Dead quiet in the Winter...a Zoo in the Summer. Outstanding location for Summer party goers. Good value for travellers in the Winter. Noise travels easily from one room to the next. Towels are cheap and scratchy to the touch. Front desk staff is very good.

hotel layout was like a maze....no elevator to the second floor........room had ant problems (going to be rectified)........bathroom had no sink or mirror, instead it was in the room with the beds....closets were difficult to use if you have reaching problems, due to hieght of hanger bar.......free breakfast was european style buffet service........probably […] for the price it was adequate............ I would recommend this hotel. Hotel very clean, staff very helpful and the breakfast had a very nice variety to choose from. Great value.

The photos are way nicer than the real thing.The water glasses were plastic, the carpets and furniture are more than 20+ years old.Smelled like carpet fresh when I first walked in(I and my son are fragrance sensitive).The beds were uncomfortable and I was concerned about the 'health' of the mattress and pillows.The sink was in the room, not the bathroom […] and it had no counter space.Washroom was clean however.Paper thin walls were paper thin.The TV was old CRT and was cheaply bought 20 years ago, couldn't even read the lisiting channels as it was too blurry.The breakfast room uses plastic folding tables from costco (no tablecloths), no fresh fruit with breakfast, only canned.This is despite being in the fruit growing belt of BC. Coffee was passable but no cream for my coffee on day 2, simply a carafe of 2% milk they tried to pass off as cream. Bagels, toast, boiled eggs, 3 cereals, english muffins and danish rounded out the mediocre selection along with basic peanut butter, cream cheese, jam and honey for spreads all in single serve containers. All the cutlery was plastic and the plates paper and no recycling was provided for any of this. The indoor pool was too cold too. I didn't risk going in past waist deep. AS I was leaving I had to witness a guest tell the front desk woman to stop being confrontational and just process his bill. Although I didn't experience that personally, overall, I won't stay here again and don't recommend it to any current, past, or virtual friends. Mehr

Geat hotel...staff very friendly and helpful as I didn't know my way around Pentiction. When we had a problem they dealt with it asap. We did feel that the room could have used more lighting as my mom, who is 85, couldnt find a good place to read. Otherwise, we will return as well as recommend The Days Inn to others Thank you

I was quite disappointed with my stay at the Days Inn. After receiving rude treatment at check in, I discovered my room had not been properly cleaned (there were half dissolved mystery pills on the counter - thank goodness I was not traveling with children!) In addition, my room was not cleaned at all before my second night, which I unfortunately discovered […] too late at night to be able to do anything about. The room I was in was also not well set up, as it was lacking accessible power outlets everywhere but by the sink. This meant that I had to chose between having my laptop plugged in and easy sink access. The table present in the room was also not one I could comfortably work on. I have traveled extensively for both work and pleasure, and must say this hotel did not meet my expectations for the star rating and price. I will not be staying here again, and will likely avoid the Days Inn in general after this experience. Mehr

We were in Penticton for the NHL Young Stars tournament and were very pleased with the comfort, quietness and cleanliness of the hotel. The staff were cordial and easy to talk to when we had any questions.

This is a 60's style motel that has been updated. Furniture and bathroom fixtures appear to be original. The rooms are spacious and clean. Sound proofing is not as good as newer motels so I would recommend a second storey room. The pool and other facilities are good and the location is close to the beach. The staff is great. there never was enough hot water in the morning. and the only entrance to the hotel was on the opposite direction of the beach so we had to walk around to get in, and there's no sidewalk.

Easy check in, comfortable rooms, pleasant staff. Liked having the breakfast included. Check out time was 11:00 am but we wanted one more trip down the canal, so staff allowed us to use the lobby washroom to change out of our swimsuits in the afternoon.

Very clean as it is a new hotel. Channel surfing across the street, but a good 8 min, walk to Okanagan Beach. Either need to drive car to beach and try to find parking or carry things and walk (which is fine when it's not raining.) Same distance to walk to restaurants.

We had a problem with the lighting, The light at the sink was behind your back and so very difficult to shave. The mirror was also very old and chipped

Nice hotel, lived up to expectations. Very nice breakfast, would definitely stay here again.

The hotel location is great. The room was clean and quiet. The free breakfast makes this good value for money.

Front desk was very accomodating and helpful for extras that we required and had answers for all our questions.. Great location - nice walk to the beaches, restaurants. Everyting helped us have a wonderful vacation.

Spacious room, good location, friendly staff Very poor lighting in room, need to upgrade lighting or at least wattage of bulbs!

If you're not going to spend alot of time at the hotel, it's O.K.. There is a restaurant ajoining the hotel, but only open Friday, Saturday. Breakfast area is O.K.. Lots of other restaruants close by. Furnishings are old, but rooms are clean.

Great location. Clean room. Decent mattress. However, while wifi is available, there were not enough wall plugs in the room to accommodate laptop, phone charger, bluetooth charger, etc. Also there was no desk to work at.

Upon check-in, found front desk staff to be very friendly. The room (with 2 queen beds) was not very big, but sufficient.However, it was odd to see the sink and hairdryer out by the door and not in the bathroom....yes, no sink in the bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean. However, there was a trail of dry cat or dog food out […] in the hallway, which did not leave a good impression with my husband. The first night was fine, but the second night was horrible. There was no one above us during the 1st night of stay, but the 2nd day, we could tell there was someone staying above us. We could hear the footsteps above us and the sound of water running down (from using the sink and flushing the toilet). But this did not make our stay horrible. It's the wedding party that ruined my stay there. There's an attached conference room that's probably about 20 feet from our windows. When it got around 11:30 PM, I called the front desk because I had enough of the commotion outside. The outside doors of the conference room were open and people were loitering outside and being loud and obnoxious. I was even afraid that my vehicle might get damaged. The person at front desk said that the wedding party has the room booked until 1 AM. She said that she'll tell them to close the doors and stay inside. Some time later, my husband called front desk to complain about same thing. He was told that the doors are closed and the wedding party was inside. But this was not the case. Afterwards, I called front desk, but this time, no one picked up the phone...I felt that they were ignoring our call now. I'm sure that other people complained that night. Upon check-out, I raised the issue with front desk about the wedding party. I told the lady at front desk of what had happened the night before and she apologized and informed me that the lady working at front desk last night had a hard time keeping the wedding party group indoors. The Days Inn in Penticton, BC is a decent place to stay overnight if you're passing through. It's a little old and worn but reasonably clean. The free wireless didn't seem to be working most of the time we were there.

Een goed hotel, gelegen in een gezellig klein badplaatsje, waar alles binnen loopafstand te bewonderen is.Diner gebruikt in het aangrenzende restaurant, was heel smakelijk maar geen geweldige bediening dat kon beter.
