Das Hotel liegt 3 Minuten von der Bahn entfernt, die alle 15 Minuten zum Ortstarif in die Innenstadt fährt. Fahrzeit 20 Minuten. Zimmer und Bad sind klein, aber für einen Städteurlaub ausreichend. Frühstück ist reichlich und im Zimmerpreis enthalten. Wir haben nur einen Nachteil erleben müssen : Durch eine Lüftungsanlage wird ständig kalte Luft ins Zimmer geblasen, und das im April bei 8 Grad Aussentemperatur. Im Bad konnte man heizen, das Zimmer blieb kalt. Zumindest im Winterhalbjahr also nur zum Übernachten empfehlenswert.

...aber in Bezug auf Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis Top! Die Verbindung zur Innenstadt Stockholms ist Dank der fast im Minutentakt fahrenden METRO sehr schnell zu erreichen; allerdings muss zuvor noch mit der am Hotel liegenden Buslinie 110 oder 112 gefahren werden (ca. 6 Minuten zum Bahnhof), aber das nimmt man angesichts des Super- preises incl. ausreichendem […] Buffet in Kauf! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und die Innenstadt ist mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln gut erreichbar.In der Umgebung befinden sich eher Baumärkte und Industriegebiet. Aber das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war ok.
"Mornington am Flughafen Bromma"
Prima Hotel mit gutem Preis/ Leistungsverhältnis, sehr guten Betten, Hartholzfußböden in den Zimmern und einem akzeptablen Frühstück. Die Lage etwas außerhalb ist OK; wer in's Zentrum von Stockholm will, zahlt mit ein paar Euro für den Bus und die U-Bahn weniger als das Parken kostet. "Hotel sehr gut"
Der Aufenthalt war im Allgemeinen sehr angenehm. Man bekommt eine Codekarte immer nur für 24 Stunden Internetzugang. Das ist ein bisschen nervig, sich immer eine neue Karte zu holen. Aber wer einen Leihwagen hat oder mit seinem eigenen Wagen kommt, hat schlechte Karten. Parken ist von 18 Uhr bis 8 Uhr frei. Klasse Hotel zu gutem Preis. Mit Bus und S-Bahn ist man in etwa 30 Minuten im Zentrum. Das Frühstück ist wirklich sehr gut mit großer Auswahl. Die Zimmer sind sauber und einfach gehalten aber dennoch schön. Allerdings sollte man sich Ohrstöpsel mitnehmen, da das Hotel direkt in der Einflugschneise des Lokalflughafens liegt. Dieses Hotel liegt 7km ausserhalb des Stadtzentrums von Stockholm und mitten in einem Gewerbegebiet. Daraus erklärt sich der Übernachtungspreis. Das Hotel ist neu und mit der besten Ausstattung, die für 3Sterne möglich sind. Da ich mit dem Auto anreiste und es in einer Seitenstrasse kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten gibt und gegenüber sich ein grosser Supermarkt […] befindet, habe ich den besten Deal überhaupt gemacht. Das Hotel hatte eine sehr gute Anbindung zum öffentlichen Verkehr. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr vielseitig. Das Zimmer verfügte über eine Klimaanlage und war komfortabel eingerichtet. Die Lage des Hotels in der Nähe des Flugplatzes Bromma war unproblematisch. Der Service war exzellent.

Far from the city but still easy to reach by bus from central Stockholm. Rooms are average for a business hotel, with large and comfortable beds and plenty of space and a generous amount of electric […] sockets for your laptop, mobile phone etc. The only detail detracting from a top report is the basin, which is made from some plastic, which has cracked rather badly around the outlet, creating a rather unsavoury impression. Hotels in Sweden are mostly on the high side when it comes to cost. Mornington is situated roughly half an hour by train + 5-10 mins by bus. Directions to get there are pretty straighforward. Other reviewers were accurate. The good news: good value, restaurant/bar, large grocery nearby, bus lines nearby, friendly staff. Then there's the other side: small rooms, remote location, 30 minutes or more from downtown by bus and train. The front desk staff were rather dry and dare I say a bit cold. I've stayed at many a hotel in Stockholm so I try to distinguish what is rather typical Stockholm behavior from personality types. This is a decently priced hotel in an overpriced Stockholm. The distance to the city center has been of no concern, since we had a car. Mornington hotel is a bit far away from the centre, but local buses go quite frequently between the hotel and nearest tube stations such as Alvik and Brommaplan. Our room was very clean with plenty of light coming throuh half-wall size window. Breakfast buffet is good.

The Hotel Mornington is a good value for the price in the overpriced Stockholm area. Facilities and comfort of the rooms are excellent. There is adequate Wi-Fi Internet access and international cable TV. The staff are excellent and very helpful. The only drawback is the location of the hotel, which is not close to any suburban train or Stockholm area […] metro station, although one is under construction nearby. There are decent bus connections on three separate bus routes to metro stations and suburban train stations, however. "Not What We Expected For The Price"
Here it goes... The hotel itself was a quality place but the service was often terrible. I say often but not always. Some staff members were amazing but the ones who were rude made the stay undesirable. A particular staff member comes to mind in fact! The location was quite a ways from city centre and the public transit was a little hectic to understand […] first off. Construction and low flying aircraft made for some noisy mornings as well. Another off the wall experience was our bathroom sink falling to the floor and smashing on a return from the city centre one day. The staff were very helpful and upgraded our room and provided a free dinner at no charge. Though I would have to say my hotel experience was all over the place in positive and negatives the amazing scenery of Stockholm made my overall experience a positive one. "Excellent basic accomodation"
I just spent 8 nights in the single windowless room at the Mornington Bromma, and was quite impressed. The staff, room, common areas, breakfast bar, and meal I had in the restaurant were all excellent! If you are traveling via Arlanda, it's a bit of a trek to get there (Flygbussarna, commuter train, and blue bus totaled about an hour), BUT, there are […] blue and red bus stops right on the corner. These will easily connect you to the t-bana (metro) or commuter trains to be at Stockholm University or the central city area in an easy 30-40 minutes. There's also a grocery and Wal-Mart department-type store close by; however no other meal choices/restaurants. Their own restaurant was decently priced for Stockholm. While the room was windowless, it was an excellent price, was otherwise well-lit, quiet, spacious, very comfortable and clean–excellent for sleeping, which is all I needed it for. I definitely recommend for a comfortable, basic stay! Mehr

I was surprised that this budget priced hotel was so good! The atmosphere is something between a hotel and a ski-lodge. The location proved no problem as it has the 176/177 bus stop which uses the same pass-card as the tube, and takes you directly to a choice of 2 tube lines (Simply choose the line that minimises subsequent tube changes).

We had a nice stay at this hotel. Although it is a little out of the way, it is easily accessible by the green line commuter train and a 10 minute bus ride from Alvik to the hotel.Staff was wonderful, answering every questions and helping to solve any problems we had. The breakfast buffet was good at the hotel restaurant but dinner had limited choices and was a little expensive. Food was good but not exceptional. The location is terrible - not only is it far from downtown (bus and then metro, in total ~20 min.) but theres nothing around it as far as food or shopping. Youre sort of on an island out there. That being said, it is a cheap place and theres a good gym upstairs.

The hotel was not the same as in past. The atmosphere was not friendly. I did not feel welcome as before. The hotel seems to be on a health club type of arrangement. They should make their mind up--do they wish to be a hotel ,or cater to health club persons? The elevator was also in a state of repair, unfinished. Looked ugly.

I would highly recommend this hotel if one is looking to stay in stockholm and have access to a rental car. Firstly, it atleast half the price of other hotels in city centre, secondly, the rooms are very spacious, thirdly, there is no charge for car park and even for internet access and finally for the price we gave, we also got a sumptious buffet breakfast. Further, […] the staff is young and extremely friendly and helpful and while the drive to main stockholm areas is about 15 min, it just seems worth it stay away from hustle and bustle. One negative was the gym on the top floor and if you are staying underneath the gym, you could get woken up if someone is burning calories at 6 am on the treadmill. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights only, for leisure.The hotel looks old from outside but is really nice inside. Breakfast was great, the room clean, quite small but I'd say that European standard. Good value on a budget. Room small but clean and functional. Nice breakfast in the morning. Big negative is it's kind of in the middle of nowhere as regards going out for a bite to eat or have a drink. Also a bus and metro ride to the city centre.

Hotel excellent value for money (particularily at weekends) and best breakfast buffet I´ve come across in Sweden as it includes hot choice and not just usual cold spread. Location is "out of centre" but buy a SL travel pass and it is no problem. Very helpful staff. "Comfortable hotel - service not great though"
It's a comfortable hotel with a very good breakfast included although the staff aren't very friendly or welcoming. Maid service was erratic with various items being removed and not replaced each day I stayed. Depending on connections it is about 30-45 minutes by public transport to the centre of Stockholm.
