Drury Plaza Hotel St. Louis at the Arch - St. Louis

Good Hotel, but we had the room next to the elevator!! If you check in make sure you get not that room.

Fantastic place for business or fun in downtown. Two blocks from Busch Stadium, two blocks to Mike Shannon's Steakhouse. Clean, friendly staff and 3 free drinks at happy hour and free full buffet breakfast. Highly recommend and will stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay. staff was helpful when we had a family emergency/illness/ hospitalization.

The place was nearly perfect!!! Services and extras are awesome! Room was extremely clean but pretty small. Some parts of the hotel are very outdated. Overall though, we loved it!!! Definatley recomended.

The hotel was nice. The fitness center is small and kind of stuffy/muggy since its next to the pool. The breakfast was yummy!! Unfortunately we missed happy hour because we were out sight seeing. Excellent service, very friendly and accommodating staff, very clean rooms. Located half a block away from the Arch, the rates are really reasonable. Free breakfast in the morning, free food in the evening and free drinks are the best feature. Perfect place to stay.The parking is $16 per day which I felt a bit expensive.

The Drury is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Very comfortable, lots of amenities. They really cater to families and the staff was fantastic, always helpful and friendly.

We were extremely satisfied with the service, "extras", and hotel. The location is perfect, hotel rates are reasonable, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast and evening snacks were delicious and more than we expected. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Very kid friendly but not overrun with unruly children as could be the case. What a wonderful new find of a hotel chain. I will seek this chain out when traveling in the future without or (definitely) with kids! Need one in Chicago! would be a great staycation for this windy city dweller. This hotel was amazing! The room was very clean, hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They always were willing to help and always with a smile on their face. We were impressed with not only the Free Hot Breakfast, but also the Free Kickback at 5:30pm. We enjoyed our stay in St. Louis so much that on our way home the following week, we booked a […] room at the Drury Hotel in Springfield, MO. Hot breakfast, free drinks and appetizers in the evening, comfortable bed, many attractions within walking distance, reasonable parking rates... could not be more delighted with my stay here!

It sure was crowded, but why not? This place really had it all including a very diverse and quite tasty complimentary hot breakfast. Free coffee and popcorn in the lobby throughout the entire day is finished off at 5:30 by an hour and a half of free drinks and snacks (hot dogs, nachos, potatoes, etc.). Very chaotic, but well worth the lines and difficulty […] finding a table. Everything else about the place is great, especially the modern amenities in a hotel that is on the historic register. Very nice hotel. The free evening meal and breakfast was wonderful! Pool was a little smaller than we thought it would be, but kids still enjoyed it. Did have to park about a block and a half away as opposed to the attached parking garage~ kind of inconvenient, but weather was great so not a big deal!

Staff was helpful and pleasant. The location was perfect -- walked to The City Museum and the Arch was just a block away. The free breakfast was great and had a lot of options, and the kick-back in the evening was extremely convenient and budget-friendly. Last time we were in St. Louis, we stayed at the Embassy Suites. We wanted something comparable and found it here at a better price. I was so impressed w/the security everywhere, the cleanliness, comfort and amenities. I brought my girls here on a field trip to see the Arch and museum because we just studied Lewis and Clark in our homeschool. The staff […] were helpful in giving us info that we needed to get around. The girls enjoyed the pool. We took advantage of the free snacks in the evening, and the great breakfast in the morning. If we come to St. Louis again, we will definitely stay here. The carriages were right out front, so we took a ride, had dinner downtown and walked back, so it's in walking distance to many restaurants. The only drawback is the parking. It was near impossible to park my Suburban in those tight spots in the garage, but we're from Chicago so we're used to it. Mehr

This hotel is located within in minutes of the Arch. It isn't posh, but it is comfortable. The free breakfast and evening cocktail hour were superb, especially for families who are traveling and don't want to spend so much for breakfast or even dinner (the evening cocktail hour included hot dogs, nachos, baked potatoes, etc.--my kids ate for free). […] The staff was kind and friendly. Really a nice hotel.. Can't say enough about it's charm. The beds were cozy, loby was beautiful and the people working there were kind and happy to serve you. My husband and I and two kids had a room on the 5th floor. It was simple but charming. The views of the city from our room were amazing. Felt like we were part of the city yet very quiet in our […] room. The pool was really nice, with two hot tubs. And Angelos rest. nest to hotel was the best burger I have ever tasted. The hotel was great. It had a great view of surroundings. Some rooms get a view of the old Courthouse, some the Arch, and some Busch Stadium. The 5:30 Kick Back is a nice touch. Every day from 5:30 to 7:00 pm, the hotel puts on a good spread of snacks ranging from nacho's with fixing, to baked potatoes, to hot dogs and chips. They also have a daily […] special which could be buffalo wings, chicken strips, and other foods I can't think up right now. Also, each guest over 21 gets a drink card good for 3 drinks during that time. Sweet. My wife and I walked 2 blocks to the arch, walked down to the river just past it, walked up by Busch Stadium, walked to the Citygarden. It was a fantastic time. At night, you can call a horse-drawn carriage company to pick you up from the hotel and escort you around downtown who will give you some history of the buildings and attractions. We had a fantastic time. The only 2 things that weren't great about the hotel was the refrigerator and the cable tv. The refrigerator would barely get cold, and the cable tv didn't have a program guide, nor did it have pay-per-view. Overall, I LOVED my stay, and I will be staying at this hotel again. Mehr

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. It was very reasonably priced plus got a full service hot breakfast and free appetizers and drinks in the evening during "kickback". Food was good. Hotel was very neat, clean & the staff was very helpful & courteous. Conveniently located a block from the arch and within walking distance to many areas […] including the Scottrade Center where we went. Nice surrounding area and had no problems what so ever. My fiance and I were very pleased with the Drury Plaza and would highly reccomend it. The ammenities alone, which include a fantastic breakfast and 3 complimentary drinks and snacks, makes it a great bargain for the price. Had a great time. The hotel was awesome. Not sure why they would only be a 3 star really!? Started trip off by going to wrong Drury in downtown St.Louis. Which was my fault. The ladies at the first hotel...(right across from convention center) were so sweet and so helpful. They made the call to the other Drury for me to confirm the correct location […] and reservations. The front desk staff at the Plaza Drury were awesome too!! SO friendly and fun. Great personalities from all the different staff that we had conversation with while we were there. The "happy hour" rocked! More than just a snack....it was dinner! For free! And the breakfast? Boy howdy they have come a long way from the ol' stale bagels and dry cereal! Just sayin'! Ok, just wanted to share my experience. Seems people love to take the time to complain, but never to praise anymore, so wanted to give the "Drury staff" a shout out! Nice Stay. Staff was nice. Breakfast was fulfilling. Love the After Five food and drinks. Perfect for coming back to after a long day of touring the city, and before getting out for the night. Will definitely visit again when in town.

Everything was just great. I enjoyed my entire stay. Beautiful room with beautiful view and awesome customer service!!! We will definitely stay there again!!

We went to see the Arch and go down to riverwalk during the holidays. The hotel was AWESOME for location and the evening happy hour was great!! Not to mention the breakfast! Would recommend the hotel to anyone wanting a "get-away"!!!

The hotel was in a very convenient downtown location. My wife and I also enjoyed the hot breakfast as well as the food served every evening. The lobby area was very attractive.

First off, the hotel staff were some of the best at their jobs. Customer service was excellent all around. We enjoyed the manager's reception (free drinks and snacks between 5:30-7pm) but was not impressed with the breakfast. It lack variety. Although the pool was convenient and large, there were WAY too many people in the pool and the spas to enjoy […] it. The room was pretty common in size and room amenities. I don't believe there was a glass cup in the entire building. Even with alcoholic beverages we drink them from plastic. I was half tempted to break into song in the lobby by singing "Red Solo Cup" by Toby Keith. When comparing this hotel to other hotels in the same area and in the same price range, I would say choice the others. If I judge it on customer service alone, I would keep coming back ever trip to STL. Mehr
