, commercial/tourist center, restaurants. Loved being on the inside courtyard. Altho, airconditioning unit and room ducts were noisey. I liked that the light bulb in the lamp by the bed was a compact florescent. But the hotel could go further with being eco friendly by putting signs in rooms saying […] "If you want your towels changed put them on the floor". and "If you want your sheets changed, place this sign on your pillow". Hôtel très bien situé, bon accueil, chambre très propre et calme. Petit déjeuner très varié et à volonté. Profiter des promotions week-end, c'est très intéressant. Je ne connaissais pas cette chaîne hôtelière mais je reviendrai. A recommander +++

Vi bodde på NH Atlanta Brussel under en helg och var till stor del nöjda med det. Bra rum, välstädat, stor och god frukostbuffé. Dock var personalen inte särskilt bra på engelska och när vi checkade in fick jag uppge kreditkortnummer för deposition. Inget konstigt med det egentligen,många hotell som gör på samma sätt. Men det jag är besviken på är att […] jag, 4 dagar efter utcheckningen inte har fått tillbaka pengarna, även om de sa att de skulle ske omgående. Något annat som var en besvikelse var tilläggsavgiften som skulle betalas vid utcheckning, "citytaxes" fick vi veta, men mer än så kunde de inte förklara. Inte för att avgiften var särskilt dyr, men det var mer en principsak. Ingen sa någonting om det vid incheckning och ingen kunde förklara varför den skulle betalas vid utcheckning. Ett annat minus var att minibaren var tom och kylskåpet inte fungerade. Visserligen hade jag inte tänkt ta någonting ur minibaren ändå, men står det att det ska finnas så bör det ju göra det också.
