Lage ist perfekt mit den Pacific nur Schritte weg, es gibt eine Küche in jede Zimmer und vielen Restaurants und Bars auf Garnet Avenue, echt Perfekt! Die Welle sind auch sehr schön im Tourmaline, ca. 5 Minuten von den Hotel.

Wir waren zu zweit für eine Nacht in diesem Hotel und können es für kurze Aufenthalte weiterempfehlen. Der Service am Empfang war sehr gut. Wir hatten anfangs Probleme mit dem Internet und haben uns an die Rezeption gewandt. Obwohl es bereits nach 21 Uhr war, wurde uns umgehend geholfen und Techniker geholt, die das Problem behoben haben. Das Frühstück war eher mäßig, aber für amerikanische Verhältnisse noch ok. Störend war allerdings die geringe Größe des Frühstücksraums (nur ca. 5 Tische) und die enorme Hitze dort. Für längere Aufenthalte würde ich zu einem anderen Hotel tendieren, aber für die Durchreise war das Ramada absolut ausreichend.

Wir waren eine Woche in diesem sehr schönen Hotel in Calrsbad und haben uns von der ersten Minute an wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel ist in warmen erdigen Tönen im amerikanischen Townhouse-Stil eingerichtet und gemütlich beleutet. Alles war geschmackvoll weihnachtlich geschmückt und es roch nach Zimt, Amber und Tanne. Wie angenehm! Kein amerikanisches Plastik-Pracht Hotel. Unser Zimmer zur Ozeanseite ausgerichtet war extrem ruhig und ausgesprochen gepflegt. Das extrem hochwertige Bett und die Daunendecken ließen uns wie Gott in Frankreich schlafen. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich und sprach uns stets mit Namen an....ich mag das sehr. Wer gern gut isst, kann hier eines der besten Steak Restaurants Kaliforniens besuchen. Unbedingt vorher reservieren und mit mindestens US$ 60 pro Person rechnen. Es lohnt sich!

In Carlsbad blühen überall Butterblumen. Diese Blumen wachsen auf einer Fläche von über 200.000 m² auf den "Flower Fields" der Carlsbad Ranch. In der Nähe dreht sich im Museum of Making Music alles um amerikanische Kompositionen und Instrumente. Im Norden wiederum liegt Oceanside in der Mitte zwischen Los Angeles und San Diego. Dieser Strandort ist bekannt für seinen Landungssteg, der mit fast 600 Meter Länge der längste Holzlandungssteg an der Westküste ist. In der Nähe befindet sich auch der Legoland-Themenpark.

The room was very clean and bed was comfortable but the walls are to thin you could here everything. It was to much noise. If your lookin for quit dont stay here.

"Hidden gem within Carlsbad"
My wife and 3 young children thoroughly enjoyed our experience here. Room was spacious, the staff was very courteous, the pool was big and heated just right, the breakfast buffet was outstanding...I would definitely come back again without any hesitation.

Access to activities near hotel, easy. Room is kind of dated, but clean. Accommodations does not justify the weekend rates charged. Overall it fit the occassion. Don't think i'll stay again.

The staff at the desk and in their small bar were all first rate. If not for business, I would have continued to shop around for a more economical choice. Free internet, but really expensive breakfast for what is pretty much included at other places. If you've got the $$ to spend then good recommendation

The hotel and staff were terrific. We were close to the beach & legoland. It was nice and quiet. Breakfast buffet with hot/cold items...yummy. They have a driver ready to go to drop you off at the surrounding areas. We felt like it was truly a vacation. :)

We stayed only for a night and it was quite good, but it was disappointing that we couldn't use the pool, it was closed during the morning on the day we left.

Our stay coincided with the stay of a young girls softball team. The hotel put us right in the middle of this group that spent the day and night running up and down the halls.yelling and squealing. The accommodations were nice staff was helpful. They have a 3:00 check out time that made everything much easier in terms of checking out. If you plan on doing business or just vacation you actually get to use the hotel on your last day no need to get a late check out or pack your bags and get someone to hold them.
"Dated"
Despite the outside which looks contemporary, the inside of the hotel was dated, very dated. The king bed was extremly soft adn the furnishings were tired. On the bright side, the kitchen staff worked tirelessly and the breakfast/dinner was excellent by mariott standards.

set in a seemingly out of the way area, beautiful surroundings but, very convenient. you think you're miles away but, are only 3 minutes from Lego land and shopping. You can almost never go wrong with big name hotel brands; Marriott, Hilton, etc.

I stayed there as I was running the Carlsbad Marathon and it was on the website of the race. It was a little further out than I expected, but not too far. It is close to the airport but we didn't hear any noise. The staff was very nice and there was free fruit out for us at check-in. "Great Hotel when going to Legoland"
This hotel was a great option when taking the kids to Legoland. The breakfast buffet was great, although not included in the hotel price. The best thing was the free shuttle that takes you right to the entrance of Legoland. No more paying to park or walking a mile to get in. "Had a good stay"
My stay here was good, they let me check in early so that was a plus because I was jet lagged from the flight over from Hawaii. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The only gripe I would say is the fact that they have not updated to flat screen tvs yet and the tube tv in the room was not all that great. Overall had a good stay.
the courtyard was close to my son's home....He and his wife and daughter joined us for breakfast one morning.....breakfast is great....

Family trip to Legoland, and this was the perfect spot. Got in really late...staff was ready to assist us and was very friendly. The location was great, close to Legoland and VERY quiet! Room was very clean and appeared recently refurbished, and was large enough for the entire family. I highly recommend and would stay here again!

The hotel was what we expected. Our experience with the breakfast staff was less than desirable. One hostess in particular was rude and ignored any request I or my coompanions made. From getting silverware, after numerous requests we finally had to ask the omelet chef. to getting our bill we waited at least 15 minutes for it. Finally went to the front […] desk for help. "Nice Stay"
We only stayed one night, but it was very nice in our room. It was clean, comfortable bed, and ample room for my husband, myself and our 3 year old. The staff was very nice, as we were greeted by any staff we saw on our way to or from our room. We had a view of the pool from our room and it was nice. We didn't stay and lounge around at all it was just […] basicaly a place for us to sleep between the beach and Legoland, but it was very nice and would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay by legoland. Location was quiet, and in a very nice neighborhood. If you are going to the beaches or Legoland, they are both within 5 minutes. Downtown S.D. was about 20-25 minutes. 4 night stay - service was excellent from check-in to check out. Staff seemed to genuinely care about any concerns. Rooms were clean and quiet, beds extremely comfortable, better […] than the $1200 matress set we have at home. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by this hotel on several occasions. "Great Location for everything"
The shuttle service was very helpful. We could save the parking fee ($12/day) at the Legoland every day. People are very friendly there. Rooms are clean and quiet. Many places to go for eat. Costco and Premium Outlets (about 90 stores) are about 2-3 miles from the hotel. Great and convenience location but the hotel is surrounded by nice tropical trees, […] and very quiet.
