Holiday Inn Express Convention Center - Fort Lauderdale

Um an den Strand zu kommen muss man ein Auto haben. Leider hat das Hotel keinen Pool aber das weiss man ja bei der Buchung. Die Zimmer sind sauber und die Betten o.k. Das Hotel weist den bekannten Holiday Inn Komfort aus.

Excellent Hotel! Great service! Also, the bed was really comfortable and it was really close to Port Everglades, which is great if leaving on a cruise. We will definitely stay there again when in Fort Lauderdale.

Very comfortable, friendly staff, decent breakfast and good location for walking to shopping and restaurants, fairly close to the Water Taxi also

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was not very clean and had a huge wet mark on the carpet. The faucet in the shower sprayed everywhere but on the person in the shower. The stairway smelled really bad and musty.

Great location for cruising. Older hotel rooms but updated lobby and bathrooms in the hotel room. Clean and comfortable, good breakfast in the morning.

We recently stayed at this Holiday Inn for the second time. Both times we were going on a cruise and arrived a day early. Our first stay at this hotel was so great we decided to come back again. They are so accommodating and friendly. Their breakfast is very good as well. The attendant was always right there to make sure everything was refilled. Rooms […] are very nice and clean. The hotel staff will arrange transportation to the port if you are cruising. We will go back and cruise next year and we will for sure stay at this hotel. The beds were stained and body hairs were left in the bed. Use your imagination. After switching to two different rooms. The beds were the same in both rooms. If u don't care about ur bed being clean you wouldn't mind it. Me never again.

The holiday inn express was amazing! Honestly it was. I work for La Quinta Inns & Suites and we completely fail in comparison to the holiday inn and every other hotel to be exact. Makes me think I'm representing the wrong company which I am. Hire me lol. But the staff, breakfast, room & service I revieved was amazing. Thank you.

The hotel was newly redecorated and had a posh vib going on. The staff at the reception was most accommodating, so much so we wrote a recommendation to the hotel manangement. The beds had adjusting night reading lights that would not disturb others trying to sleep. It was located close to shopping and restaurants. Overall it was a great value.

This hotel is situated in a very accessable and is convieniant to everthything. So it takes no time to get to the beach, great shopping areas, and restaurants. Several restaurants within walking distance. Just around corner and down the street from the port. Recommend this hotel.

It's a nice and confortable and clean hotel , but i hope the kinds of the breakfast there would be much more .

We stayed in the Holiday Inn because it was near the Broward Convention Center. What we found was a friendly staff, very nice rooms , good hot breakfast. The staff exceded all my expectations and the hotel was close to many restaurants, "walking distance". Overrall I would stay again and recomend this hotel.

This hotel offers a fair value for people wanting a place to stay before starting and/or ending a cruise.

I was at a trade show at the Broward County convention center. It was an 8 minute walk to the convention center. Their free shuttle service back and forth to the airport is a nice amenity

This may not be the ritziest, but the staff & convenience sure makes up the difference! Gloria, the manager, greeted every guest heartily when she saw them throughout the day. Not only that, but she remembered details about each guest. We were stuck in Ft. Lauderdale after a cruise due to Irene. The hotel is just a few blks from the port. There's a […] Publix supermarket a blk or so away. It came in handy with the unexpected 4 days we had to spend there. It's a very convenient location! I liked the hotel, and the staff was great, but there were some issues. 1. The AC compressor in the room was old and loud. I slept great, as I can sleep through a bomb blast, but my wife couldn't sleep at all. 2. Free Wifi is great, when it works. It didn't in the room. I had to go down to the lobby to get internet. This hotel is a good value and located in an area where you can walk to a number of places to eat instead of having to grab a cab. In addition, if there are more than 2 people in your party, take a cab to the cruise terminal (about $15 with tip) versus $32 for a family of four to take the hotel shuttle.

This was in a great location if you are flying out of Fort Lauderdale airport. Unfortunately it rained the day I was there but it seemed like a nice enough area to hangout.

Good hotel, a bit pricey for what it offers but I needed the convenience of being close to the conference center.

Good location, somewhat expensive for what you get. Nice rooms and responsive staff. Walking distance to many restaurants and shopping.

This is a convenient place to stay if you're attending something at the Convention Center...within easy walking distance...Be sure to try the French Bakery nearby...excellent food (though the service is far from stellar!)

When travelling without a vehicle at your disposal, this is a great location. Shopping, restaurants, water taxi, shuttle to mall, are all there. Close to the airport, as well as the ships if you're going on a cruise. Not a fancy location, but comfortable. Good morning breakfast provided.

We were very satisfied with this Holiday Inn Express and was typical of an above average motel of this type. The rooms were very comfortable. The complimentary airport shuttle and included breakfast were appreciated. They offered a shuttle to the cruise terminal for a reasonable price which was about 10 min away. We were looking for a good place to stay one night before we had to go to the airport. We had been in Florida for a few days. This hotel did the trick.

For our convention week, this hotel was very expensive. On the other hand, it was much nicer than what I expected. Also, walking distance to the Convention Center.

This is a clean hotel with an accomodating staff. However, the building could use refurbishing and the breakfast room was too small for the number of rooms. We actually took a pass on the breakfast food and went to a restaurant. All in all, not too bad for the price.

We found this hotel clean & comfortable, and only minutes from our cruise terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful. AlTho we paid a charge to shuttle to the cruise terminal, the shuttle was efficent and quick.

Spent one night prior to going on a cruise the next day. Had a Mediterranean dinner within walking distance. Complimentary breakfast was delicious. Pleasantly surprised to have a shuttle pick up from hotel to harbor. And, a week later, have the shuttle pickup from harbor to airport. How convenient.

The front desk clerk on evening shift upon arrival was very helpful and check-in was quick and easy. The next days departure to the cruise terminal was also very good. However, it is best to book your shuttle time the night before. Upon return from our cruise, we returned for 2 nights to this hotel. Unfortunately, that stay was not as seamless or welcoming […] as we were unable to get into a room until 3:00 pm, even though we arrived at the hotel at 10:30 am from our cruise ship. The woman at the front desk at that time kept telling us that check in is 3:00 pm. With so many people checking out when we arrived to go on cruises, it was disappointing that the turnaround time for cleaning staff to get these rooms available in a reasonable amount of time for new guests was so slow. It was as if the cleaning staff didn't start their shift until 11:00 am, the time guests have to check out of their rooms. If this is the case, maybe an earlier start to room cleaning is something that should be addressed. It is a disappointment for those guests who, rather than fly straight home, plan to spend their last day enjoying Fort Lauderdale and are left sitting in a hotel lobby for most of the day waiting for their room to be ready. Also, be aware, the hotel can't give you a safety deposit box to put your things in until you are checked into a room either. I've stayed at Holiday Inns many times before during busy summer seasons and have found it to be highly unusual to have to wait so long for a room unless you are a drop-in client. Our hotel room was booked months in advance. Further, our room when it became available had sporadic WiFi. We had to use their computer in the lobby to check our mail instead. Otherwise the rooms were very clean, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was satisfying, but the area is busy and most times we could not find a seat and wound up bringing breakfast to our room instead. This hotel was very convenient ly located from the airport. Breakfast was good. Someone left dirty clothes in the drawer from a previous stay. Room 312. Room was clean other than that. Would stay again if traveling in that area.

The personnel were extremely friendly. I especially appreciated the complimentary breakfast and airport shuttle, and the convenience of the trolley right in front of the hotel which dropped us off in front of the beach, shopping stores, shopping mall, and restaurants. The little notes in my hotel room were very nice. They made me feel as though they […] really cared about their customers. The room was also very clean and the beds were very comfortable. I definitely will recommend this hotel to others, especially for the surprisingly great price that Holiday Inn charges. The price definitely was well worth it! Mehr
