Homestead St Louis-Airport - Bridgeton

From the outside the hotel looked modern and updated. However when we got inside it lookde old and outdated. The carpets were warn and old. The wallpaper was outdated the hallways looked dirty and outdated. The room was ok, but the bed was something out of a cheap resale shop. Warn and broke....we only stayed one night. I enjoyed my stay at your hotel and appreciated the early checkin, however, the rooms need an exterminator. I found a dead roach inside a cup under the cabinet when I was making coffee.

A bit difficult to get to but not a deal-breaker. Room was OK, could have used a new shower curtain. Will probably stay there again.

The room we stayed in looked clean and neat, however the problem was an odor that kept me up most of the night. It was a musty smell that possibly was from the carpet having been wet at one time. Given the fact that there was a plunger by the toliet, this seemed like a real possibility.

Don't expect exceptional service because you will not get it. The rooms are not bad but the housekeeping staff are just barely meeting standards. The front office will get you what you need if you can catch them at the desk.

Neighborhood was nice but the hotel is a little run down. Got what we needed a place to stay for the night for cheap. If your looking for cheap its your place if you want fancy stay at the Hilton across the street.

I was very unsatisfied with the condition of the rooms. The bathroom had a used box of kleenexes in it and the tub looked like it had been attacked by some sort of grinder. Needless to say we were not willing to shower or bathe in it. The whole room had an odd smell and the condition of the kitchen area was not the best.

This Hotel was very "COLD" not really for family. Front desk closes at 9pm so you have to figure out how to get assistance to check into your room.

The room was clean, and the price was low. The hotel was by no means pristine, but I would stay here again.

It was a Great price, easy to get to, clean and had friendly staff. I would recomend it to everyone.

A very decent place to stay for quick overnight. Room was clean/ comfortable, had kitchenette, flatscreen tv. Great for my overnight stop before returning rental car & flying out of STL. Note, it's in a hotel circle -- go to the end of the lane to find the hotel.

Bed was as hard as a rock, and had eiher bed bugs or fleas. The shower didnt work, was loud in the hotel, not enough sound barrier.

Do what you have to do and get what you pay for. Staying there takes a few days getting used to. Difficult location. Turn in the Crown Plaza entrance. Go back behind Embassy Suites. Then you are Home. Phone inside FIRST door will contact night clerk. Staff is friendly and helpful. Carpeting in hallways completely stained. Room stank like weed from […] people next door. Bed was older mattress. Toilet flushed itself every ten minutes. During 4 days no one came to tidy room or bring fresh towels. Air from wall heater smelled funny for a while. You better keep an eye over your employes, specially the one that works at the front desk!!!

Great value for the money. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Bed not very comfortable.

The only downside to this hotel is finding it! If you don't have a navigation system it is directly behind the Crowne Plaza right off the highway. Other than that, service was great, I slept well, people were very ncie. Everything was clean.

The hotel was very clean. The room was spacious, but very outdated. Not enough pillows on the bed. For the price it was accomadating.

The hallway carpet to my room had stains and was dirty and need to be shampoo. The carpet in my room had stains and need to be clean. The window was wide open. Lucky were on the 3 rd floor. The security latch on the door was broken off. The beds were hard as a rock. I kinda knew by the picture on the internet that the decor needed some updating. But […] the refrigerator was dingy. The shower and bath tub was dingy too. But the straw that broke the camel back for me was the ring around and rust stains in the toliet bowl. I wasn't going to stay the 2nd night. Mehr

I needed just a quick overnight stay - didn't need amenities or anything more than a place to sleep and house my things before an event the following day. I was very much impressed by the location (right by the airport and surrounded by other nice hotel properties), the staff (front desk attendant was fantastic), decor (not a palace but not scary), […] and the cleanliness (wasn't frightened to walk the floor barefoot). I can't believe no one has mentioned how NOISY this hotel is. The walls are paper thin, you hear every door slam and people talking in the hallways. I got absolutely no sleep and ended up leaving in the middle of the night. This is without mentioning the other issues with broken door locks and the room not being clean. Difficult to find at night

This is a basic room for a basic price, but it was nice that it had a kitchenette. The beds weren't comfortable though and we were told they were pillowtop beds.. I think there was mold in the bathroom shower area.

This hotel was a fantastic price and I would definitely stay there again. The lobby, hallways, and room were all very clean and comfortable. Don't expect much in the way of service, but if you're just looking for a comfortable place to rest your head without emptying your bank account, this place fits the bill. It was quiet and comfortable and the property […] looked to be well maintained. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to travelers, even if you aren't going to be staying for an "extended stay" this hotel is worth checking in to. Mehr

Would stay again and again. Room was spotless and bed very comfortable.

I stayed at this hotel for one night. The front staff was very nice and helpful. I was in a smoking room and there was no ashtray. It was in a nice location but the inside was questionable. The carpet was old and the air conditioning did not work that great.

The place was nasty and the room was not good at all. Shower and all over bathroom had MOLD!

The room was nice but there was not enough pots and pans. There was a plunger in the bathroom and I had never seen that before in all my hotel stay, The staff was very friendly. The refrigerator never frooze the ice and the way to all liquids cold, you had to put them in the freezer which was colder than the refridgerator but never freeze. WOW. I enjoyed my stay. Clean room, faucets worked. Has kitchen, clean showers, tv all working.

DO NOT EXPECT TO HAVE YOUR ROOM CLEANED EVERY DAY AND DO NOT EXPECT TO HAVE THE NORMAL HOTEL ROOM SERVICES. SERVICE IS A HYBRID BETWEEN AN APT WHERE YOU SUPPLY EVERYTHING AND A HOTEL WITH SOME OF THE AMENITIES. PRICE IS COMPETITIVE WITH LOWER RATED HOTELS BUT NORMAL HOTEL AMENITIES NOT INCLUDED.

This is the worst motel i have been in my USA life... The water in Kitchen Sink which was not draining and i told them immidiately, they could not solve it even i finish my over all stay. this is the worst experience in my life evr and this is the costly hotel than Quality inn or other motels which was pretty good and i moved to those other motel after […] this motel experience. The hotel looks nice from the outside. Horrible inside. The second floor was dirty and my room was like I was staying in a crack house. I have too many negative things to post so I will just keep it short by saying that you get what you pay for. Customer service is horrible and the rooms are very dirty and smelly.

Check In was quick, simple and easy. The staff was friendly and welcoming. For the price the hotel was well worth it. The only issue we had was with the bathroom floor. Found hair on floor as if the bathroom was not swept since last vistors.

I just needed a place for an overnight stay for very early morning flight from Lambert. The hotel was a good value for this purpose. Might also be a good value for a family on a budget.
