I reserved 2 rooms at the Holiday Inn Express, in Dillard, Ga. for our Thanksgiving holiday. It is centrally located to points of interest that we enjoy visiting in the mountains. Even more important, is its close proximity to the Dillard House, and the fantastic food, especially during the holidays. Easy to access location in a pleasant setting. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was well prepared. We would stay here again if in the area.

Great service and very friendly people.

Hotel was great. The lady at check-in could not have been any nicer. Room was clean,comfortable and up to date. Very convenient location. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and good price. Centrally located for visiting Highlands, NC. and Dillard, GA. Good place for a short trip to get away.

Well maintained older property, that was close to the activities in the tri-state area of North Carolina, Georgia & South Carolina.

A well kept and maintained motel, economical with a better than average breakfast, but not the center of activity. Only complaint is noisy air conditioner.

booked through hotels.com for a non-smoking two queen room. upon arriving, after a 6 hr drive, we were given a smoking room that was in poor shape. there was a half-eaten box of chicken on the table along with empty bottles and an ashtray full of ashes. the garbage can was also full. When i tried to call the front desk, i found out the phone didn't […] work either. when we went to the front desk, charlie, the front desk rep quickly placed us in another appropriate room, but the phone in that room was broken also. I asked if we cound get another room at a discounted price for all the inconvinence we had gone through because we had brought another person and needed another bed. she said she couldn't do that but she would leave a message with the morning asst manager and i could talk to her. the next morning i got the same thing, they didnt have the authority to do anything.. next i talked to another asst manager who said she would call the general manager. he could not be reached until i told her i was going to post a neg review and then she was able to get him! That was a waste of time because all he offered was an "im sorry". I hope this saves someone a lot of grief and stress on their vacation. Mehr

room is very smelly and there is spiders in the bath room i infrom the frontdesk nothing was address . when i checking in frondesk fat man is very rude and unfriendly

VERY PLEASENT STAY WILL STAY AGAIN

We only stayed one night, but the staff was very friendly and accomodating and the room was clean. Would stay again if the occastion arose.

Just needed a room for the night- the room was fine, but the hotel was full and there was a good bit of noise throughout the night from other guests. Breakfast was a disaster- too many people crammed into a small enclosed room with no AC. There was nowhere to sit and you could not get to the food line. There was a pool but we didn't use it.

Everyone at the hotel was wonderful. We were there because of storm damage to our nearby home and the staff could not have been nicer or more concerned.

The accommodations were excellent. Room size was fine and the bed was one of the most comfortable we have found away from home. The bathroom is roomy and we had plenty of hot water. The pool was wonderful. Breakfast was very good and all aspects of the Holiday Inn were first class.

We ended up with a smoking room because the hotel was at full occupancy during the Labor Day holiday. The room was very smokey and we sprayed air and fabric fresheners to try to reduce the odor, but to no avail. Otherwise everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was quite good with scrambled eggs, bacon, french toast, etc.

We had tickets to see a concert in Franklin, NC, at the Smoky Mountain Performing Arts Center. The hotel in Dillard was close, convenient, and very nice. We were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful breakfast provided. The hotel room was clean and comfortable.

Hotel was in good condition and even though we had to take a smoking room, it was not obvious. The only negative was that the wireless internet is too weak to reach the end of the building where our room was located. Good strong signal in the lobby however.

We had a great stay, everything went well. The room was perfect and I can't say anything against the hotel at all. We needed an extra night but they were booked... but this happens anywhere and we didn't specify before checking in. Great friendly service!

Great service, clean, plus indoor pool and breakfast

Very nice staff. Extremely comfortable room and beds. Small but very nice pool and hot tub. Very nice breakfast selection.

This hotel was just OK. Our room had a bit of a musty odor, beds were very firm and breakfast was marginal. There are few choices of hotels in Dillard but I think I would try another one if I were to return.

Staff was extremely helpful and went out of thier way to assist us. Very impressive

We enjoyed our three days at the Holiday Inn. Nice pool, 4-1/2 ft. and a little small but indoor and very clean with hot tub. The room was very clean, large,and a comfortable bed. They have a wonderful breakfast - better than most I have seen. Their health dept. score was 100-A. Their greatest assest was the people. The Holiday Inn Express was a wonderful place to stay. Quality room, great "hot" breakfast, great quiet location, and wonderful staff. Will be back next years!

Nice, friendly staff. Clean, spacious room. In-door pool was great. Good continential breakfast. No complaints at all about this hotel.
