Weiträumige, klimatisierte Zimmer mit neu renoviertem Bad. Mit Kühlschrank und Kaffeemaschine, leider ohne Geschirr oder wenigstens Besteck. Flachbildfernseher mit an die 100 Kabelfernsehkanäle. Bushaltestelle an der nächsten Straßenkreuzung. Brampton Terminal mit Bahn- und Busverbindung nach Toronto ist außerdem in einer knappen halben Stunde zu Fuß erreichbar. In direkter Umgebung: Shoppers Drug Mart und Taco Bell.

"Beautiful hotel!"
The Hotel is beautiful! Very clean and we felt very special. The service was great and lots to do in the area. The hotel is connected to the PATH which is a great convenience. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.
I used my miles to book this hotel and thought I was "steppin"up but as it turned out hotel was somewhat shabby compared to other hotels in downtown I've stayed at for half the price! Lobby and service was nice but room condition was terrible.Starting to think hotels put me in "old" section because I use discount sights to book.

This hotel was great except that there was NO INTERNET included (of course you could've had internet activated for $15-$30!!) That's just insane in this day and age! Otherwise the hotel was great.

Great location. Across from union station. Several ways to get to the airport. 'Downtown' is all walking distance...underground or outside. Staff was EXCELLENT!

Everything you could want in a fine hotel and much much more. There is a feeling of royalty and charm that is both preserved and updated. Dinner at Epic was top notch. The Library bar makes you feel like a movie star of days past. Wonderful from start to finish!
"Close to ACC in Toronto and sights"
Upon arrival everything was excellent, the only thing was my room was not prepared. The last guest left the privacy notice on the door knob, so beds were not made and room service was still there. "Had to wait 3 hours to check in"
We usually love fairmonts across Canada but this was our first time at Toronto's fairmont. We had to wait until 6 pm to get our room! Customer service surrounding this was terrible!! Shocking and soo disappointed. We had a small child and so it was worse to wait that long :(

"Royal York Hotel in Downtown Toronto - elegance!"
Only two issues - the exterior of the hotel is being restored, so the grinder tools began at 9:00am - very loud and annoying,... and the room was not finished being cleaned. Our exterior renovations have impacted a small number of guestrooms (mostly large suites) and our agents should review this during check-in to ensure that we avoid any possible disturbance. The room doors are solid wood but allow every sound from the hallways into the room. Very poor for sleeping, I won't return to this hotel.

I am surprised that this hotel charges $16.00 per night for internet use. Many hotels I have stayed at include this service as part of the room charge. I would think that a four star hotel such as this would include it. There is a lack of information available in the room regarding restaurants and points of interest. Enrolment is complimentary and can be completed online—we suggest that guests contact the hotel prior to arrival to add their membership number to their hotels.com reservations. For non-members there is a $13.95 charge for standard internet access. My husband and I just returned from a quick weekend getaway and decided to stay at the Royal York. Location was perfect as we were going to catch a Basketball game at the ACC center. 5 minute walk was all it tok to get there. We loved the underground shopping area and the easy access to other shopping areas like the Eaton center. The location is very […] close to the St Lawrence Market, which has lots of food and items on Saturdays. As for the staff, very friendly and accomodating. The only drawback from this hotel is the condition of some of the rooms. Our bathroom was far from ideal, however it worked. The Bed was clean and that's all that really mattered to us. "Fairmont Royal York in Toronto"
I was a little upset after I left the hotel. I realized that a $100 deposit was taken off of my VISA for incidentals; I was not told about this deposit and am upset that I have to wait a few days before getting it back. Other than this, my stay at the hotel was fantastic and I would go back there again.

Consistent with most hotels in Toronto, we hold a $100/night deposit to cover any incidentals that may be charged to your room during your visit (for example, in room dining, parking and phone calls). Any unused funds are released during check-out and while this is instantaneous with many cards, some credit card providers take a few business days to release the funds (this is especially true in the case of pre-paid cards). We will follow up with our front desk as this process should always be explained as your credit card is swiped on arrival. We are so sorry for the inconvenience.

Classic hotel, great service, rooms are smaller due to age but are well appointed. King bed fit fine with 2 chairs and a desk. Hotel Barber was great, ask for Katherine.

"Great Stay"
I didn't know much about Toronto, but was told that the Fairmont was a nice place to stay. I had a great time, the staff were very helpful, and the location was perfect for the full downtown experience. The receptionist took the time to give me a tourist map along with a map that highlighted the many underground tunnels. The hotel itself is also very […] nice incorporating the 1920's art deco style along with all the modern conveniences. My wife and I joked that it reminded us of the hotel in Ghost Busters. The service was excellent. The condition of the room was needing some repairs. The room was overpriced for what it was.
"Missing in-room coffee"
Everything was good except that there was no coffee pot in the room so I had to get dressed in order to get my first cup of coffee

How long will this take the only thing inconvience was that you cannot get to the parking garage hope that this do not take long
We are located across the street from Union Station where a revitalization project is currently underway. While there are some lane closures in the area surrounding the hotel, our valet entrance remains fully accessible during this time. We update the driving directions on our website in accordance with this project and additional information can be obtained through the TTC's website.

"great hotel , dissapointing rooms"
hotel and services were great but the room was extremely out of date and small. have stayed at several hotels in the area with much nicer and larger rooms for far less. Wont be going back again
"Cramped rooms without any sound barriers"
The rooms are tiny. The neighbours were up all night yelling and swearing and their noise kept us up all night. Then in the morning the neighbours on the other side of us were making noises we could hear EVERYTHING! Have stayed there before, and knew rooms were small, but the noise was unbearable. The location is a bit removed from most attractions, but it is fairly central, and the posh atmosphere is enjoyable. In terms of proximity, it is a quick cab ride or drive to most places you may wish to visit (it is near the public transit system as well.) The hotel is quite comfortable, though the rooms are not particularly large. My only real complaint […] is that it was difficult to find parking on my own. I would have had the valet do it but the lineup was enormous and they weren't moving particularly quickly. Mehr
"Very Accomodating"
Great hotel, treated with class, and the best pizza hut I've ever had. Upon checkout, Valet parking was 20 minutes late, but they were busy. Not the best 4 star hotel but close thanks to its great service.

"Showing its Age"
Great Location - some stand out service but it is starting to show its age and I am starting to prefer modern and sleek to old and grand. The location is outstanding and the hotel has a special place in my heart so I will return but would always recommend with that caveat

We had an overnight stay. The room was quiet, comfortable bed, nicely updated. Check-in was quick and simple. Valet service took less than 5 minutes. The Fairmont met our expectations. We would stay there on our next trip.

We were not aware that the hotel was under rennovations, the pool and hot tub were unavailable for use although they offered use of a pool and hot tub at near by locatins not as cnvenient as on site. Room was clear however hair dryer and tv wre broken. Staff was very courteous and repaired tv right away and replaced hair dryer. To maximize the value of the health club and fitness centre experience, we close this area for a few weeks each year to conduct preventative maintenance, deep cleaning and an overall “refresh”. We are so sorry for the inconvenience this caused. The pool is now open with no planned closures in the immediate future.
