Wir möchten immer ein Zimmer zum Hof haben und nicht eines im angrenzenden Hotelgebäude. Ich habe deshalb schon die teurere Zimmerkategorie gebucht mit 2 Betten. Aber wie letztes Mal 10 Dollar Upgrade gezahlt. Aber dafür super freundlicher Service. Super Preis Leistungsverhälltnis für San Francisco und tolle lage zu Fuß 5-10Minuten zur Fisherman-Warf. Auch parken für 12 Dollar in San Francisco ,es sind es in den meisten anderen Hotels 25-50 Dollar.Jederzeit wieder.

Das Hotel liegt in der Geary St. ein paar Blocks vom Union Square. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stockwerk im Mittelgang, was den großen Vorteil hat, dass man den Straßenlärm nicht mitbekommt, sondern nur den gelegentlichen Lärm den andere Gäste verursachen. Die Zimmer haben nur ein kleines Fenster mit einem wenig schönen Ausblick auf den Innenhof. Das Continental Breakfast besteht aus Kaffee, Toast m. Butter u. Marmelade, O- bzw. Apfelsaft u. einem Stück Obst. Problematisch ist die Parkplatzsituation, da gleich vor der Haustür eine Bushaltestelle ist und ansonsten i.d.R. nur Parkplätze für Kurzparker vorhanden sind. Das Hotel bietet für 30 $ p. Tag einen Valetparkservice an, d.h. es kommt jemand u. parkt das Auto irgendwo, was sehr gut funktioniert hat. Das Hotel liegt zwar in der Nähe des Unionsquare aber auch sehr dicht am Tenderloin Bezirk, den man vor allem Nachts meiden sollte. Insgesamt kann ich das Hotel vom Preis - Leistungsverhältnis weiter empfehlen!

"Gerade noch zu empfehlen"
Shuttleservice zum Flughafen vorhanden aber sehr unpünktlich. Hier also undebingt genügend Zeit einplanen. Mann sollte auch vor der Ankunft Bescheid geben dass man den Service nutzen möchte. Die Zimmer waren groß und einigermaßen sauber. Die Matratzen sind sehr unbequem und 10 Jahre alt!!! Die werden aber laut Angaben des Personals demnächst erneuert. […] In der Nähe gab es einen Target (wie Walmart), dort haben wir eine Matratzenauflage gekauft...... dann ging es für die 3 Tage. Das Frühstück war gut. Es gab auch einen Computer der von den Hotelgästen kostenlos benutzt werden konnte...... die Tastatur war allerdings so abgenutzt und verschmutzt dass man die eigentlich nicht anfassen wollte. So was habe ich noch nie gesehen!!!. Teilweise hatte die schon Schimmelbefall??! Wir bekamen nur die einfachern Zimmer obwohl wir den Zimmertyp "Executice" gebucht hatten. Preis/Leistung aber noch ok. Gegenüber gibt es eine griechisch angehauchte Pizzeria.... die Pizzen schecken gigantisch gut!! Mehr
"ansprechendes Flughafenhotel"
Guter, gewohnter Days Inn-Standard, sehr schöne Zimmer, direkt am Flughafen, kontinentales Frühstück vorhanden, jedoch leider nur bis 9 Uhr, kein Pool, dennoch sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, würde ich gerne weiterempfehlen.
"Ordentliches Hotel in mäßiger Lage"
Das Hotel selbst ist sauber und recht modern eingerichtet, die Zimmer sind groß und in gutem Zustand. Die Betten sind gemütlich, und man schläft gut darin. Das kontinentale Frühstück ist nicht allzu umfangreich, was aber in den USA in dieser Hotelklasse üblich ist. Die Zimmer zur Rückseite sind etwas besser, jedoch hört man aufgrund der Nähe zum internationalen Flughafen hier häufiger Flugzeuge starten. Für die erste oder letzte Nacht nah am Flughafen perfekt. Shuttle vom/zum Flughafen klappt gut. Hotel ist sauber. Das Frühstück ist für amerikanische Verhältnisse gut. Cornflakes, Kaffee, Toast und Marmelade. Man kann sich frische Waffeln machen. Es gibt auch frisches Obst. Mit deutschen Frühstücksbuffets natürlich nicht zu vergleichen...

Ein Auto wäre empfehlenswert - Shuttle wird angeboten, sauberes nettes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal. Ideal zum preiswerten Übernachten, wenn man SF besucht.

"Flughafenhotel"
Das Hotel ist unmittelbar in Flughafennähe. In der Lobby konnte man ein Notebokk mit Internetzugang kostenlos nutzen und die Flugdaten checken. Frühstück war auch gut. Zimmer sehr sauber. Da würden wir sofort wieder übernachten
Zentrale Lage an einer mehrspurigen Hauptstraße. Da die Klimaanlage durchschmorte, mußte das Fenster geöffnet werden. Dadurch keine Nachtruhe möglich. Der versprochene kleine Frühstücksimbiss für 04.00 Uhr stand nicht bereit. Nachtschichtpersonal war nicht informiert. Zubringerservice zum Flughafen pünktlich.

"Second stay in a week"
We stayed here twice in one week. This was a very nice place to stay, but just wanted to say that the breakfast area is very small and the variety offered was less than even the basic items offered. In addition the staff in charge of the breakfast area were less than enthused or did not know what they needed to do. "Dayy Inn-- Needs a few tweeks"
Room very clean. Except the arm chair needed vacuuming, had blond hair all over it. Any issues at arose (bathroom sink stopper not working) were handled promptly. This visit unfortunately the hot water heater started to go out. I checked out as scheduled.Then rechecked back in due to located and service. The room was great. I can't find anything bad to tell you about the Hotel. I really want to tell you about the special care, and kindness the Hotel staff expressed with me. I know that there a much finer hotels in San Fransisco, but I will never stay anywhere else, when I'm in the San Fransisco area.
"Convenience at a fair price"
Location was what we needed on our trip....this hotel was located close to the airport as well as our rental car place. Price was great too...will stay here again if I make it to San Fran again soon.

The continental breakfast was a little sparse, but overall the hotel is fine. The hotel is close to the airport which is good when you are arriving later in the day.

We chose the hotel because of the location near the airport. The hotel was cleanly and the staff was very kind. Not much of a variety in the neighborhood (lots of chinese, thai and sushi) but the shuttle took us to the airport to catch the BART downtown. Overall, fair for the price much like any Days Inn. "Days Inn - San Bruno"
Good hotel for the price. Nice location with very good Asian restaurants nearby as well as a Office Depot 5 blocks away. Hotel shuttle from airport or to close nearby locations very helpful. Front desk staff very polite and provide advice on nearby restaurants as well as other nearby landmarks.
"Days Inn near SFO"
I stayed there so I could be close to SFO for an early-morning departure. My only difficulty was that the hotel shuttle supposedly "couldn't" find me after I arrived and called them repeatedly with my location information. I got very frustrated and concerned about gettng behind schedule for my first appointment. The delay amounted to about 45 minutes! […] Eventually I was picked up and taken to the hotel, and they nicely offered to take me to the BART station (and pick me up later that evening). This "extra" service more than made up for the initial problem. I got to my appointment with two minutes to spare! Mehr

"Very Satisfied"
We needed a place to go sleep during a long international layover and the rep on the phone for hotels.com was extremely helpful and took all the stress out of my hands by finding us a hotel with a free shuttle from the airport and a reasonable price. We were very satisfied with the whole experience.
"Great Bargain"
The second time I've stayed here in the last six months. Close to BART, SFO. Free breakfast. Much cheaper than staying in the city. I would stay here again.

If you are not too pretentious and want the value of your dollar to go far, this is a good hotel. Great location to the airport, about ten minutes from rental car pick up. The ambiance is bland, with no frills. However the amentiites are great. Free internet, breakfast, coffee, fridge in room. Service is OK. Neighborhood is not scary.

"Clean and convenient for a quick airport stay."
We got the room for super cheap so I wan't expecting much but we were only staying overnight briefly. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the hotel. They had a decent continental breakfast and a free shuttle to the airport. In addition, we were able to leave our car there for the entire week we were gone for less than any other lot I found. "Days Inn San Francisco– Clean&Economic"
I was joyfully surprised by the Days Inn. It's clean, inexpensive, not noisy, with friendly staff, free Internet and parking, a free ample breakfast, and a large lobby where one can relax. It has an hourly shuttle to the airport. The neighborhood is not very interesting but with a car one is near a lot of fun sights.

This certainly isn't the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in, but for the price and for my needs (somewhere to sleep close to the airport after a long conference), it was perfect. The room was clean and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

Hotel room was old, needs remodel/refurbish. Definitely a two star hotel. staff was helful, breakfast free, rather limited. Ok place to stay for a night but would probably not book again.

It started with power not working in the bathroom at midnight on new years. The front counter man didn't care that happen he was more concern about his food. The front counter man got in my face about morning food and started yell at employee to shut up. Never had bad service like this. The house maid did a good job it was the man makes hotel suck.

My daughter and I stayed in this hotel before a 6:10a.m. flight out of SFO. The room was clean and quiet and was equipped with a coffee maker and small refrigerator. There were several restaurants conveniently nearby and the front desk was helpful. "You can do better"
Yes, its close to the airport, but, I wasnt satisfied with the shower, or the bed, or the tv. The clerks had to work at my reservations, both coming and going, to get things right. They did a good job at that though.

Rather than spend much more for a downtown or airport hotel with amenities I wasn't going to use, the Days Inn was a much more affordable alternative. Heat in room did not work and desk manager insisted it did. It never reached higher than 67 degrees. I would have froze but I slept in my clothes. Otherwise convenient to airport; only 10 min away. Airport shuttle runs every 1/2 hour but was 15 min late leaving to airport in a.m. The halls and room smelled really pleasant. Went to eat down the street, […] streets fairly lit w/lots of Asian and a pizza restraint nearby, neighborhood felt like a mix of okay and a little questionable.
