The WiFi was not working properly, the desk clerk said she would reset the router, after a half an hour she still had not reset the router so I went to the office and she was doing her paperwork and said she would do it when she was done with her paperwork. I stood there for fifteen more minutes while she did paperwork which was obviously more important […] than an actual guest. The reset worked for five minutes, so I checked out rather than wait around for her to decide I was important enough to do her job for. Mehr

This was the cheapest hotel I could find, because I just wanted to stay overnight after a party rather than have a 3-hour drive afterward. I wasn't too concerned with the area or the amenities, as long as it was in city limits. There was a fridge in the room, which was nice (those seem to be an endangered species). There was free outdoor parking onsite. […] There was wireless internet, though it didn't really work and I switched back to my mobile phone's internet. The toilet did this weird, loud, periodic refill of its tank and I had to get in and tweak it to make it stop. All in all, a good value if you just want a place to sleep, but if you can spend an extra $50 and stay in a nicer area, you'll enjoy yourself much more. Mehr

The website showed something better. The bathtub plugger was falling apart. The toilet was running all night. It says it has Wi-Fi couldnt log in for the 2 days that I was there. No coffee maker or alarm clock in the room.. I would never stay there again. The website should show how it actually looks like..

They don't have breakfast, the staff were not nice and they don't have NET. Also, when I was slepp all room was very noisy :((

The hotel was alright, but kind of ghetto. It was not in the best part of portland, there is a strip club visibly across the street. The staff was nice but seemed sort of disorganized.

This was possibly the worst place I have ever stayed! It was an awful area, smelled bad, poor service, mold in the tub, dirty pillows, plywood in one of the windows, cigarette burns in the blanket, noisy, thin walls, trains, tons of traffic, I could go on and on. I am soooo not a snob either but would rather sleep in my car than ever stay here again. […] Pitiful breakfast that we wouldn't have dared to eat anyway.Staff must smoke in the lobby since it reeked. The beds were very hard, the pillows were flat and the water pressure was bad, It seemed like it was also in a bad area of town. And the lock didn't seem to work on our door unless it was deadbolted

The room itself wasn't horrible, but the other people (presumably living there) were frightening. All night long guys hung out on the walkway (outside my door.) I could hear couples shouting and babies crying until after midnight. I was scared for my life the entire night. Spend a couple more bucks somewhere else and stay safe!

I booked this for my mother without reading reviews. When my family showed up there first impression was terrifying. They said it was like rolling into a crack house. Do I really need to comment on the room after that. I can't believe a name brand hotel would keep their name on the sign.

I needed a cheap place to overnight in PDX. Reception was nice, wrote down a taxi number for me. But my only problem was that no one had milk for coffee. I ended up crossing a very busy street at 6:30 in the morning just so I could have coffee that I could drink. (I was on East Coast Time) and then at McDonalds, they looked at me funny and charged me […] for a kids bottle fo milk for my coffee because they only have half and half. I thought that coffee was popular on the West coast. They love wine, but seem to hate cows... Mehr

The hotel staff don't show much commitment to serving guests. I've tried to ask for help to at the help desk but most of the time they are not there. I was expecting a guest one day, which I hadn't told the receptionist about. But the receptionist gave my friend access to my room without calling me first to confirm. We all know the consequences of this […] action if I the guest was not someone I knew. Also the hotel is too close to busy roads so it quite noisy at night when you trying to find some sleep. Mehr

The hotel itself was clean, easy and relatively comfortable. (The pillows/bed weren't the most comfortable, but not bad.) The area however was a bit on the rough side. There seemed to be "residences" living in the hotel, I was woken up twice throughout the night, once by the "residents" yelling in the parking lot and another by some drunken girls screaming […] and banging around my room. This Hotel overall wasn't too bad except the fact that some of the towels were very bad with stains. Another thing was the continental breakfast. Don't let those words fool you. They don't mean pancakes, fresh fruit, waffles, etc. All that they offer is coffee, juice, and some small muffins. Both beds had broken springs in them so very uncomfortable breakfast is a joke no hairdryer or coffee pit in room the only positive thing was the gentleman that was on duty sunday morning very nice helpful guy. I will never stay at this chain again

****Avoid totally******. One of the worst hotel.Staff really do not care about your stay. Rooms are disusting. Non smoking rooms smell cigars. Bed sheets and blinds are all torn . One of the worst location in Portland... Pay few more dollars and avoid any Econo lodges. I will avoid Econo in future.

The hotel is in a shady part of Portland. Rooms were out dated and not very clean. Although staff was very friendly, we would not choose to stay here again.

We could not even stay in this Motel when we arrived! It was in a horrible area of town and it looked like drug deals were occuring outside of the rooms. There was NO parking. My husband (who is NOT afraid of anything!!) pulled up into the parking area and looked around and said, "I am not having my family stay here! If we get out safe, I suspect our […] car wont!" i booked this hotel because it said it was close to downtown and it was fairly cheap. Well i got what i paid for! It is not close to downtown and the room was full of mosquitos. Within the first 10 minutes in the room i was bitten 7 times. I had to change rooms. The other quest looked like they live in portland but didnt have a place to stay and do […] their shady stuff. I had to keep an eye on my car in fear that i would wake up in the morning and it would be gone. I DO NOT recommend this hotel to any new comers to portland. Mehr

So, it may be my GPS, but when I plugged the address of this hotel in to it, it lead us to an abandoned building in the industrial section of Portland. This hotel is located near the industrial areas, not the best neighborhood, and lots of auto shops. There was no amenities near by, except for a sketchy gas station. The bathroom was dirty, the carpet was stained and burned, aand there weren't enogh towels or pillows. The walls had splotchy pAint repairs, the toilet seat was worn down and chipped, and there weren't enough outlets. I was afraid to touch anything.

First of all, there are reserved parking spaces for the employees right in front of the hotel front. I counted 4 spots. That pretty much says how much they care about the customers. Second, the front desk clerks were pretty nice. Except that one morning I asked for a wake-up call but I never got it. Hence I woke up late. Luckily I didn't have a flight […] to catch that day, but for a motel close to the airport? seriously? That's not assuring. So the next morning when I did have a flight to catch, I stayed up all night. Third, the stairways and hallways are a mess. They are carpeted but you can see ripped pieces of carpet laying around all over, dirty as hell. Inside the room was okay and they did change the linens and things... Overall, if you are desperate, stay here. If not, stay away! Mehr

Easy to find location on MLK in NE Portland close to fast food, expo center and not all that far from downtown. Older but well maintained. Staff was very competent and cut us a little slack on a late checkout.
