Wewee veryplased with or stay atbaymont. The ony thing Icould suggest is the breakfast served. It was stocked fully, and the sausage gravy & biscut served wasn't very tasteful.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel while attending a family member's funeral. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful - they even allowed us to check in almost 2 hours early! Our room was spacious, clean, and inviting. We would definitely book there again!

"A great place to stay"
We really enjoyed our stay in Cookeville. The staff was more than accommodating, and the cleanliness and comfort of the room were excellent. We were really tired when we checked in, and the staff made us feel welcome and even made fresh coffee for us. I will definitely stay there again.
"Something bit us all night"
This is a pet friendly hotel however we do not have any pets so they put us on floor 3 which supposedly is pet free. The hotel room smelled like wet dog. My husband was covered in small red bumps in the morning that looked like bug bites more then a rash. When we informed the girl at the front desk she said shed let someone know and that floor 3 was […] pet free! I would have at least appreciated an apology. "Good except fitness equipment"
Hotel is great if you don't care about using the fitness equipment. Like many budget hotels that say they have a fitness center, the machines don't all work. If you want to get in a workout, don't stay here. Not qualms otherwise.

"Baymont-Cookeville"
Hotel was nicer than most 2-Star hotels. My only issue was that the description stated refrigerators in rooms but staff informed me that management opted for flat screen TV's instead of fridges in standard rooms. So don't expect to have a refrigerator unless you go for a suite! Price was a little more than expected for a standard room!

"Pet Friendly Hotel ???"
The hotel is supposed to be pet friendly... they allow pets but don't like them, they were not even people friendly on the night shift when we checked in. Morning shift was nicer. I think they save the worst rooms for people with pets and this is the first time I have had to pay that much for my little dog, the room was right next to the elevator on […] the 4th floor, carpet was very stained and there was an odor in the room. It was clean, quiet and convenient. Didn't understand why they tried to charge me for the use of the security box when I checked in at 11:00pm and checked out at 7:30 am but they were friendly about canceling the charge..

The hotel staff was very helpful and provided great customer service. The hotel was clean, organized and well maintained. The only issues were the a weird smell in the hall and the king sized bed was a little uncomfortable. Overall, this is a great hotel for the price, I will stay in the future if I have the need.

The hotel was okay for the price, comfortable beds, a good location off i-40 and had plenty of eating establishments around to choose from. The breakfast was the typical free toast/bagel/cereal breakfast, the hot tub was not working, and our room had a dehumidifier in it and had a funny (not necessarily bad) smell. The hotel was clean, easy to find and was close to several restaurants and main highways. We were pleasantly surprised. The continental breakfast was a bit sparse but otherwise we have nothing but good things to say.

Close to I-40, local to many restaraunts, new construction, large rooms, cold A/C and excellent AM breakfast break week days. No complaints value is worht the Hotels.com price - stayed 2 days and nights on weekend July 4th holiday 2011.

"Baymont Inn"
The hotel was nice but the first room they put me in really smelled like someone had been smoking. I ask to be moved to a different room because of the smell which they did. However, that room was no better. The hotel was clean but you could tell people had been smoking in them.

Room felt moist and the noisy wall air conditioning unit didn't help. Expected a more updated hotel with it being so new. Most reviews were favorable so we were disppointed with our stay. Would probably choose a comparable hotel with thermostats and flat screen TV's....costs a small amount more, but would be worth it!

"They Got It Right!"
Great experience. Friendly, helpful staff. Super clean rooms with more than enough towels. Very good breakfast - as good as many restaurants in the area. Exceded my expectations. For $10 more than the Super 8 I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location right off I40. Hotel was clean and brightly lit. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Many good restaurants are close to the hotel so getting something to eat was very easy. Continental breakfast was also very good. Will definitely stay here again.
