gut für wenige Nächte, Zimmer war sauber, Kochecke in Ordnung!

I was concern at first because of the price but its a great location and clean hotel room. Quiet at night.

The room is good location & business district area, with plenty restaurants & supermarket around for conveniences. Not forgetting, free "WIFI". Be sure to get a "Non-Smoking", and be stern on the request to ensure the room.

Our registration, booked three months before our arrival, listed a non-smoking room. Yet upon arrival we were told there were none available even though the parking lot was never close to being full during our entire stay. Secondly, the bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Third, we had no maid service the entire stay. We have never stayed at a […] hotel that did not provide maid service. Overall we were not happy with our stay and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The rate was good but the accomadations were subpar! Mehr

Unfortunately we've got a smoking area room. That was bad. The smoke smell was so strong that our clothes kept the smell until they were whashed.

I was greeted at the front desk with a welcome smile and friendly service. My room was clean. The location was perfect for the convention across the street at expensive hotel and I saved 1/2 the cost of the big hotel. I used the microwave, the supplied dishes & refrigerator to save even more on my food budget.

This hotel met my expectations. Please note that these units are not cleaned everyday which puts a tremendous amount of wear and tear on the units. I had a non smoking room and my blanket had too many cigarette burns. For the price, I was comfortable. I would probably stay at the Quality Inn down the street next time. Many smokers would smoke outside […] the room. The issue is that the air intake for the air condition/heater was just right outside your door so smoke would enter the studio apartment. Again, I wasn't spending time in my room... just sleeping and I was able to get a decent nights sleep. Finally, stay on the 2nd floor which is the top floor. Mehr

I stayed at the Homestead for its low cost. 1. But I did not expect to be ripped off my being charged for internet service. The add did not lie, it was in all the rooms, but you had to pay in advance to use it. 2. The beds are worse than sleeping on the hard floor. They were as hard as a wood floor. 3. Was very happy on our New Year stay, since it was a block from the restaurant that we brought in the New Year at great time. Would do it again.

Location great, facilities great, the service on desk good, but the main issue was the room, looks good but smell so stinky, apparently the carpet and also from the bedroom come a bad odor. The pillows looks like a towel, so used and thinner. Next time I'll not stay there.

It was my birthday weekend! The reception at the front desk was pleasant her customer service was great! The rooms was nice. Air condition. Has to be oerated on the wall it took a minute to find out how it work! After that I slept like a baby thank you hotel. Com for a pleasant stay I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends

Staff was friendly and helpful. Pool was too cold but probably not heated. There was a bit of mold on the shower curtain and the shower/tub divertor stuck but I enjoyed the kitchen efficiency and I think it was good value and well located for my business purposes. I would consider returning.

a/c needs filter attention/ hard bed but...for the price whatcha gonna do?

I wasn't expecting perfection, but I was also not expecting to find roaches in the room. This was dissappointing to say the least. Management did offer a Gift Certificate so that helped. I left a can of RAID..

I had a great stay overall, but, there was a repetition of an incidence that bothered me very much. I checked in the first night of my stay and requested a late check-out. I suppose the front desk person forgot and housekeeping came into my room after only knocking a couple of times to which i replied/yelled that i had requested a late checkout (I was […] naked because i had just gotten out of the shower). I then called front desk to let them know. I went on with my day and decided to stay another night because of the hotel's economic rates and convenient location. The same thing happened again the next morning. I also requested a late check out and had housekeeping knocking on my door and the front desk ringing me on the telephone. Other than this, I recommend this hotel because of in-room kitchen and it being 15 min from most points of interest in the area. Mehr

I would not recommend this hotel to my worst enemy. The bed was the MOST uncomfortable thing I've ever tried to sleep on. You will not get any sleep. Though, the staff was very friendly and nice and it does have a great kitchen space for such a low price. Just not worth the backache.

We stayed here with my son. I saw roaches a couple of times in the room. I also didn't like the fact that when I had to rebook the hotel a second night, they wanted to charge me more than the first night. After saying i would find somewhere else, they backed down.

A clean hotel room at a low price and conveniently located. Would stay there again.

i DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE HOTEL SINCE i'VE NEVER STAYED IN CLEAWATER BEFORE, AND THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN, NICE KITCHEN SIZE, AND IT ACTUALLY HAD HOT WATER, QUITE FAR FROM THE BEACH, BUT THEN AGAIN IT WAS GOOD TO COME BACK TO BE ABLE TO REST WITHOUT NOICE, NO BAD SURPRISES HERE.

This place is very dirty and it is more of a place where people live out of.

Pros: Cheap, close to panera bread and supermarket, and few other business centers. Decent rooms for the price, pool. Considering the rates of other hotels around the area, this is the only cheap option. Onsite laundry facility, and helpful front desk staff. Cons: If you're staying more than 1 week, your room is cleaned only once a week. Shady/annoying […] characters sometimes stay at this hotel - I saw cops come by one night to check one of the rooms. "Free internet" is extremely slow - 512kbps. Noise from upstairs rooms permeates well into downstairs rooms, so get the downstairs rooms. Mehr

I have stayed at the Homestead several times and the last time I stayed in July was not pleasant. The hotel is becoming drug infested. I will not stay there again and I will not recommend anyone to stay at the Homestead. I did not know that Homestead became Extended Day, that's the problem. Alot of drug dealers is staying there.

The hotel was in a good location relative to what I was expecting to do. However, I had to wait a while at check in. The staff was nowhere to be found. When the person arrived he barely looked at me and my friend and just handed over us the key telling me where to sign the paperwork for the room. The room smelled like cigarettes and the comforter was […] not clean and also smelled like cigarettes. The toilet was stained a bit. I think I would try and find somewhere else to stay next time I'm in the area of St. Pete/ Tampa. Mehr

The room was great for the price. But I sort of questioned how safe it was. Other guests were a bit sketchy, and there was a list of safety tips on the back of the door, one being "don't draw attention to yourself by flashing money or wear expensive jewelry."

The hotel was fine. The only thing that bothered me was that they closed the pool for cleaning on a Saturday.

bedspread had 2 cigarette hole burns right through spread; I couldn't find the cups for the coffee until 20 minutes before i left - they were under a cabinet - no glass in the bathroom, no decaf coffee. The room overall was clean, but beat... no elevator

The price ofthe hotel was ok....and so was the service. No one never came to borthered about changing towels or cleaning up the room, I was not pleased with that at all. Over all my stay was just ok I am not sure if I wiould do it again.

stayed here before - once again no suprises.

This is a good hotel in a location accessible to 275 South and the Gulf beaches. The kitchenette made it easy to save money and time on food, although there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Staff was pleasant and room was clean. Price was affordable and certainly much less than staying at the beaches. I would definitely stay here again.

Courteous front desk staff .Room convenient to parking area / quiet.

My experience with the Homestead St. Petersburg on Ulmerton Road left room for some improvement, but at the price I paid it would be impossible for me not to recommend the place on sheer affordability. Most of the problems were minor, anyway. The front desk veritably REEKS of mildew -- something I presume the friendly and accommodating staff has been […] there too long to notice anymore. The bed had a sheet and a counterpane but no blanket, which made climate-control for comfortable sleeping a little trickier than it needed to be. The dining table in my studio had a fine but noticeable layer of dust on it. The batteries in the TV remote were dead. The wifi internet log-in was only valid for the first night, after which I would have had to pay. The neighbors are all working stiffs living there short-term, so it was impossible to sleep in after about seven-thirty, for all the door openings and closings. The window curtain was opaque with no inner translucent, meaning that the only way to have privacy was to shut-out all evidence of natural sunlight. There was no bottle opener in the kitchen. All things considered, for forty-five bucks a night, I can't *really* complain. It was not inconvenient to either downtown Tampa or downtown St. Pete. both of which I visited during my three day, two-night stay. Recommended for the value-conscious and not especially picky traveler. Mehr

Hotel staff was unfriendly and not helpful. Had a great location and awesome price. However we were in a smoking room (by accident) and the sheets were significantly dirty. I came for some tampa ray games with my boyfriend and we are both college students so for us to find it dirty really says something.

Homestead was an absolute dollhouse! The room was immaculate- they had the air-conditioner on perfect for our arrival-enough towels, all appliances were as if never touched and I cannot wait to stay there again!!!!

My stay was over exciting; the room was clean but I had light pillows and covers not suitable for the freezing direct flow of the air conditioner. I found myself spending more time adjusting the air to get comfortable than lying in the bed. Also, I had to pay for WiFI sevice and ask for extra pilow that never arrived, until 3 hours later. Hotel was clean, some noises in the room, had to pay an extra $5 for internet. Having a Panera next door was cool.

The room had a sour order when we walked into it and it did not go away. The staff however were very helpful, but I would recommend they check the HVAC in their rooms. I may recommd it to someone.

The hotel was clean, staff friendly and room comfortable and it felt safe. panera bread is directly next door, so it was nice for breakfast and internet because the hotle did charge a 44.99 charge for internet use. I was surprised that it had a small kitchenette, refridgerator and pans to cook with. It wasn't that close to the beach, but for the price […] and cleanliness, it was worth the 20 min. drive to the beach. I would definetly book this hotel room again. Mehr

I may have missed it but I couldn't find a trash can in my room. Just saying! I had to book a smoking room but was promised a non-smoking room at check-in. I didn't complain, but I felt I shouldn't have had to since I had been promised one. Other than that, the room was acceptable.
