I liked that the room came with fridge, pots and pans, and a stove. Overall, I enjoyed the stay, expect for the fact that I struggled with the shower a bit to turn on the hot water since it hasn't been used, probably, in a while.

Assignment to a non-smoking room involved some discussion with the front desk personnel who asserted that internet reservations do not actually reserve anything specific at their hotel. However, they were eventually able to find a satisfactory room for me. This motel is very close to the Ft Worth Zoo and near the TCU campus. The property is actually […] located on the Trinity Trail which makes it very convenient for a runner. Although the room decor was a bit dated, it was clean and there were no bed bugs. There was an indoor toilet with running water, air conditioning, and all of the appliances appeared to function. This was all I needed. Mehr

Hotel for persons working long hours nearby, with desire to save money on accommodations. Very limited space, amenities, comforts, TV channels.

This hotel is a dump. Does not deserve the ratings I saw prior to making the reservations. There were major bugs in the room. All the rooms I was moved to were filthy dustballs, mold, hair in bathtub. Stay away if you want a clean room. We checked out after 1 night

very clean, comfortable, well-stocked (clean towels, coffee, etc.). I highly recommend this property.

I stay here every other week.

After a late show and dance the room smoke alarm went off at 5:30am but only for about 20 seconds.. then at 5:40am it went off again for about 20-30 seconds. I could find nothing wrong and tried to go back to sleep but that didn't happen. Got up at 6am and left. Not a pleasant stay but certainly could have been. Oh, while trying to turn on the light […] I mistakenly hit the radio button....was on loud as it goes and no station. That put the icing on the cake to get out because it wasn't going well at this point. Should have told the main desk but believe she told me they opened back up at 6am and we were outta there. Mehr

This is an older motel but very clean and hotel staff izs very nice and helpful.

I would recommand this hotel to anyone. The boy at the front desk was wonderful. The maid service did not start banging on motel doors in the early morning. I will stay there again.

Unclean, uncomfortable bed, no ammenities

Internet didn't work, microwave didn't work, asked for shampoo only to find the bottles empty and dirty, motel staff with bad attitude and unresponsive to requests to fix things- horrible expereience.

Even though we paid for internet., it wasn't working, the phone service was broken too. I requested a room downstairs cause I have a baby, they didn't want to. I needed to ask a question regarding check-out, the guy there was helping another person making a plane reservation?? it took so long, i had to go. I wouldn't stay there again ,if I have to.

I stayed here for a few nights for a TCU graduation because all the other hotels were full. I thought I wouldn't like the fact that there was no housekeeping service, but in fact it was relaxing to know that no one would be in my room when I was gone. The rooms were clean and well kept. They provided what was needed and it was quiet and private. The lady at the front desk was very accommodating, caring and friendly...her name was Cheryl! She made sure we had all we needed.

First room smelled like an ashtray. Im a smoker and it was intolerable. Night manager was extremely nice and moved us to another room. Second night absolutely no hot water. Same night manager tried to help again and offered for us to shower in another room. We didn't but it was a nice gesture. Below average cleanliness of rooms. Apparently this hotel […] is where all the rail workers are housed. Up all hours of the night loud drunk amd overall obnoxious. I took my .45 with me every time I had to get something because of the overall shady character of the property. Would not recommend this location to women or younger kids unless your packing. Convenience is the only reason we stayed here because we needed to be at the will rogers collesium every morning by 6 am. Night manager has the professionalism and courtesy of a 5 star concierge. Too bad the property sucks. My advice to him was to apply at a nicer hotel. Its the equivalent of an nice guard in a federal prison. Hope this helps!!! Mehr

Great place to stay for inexpensive TCU visits. Near campus.

Close to Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth. Restaurants such as Macroni Grill and 'ol South Pancake House were close by. Room was good and comfortable. Ask Staff for extra pillow and it was delivered quickly. Location on River Run was initally difficult to find; thereafter it was easy to spot.

Although I didn't make use of the kitchen, it was nice to have it available.

Great hotel for a short stay

This was my second stay at this facility, a year apart. Other reviewers have had mixed experiences. Mine was favorable. For example, one other reviewer complained abut construction noise next door. True - but all construction activities stopped at 4:30 PM, so noise was not a factor during sleep time. This hotel makes no pretense of being a luxury place, […] just a good clean place. It fulfills it's role well. Very clean room, comfortable beds, etc. The kitchenettes are very plain, and very minimally equipped. There is a Central Market a couple of miles away! Two quality restaurants just across a parking lot, and several more across the (busy) street. This property, while not luxurious, provides very good quality for the dollars spent. Mehr

For the money, this is a great value. There are shops, an ATM, bus line, the zoo and other attractions nearby. I didn't even need to use my car. The check-in staff was frazzled- from being very busy -when I arrived, but I visited with her in a pleasant manner and she became relaxed and very helpful. We stayed here for graduation. I booked 6 months in advance to make sure we had a room on this busy weekend. The hotel was rather run down, but the worst part was that we had requested a non-smoking room and were given a smoking room. When we asked for another room, they simply said that they didn't guarantee that a room would be non-smoking and wouldn't […] move us. There was no way to find another place to stay on such a busy weekend. Mehr

Near TCU and downtown. Watch out for huge pot hole dips as you turn onto the River Run road and getting into parking lot. Room isn't vey big, so don't plan on having people over.

For any of you that have seen "My Cousin Vinny". This hotel is about a mile from the train depot and throughout the night a train would come about every 5-10 minutes blowing it's horn. Did not get much sleep the 2 nights I stayed.

Very comfortable, cold a/c. Only suggestion is take some more pillows from home as the 2 we had were kinda flat.but otherwise the room was fine
