I have stayed at many many Embassy Suites and this one seemed a little more "dated" than some others. If they renovate this particular one, it would be perfect! The rooms were spacious, staff was friendly and the breakfast was as always, amazing. We stayed St. Patrick's Day and a wedding was going on that night as well. The next morning breakfast was […] absolutely packed but the employees did a greg job of opening more space to accommodate everyone. My boyfriend and I stayed in downtown Orlando for St. Patty's Day weekend and couldn't have picked a better place. As soon as we arrived (about 5:15 on a Friday) the front desk let us know they have complimentary happy hour from 5:30-7:30 every day, so that was a perfect start! The hot breakfast buffet is also included and was amazing!! The staff was […] friendly and re-supplied our linens immediately after we requested it, atmosphere was a great combination of upscale but laid back, great view and near everything. When I walked into my room, there was a towel on the floor, and a piece of trash on the floor by the beds. The toilet in my bathroom wouldn't flush properly, so I had to fill the trashcan with water and pour it down the toilet to make it flush. Right in the middle of the vibrant downtown Orlando the location is perfect. The hotel is super nice as well. The front desk staff is a joke but who cares when the place is beautiful and located where it is.

There was a young man at the front desk that was especially nice to everyone. He truly made you feel welcomed. The free breakfast was far more than we expected...it was delicious. Many thanks for the shuttle to the Amway Center.

Great place and the staff was very nice. Breakfast was great. Loved the bed. Great location. Only complaint was some excess noise. Cant wait to stay again.

Hotel is in the middle of downtown 1/2 mile walking distance to from the Amway center. A lot of nightlfe and good bars around it. Overall nice stay.

My husband and I love downtown Orlando. You don't get all those tourist or few of them. Only thing elevator is very very slow. And since it's near downtown club scene you do get some loud drunks in the middle of the night. Love the neighborhood right by Lake Eola and Thoronton Park.

This was not the highlight of our trip to Orlando. Given it was the holidays they should have been better prepared for the breakfast crowds and extended breakfast hours. We arrived 30 minutes prior to the end of breakfast and stood in line until there was nothing left. The next morning we opted to skip breakfast when the line circled the lobby... seriously […] you know hoe many people are staying at the hotel.. it shouldn't have been that difficult. Hotel was outdated. Stains on carpet. Overall a rather "meh" experience. Mehr

I am usually a Sheraton hotel patron but I wanted a reasonable priced and highly reviewed hotel in the vicinity of Wells Fargo building where I am visiting for business. I have to say that I am very impressed with the customer service and friendliness of the staff I came across during my 2 nights stay. The front desk was very prompt in my request and […] questions. The valet attendants were very polite and quick in getting my vehicle. The breakfast bar attendant was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy with servicing his customers. The bar attendant (they have a Manager's Special with free flow of drinks before 7.30 pm!!) was very attendant to our needs and prompt to service. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality and professionalism of the employees of Embassy Suites Downtown Orlando. Great job guys! Mehr

Although we live in metro Orlando, we booked this hotel during the 2 day Orlando Calling music festival. The facility is top notch and the staff is very accomodating. The suite with sitting room was very welcome after a long day of stage hopping. The full breakfast, with omelet station is a nice touch for the all inclusive price. Highly recommend.

The hotel was overall nice. The one issue for our arrival date was a parade that had most of the streets blocked from the day into the night and it would have been nice to be informed prior to arrival. The valet parking is quite pricey and the parking staff was quite insistent on getting valet rather than self parking. There was shuttle service for the event we attended, however it ended before the event ended so we were not able to use it. Great location. Would highly recommend.

It was a surprisingly nice stay once we got there. There are lots of one-way streets that made it a little confusing on the GPS. However, I would certainly come back again. The walk to food and bars was an easy two blocks. It was also real close to a cool lake that had a super jogging path and a Publix grocery store. First time to stay. Son lives downtown. Will be coming to this place from now on. Best place to stay downtown...period. Love the cocktail hr and buffet.

Excellent staff attitude to customer service. Comfortable rooms - well laid out, the tea and coffee supplies very welcome. Beautiful setting near the lovely lake.

rooms like all embassy suites were spacious with a nice and roomy bathroom the free 2 hour happy hour was fantastic as well and the bar, like other reviews stated, was not crazy through the night, it wasn't even open that late breakfast buffet was superb for a free buffet, there was even an omelet station if that's your thing

My husband and myself were taking our granddaughters to the Amway center for a concert. The hotel was walking distance to the Amway Center which was a plus. I was not impressed with the rooms. It was not cleaned very well. The pool was very small and very dirty. We did not eat at the resturant. There was not a great selection. There are plenty of places […] to eat in walking distance. When it came time for bed we pulled down the covers to discover a bunch of hair all over the bottem sheets. They were never changed. We called the front desk and they sent the hotel guard to our room and handed us a set of sheets to make up our own bed. The only two elevators took forever and the hotel was pretty much full so you waited a long time to get anywhere. I can say the daytime hotel staff were very helpful. It is under the Hilton family but not our idea of a Hilton. Mehr

Everything was perfect except: Trash was left in the room before our visit. Elevator is aweful.

This is a hotel in downtown Orlando. If you have business in downtown this is a great location, with nearby restaurants and shopping. Don't forget there is a steep daily parking charge for your car. Overall a good hotel.

Great location. Nice breakfast. I especially like the make your own omelet station. The room location is not so good. You can hear all the noises and cars from the outside all night long. Then inside, the sound echos through the buiding. You will need to be in a coma to sleep through it.

I was staying at the Embassy Suites for a week, the waitresses and the Kitchen staff were absolutely amazing, they made my business trip a delight. the only issue i had was the parking, 18 dollars a night is a bit much, but there is plenty of meter parking in the area.

I stayed at this hotel for several days, beginning on Sunday night. When I first arrived, the hotel was understaffed with only one server working the restaurant and room service. During the work week, the staffing levels rose and service improved. The shuttle service worked very well and was very convenient. location and staff were excellent. the only minor fault i had is that they stopped serving breakfast inc coffee at 9.30am which i thought was v early seeing at it is used also as a holiday hotel. apart from that it was excellent. superb location

Nice hotel, clean and well-kept. Spacious room. If you use their parking there is a $18.00 overnight charge, and like another reviewer no one there even mentioned the charge - just a small sign outside by the entrance. We were a little disappointed by this at first but the free cocktail hours and breakfast completely made up for it. The staff was great--very helpful. Loved the open happy hour which provided a nice opportunity to chat with other travellers. Would have been nice to have complimentary internet service. Overall a very pleasant place to stay while conducting business.

I could hear people partying at 2:00 am which sounded like the it came from the next room but could have been coming up from the lobby/atrium. My room looked clean until i reach behind the nite stand to plug my phone in and found used tissues and empty water bottle. The staff was nice. Lovely hotel, found everything. My room was slightly grubby, tables needed a good scrubbing. Medicinal smell to room. Good meeting space. Major complaint: hotel.com listed manager's reception with appetizers. Appetizers were goldfish crackers, pretzels, chex mix and pretzels.

Great location and a great hotel. They have a great happy hour and free made-to-order breakfast. Will definitely stay here again.
