Sauber - grosse Zimmer - englisches Frühstück. 1A Hotel. Lage etwas ausserhalb, jedoch einfach mit Bus erreichbar.

The hotel itself was absolutely fine - clean, comfortable, friendly staff, excellent breakfast. Recommended. The surrounding area isn't very appealing, but the hotel is next to 2 convenient eating establishments - one is a McDonald's (love it or hate it, you know what you'll get), the other is the a pub called "The Bandstand". We decided to eat at the […] pub, as it looked fine from the outside, but ended up having probably the worst dining out experience, ever. This isn't a review of the pub, but if you value your stomach (or any other part your body / soul), I'd definitely stay away from it - stick to the hotel itself and you'll be fine! Mehr

great hotel, stayed for two nights while attending friends wedding. breakfast was good and well stocked. the only downside was the shower was not enclosed, meaning the majority of the shower room covered in water! otherwise, great and no major problem. local taxi service good value and reliable.

Ideal location close but Central to Manchester, very helpful & happy staff, my room was clean & comfortable with all you require for your stay. Would recommend for lone female safe & secure.

I am a business woman and need to stay at locations near meetings and events. I would not recommend this for other businesswomen as I had two incidents where male guests, seeing I was alone, made inappropriate remarks. Pleasant experience. Good breakfast provided.. kids enjoy their stay. Rooms not as spacious as what we have in the US.. very good overall.

First class accomodation for the price.

A comfortable budget hotel with very helpful staff conveniently situated in a suprisingly quiet location. The rooms were very clean and perfectly adequate. The buffet breakfast, whilst limited in choice, was of good quality and plentiful. The only possible negative was that wifi access was not free. Room was perfectly adequate for one night stay for 2 adults and 2 kids although could have used a couple more pillows. I made a booking for a double bed and paid fully afternoon of 31.12.2011. When I got there I was offered a twin room in return. I raised the concern with the hotel manager and I was told there was no double. Why did you take my booking if there was no double I asked. We offereing you twin instead he replied. Isn't silly and unprofessional misleading […] people and trying just to get them in? It's like going to restuarant ordering lamb for dinner and they bring you beef instead because they ran out of lamb. Had I been told that there was no double I would have tried other alternatives. However I think this is not right, hotel should have been honest with people. Another important point which was casue for concern: I left my credit card by the reception for food and drink (open tab) after 1:00 am on new years day the stop serving because the management locked the system I was told. Just imagine how ridiculous is it that on new year you ready to party whole night and they tell you go to bed no more drink, we all fell like kids. I would never go there again and surely not recommending it to any one else Mehr

The Staff were kind, helpful and nice, very good service and clean environment but rooms and toilet not airy (no airconditioner) which was not good especially in a room with 4 people due to this problem we had to use the toilets in the corridor. The hotel reception staff were friendly and helpful. A 24 hour bus service runs into central manchester (remember which bus stop you need to get back on at!)

Typical Holiday inn express hotel.Rooms are clean, functional & an adequate size.Decent enough breakfast & right next door to the hotel was a good pub with Sky sports & good cheap food if there are 2 of you.(all of it is on a 2 for 1 deal). Overall if you need to stay in the area it is great value for money hotel.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. Comfortable room, bar/restaurant also comfortable. Bar food good / breakfast good. Would happily return to that hotel if we were in the area again.

We had a weekend in Manchester and with a hire-car this was a well located, clean hotel. No problems and the children enjoyed the breakfast buffet as well. What more do you want? :-)

This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, mainly to go to the Velodrome. It is very convenient for all sports enthusuiasts as near/and easy to get to, Sportscity. The hotel is very competitively priced The hotel staff are all very friendly and it is very comfortable and offers a very varied breakfast to suit all tastes. I am not sure how convenient […] it is to the City Centre and it is a pity the surrounding area is not better with more choices of where to eat in the evening. The hotel was ideal for our stay in Manchester. Its the opposite side to Legoland and The Trafford Centre, but good roads meant it didn't take too long to get there. Hotel and room was clean. We had a double bed and a foldout sofa bed. The room did get terribly hot and stuffy at night which meant that we had to sleep with our window open, but it didn't […] make much difference. Shower and toilet were very clean, lots of hot water and great shower. Free breakfast was great. Sausages, scrambled egg and beans. Four different cereals. Croissants and pastries. Yogurts. Juice. Tea or coffee. Toast. We didn't eat in the place next door. There is a Crown Carvery about 10 minutes away and an excellent chippie about 5 minutes away (fish and chips 3.05). The hotel is very nice, the staff is very helpful, but they want to charge 12 pounds to wirelessly connect my computer for 24 hrs but I at best want to use it for an hour and will stay in the hotel from 7 PM until 8 AM so I didn't use it. Quick and easy, convenient location. Great park for exercise or just a walk next door but don't eat at the pub next door, not very good.

I was excited about staying at another Holiday Inn Express having stayed in one at Gatwick however the Debdale Park Holiday Inn Express was nothing like the Gatwick one. The holiday was dated and unfortunately, we were put into a smoking room and none of us smoke so the smell was awful. We were unable to change this when we were there. The breakfast […] that was included ran out on both mornings as the hotel was full and they did not cater for enough people. If you are looking for a hotel that is central to things, then Debdale is not the hotel to book. It cost us £15 for a taxi to Old Trafford which was 6 miles away. Ok hotel if you want something cheap and have your own transport to get around. Would I stay here again, no. Mehr

This hotel can be a victim of it's own excellent value, in that at weekends it can fill up with a rather boisterous crowd whose bedtime may prove considerably later than yours. If this concerns you request a room on the upper floors - downstairs can get rowdy......

THis is a great place to stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well kept with clean rooms and common areas. The rooms are extremely comfortable and have everything you need. As the hotel is off the main road and backs onto rural land, it is a brilliant quiet stay - yet very handy for the M60.

Room was perfect for what I was after but would not recommend the breakfast. Felt ill after.... and no bacon...

The hotel address was not on the sat nav. Should be Wall Way, Gorton!

Good location for leaving the car and getting the bus or train to Manchester. Friendly staff, very professional. Clean and good facilities.

We checked out the reviews before we booked. Most said the Hotel was clean, staff friendly and the breakfast was good. I cannot disagree.It was great value for money. Be careful if you are using a sat nav as the postcode is not correct and we ended up at the rear of the property by a field so input using the road. Enjoy.

The hotel itself was fine - comfortable, clean, etc.However, as its menu was limited we went to the pub next door for a meal and it was dreadful.

Not satisfied with the attitude of the hotel. They got a room with the smell of smoke.

Hotel was a one night stopover. Difficult to find even with SAT NAV as the post code has been borrowed from a nearby housing estate. Despite requesting a non-smoking room were given a smoking room with no room for negotiation and a shrug of the shoulders from the duty manager. Some of the corridors smelled horrific.

Conveniently situated near motorways and good value for money for a night's stay near Manchester. Only downside was that there was no food available in the evening but the pub next door kindly made me some food to eat in our room which was very helpful as I was travelling with my elderly and tired mother.

Though it is an economy hotel the staff were exceptionally nice and very helpful. They made us most welcome especially the front desk staff. We do not normally write reviews but feel the staff deserve our thanks. We hope to return next year with a bigger group.

Everything you'd want and more, great price, clean, and best of all - quiet! Oh, and it includes breakfast (which was very nice) which a lot of hotels don't. Will stay there every time I go to Manchester.

We booked one night here to avoid driving and parking in central Manchester and driving a hundred miles home at night after a concert. The hotel was very easy to find, only a mile from the motorway. Taxis were about ten pounds each way. We could have gone by frequent bus straight into the city centre cheaper but we were running late. The hotel was perfectly […] adequate. The room was larger than I’d expected. And the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was fine. The Pub next door does food and has an ATM. What more do you need. No problems booking, registration was efficient, room was good, breakfast great. Stay a real treat.

a quiet and comfortable hotel. We were given smoking rooms which did have a tabacco smell to it. There rest of the room was clean and comfortable

Hotel en dehors de la ville de Manchester. Difficile d'accès sans véhicule. Personnel très aimable. La chambre pour 3 était petite. Petit déjeuner correct.

Prima uitvalsbasis om Manchester en omgeving te verkennen. Direct aan Hyde road waarvandaan om de 5 minuten een bus naar het centrum rijdt. Prima ontbijt; kamer (vnl badkamer) iets verouderd (ik heb nettere gezien bij HI Express). Behulpzaam personeel. Omgeving hotel in principe goed alleen vreselijk veel rommel (waarom niet een keer samen met de Pub […] en de McDonalds de boel een beetje opruimen?) Mehr
