Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport - Richmond

had choose the hotel for our first night in Vancouver after arriving from Switzerland. The connection from and to the airport is via complimentary shuttle, to downtown via Skytrain in 20 minutes. The staff was very helpful at every point of contct from Check-in to room Service. I was greeted with a friendly smile every time. Great hotel i would definitely recommend it to others. If i find myself in the area in the future i will choose The Radisson Hotel Vancouver Airport.

Overall it is good location, friendly and helpful staffs, clean, free parking, reasonable for the price. I do not care for the coffee pot, cups and tray set In the bathroom. The bathrom has no fan. The first night, the room has mini fridge. The return night, the room does not have a mini fridge as advertised.

Room service menu was worse than the menu in the restaurant. In fairness, it was Chinese New Year and I am not a fan of Chinese food. My room was on the side of the elevated train. The noise level at times was not acceptable.

Very pleased with our stay at the Radisson in Richmond BC. Staff were courteous and helpful; they even cleaned the snow off our car in the morning. Unbelievable! Extremely nice hotel and was as reasonably priced as any of the other airport hotels. The rooms were very comfortable and we had the BEST SLEEP we have ever had at a hotel in the sleep number bed. I was heading back home after having surgery and the staff were amazing. They arranged our room for a speedy early check in, added an extra shuttle in between […] their normal shuttles which usually run on the hour so I wouldn't have to sit in the uncomfortable airport chairs any longer than I had to, & were generally very professional but compassionate. We found the restauant a bit expensive but the food was very good. Our only complaint is that we felt like we were in Asia, not in Canada, when we left the hotel. All the signs are in Asian with English on very few of them. Even the Aberdeen mall was strictly Asian with very little English displayed. Bit disappointing to see what our government is allowing in our own country. Other than that, our stay at the Radisson was wonderful, would recommend it highly, & will stay there again. Mehr

everything was all good... my ONLY complaint was that the walls were thin. Everytime my neighbors used their sleep number bed, we can hear the motors running. Even when people were walking by the halls, you can hear them. It was a little annoying, but besides that everything was good.

Housing keeping service was not the best compare to my last 2010 stay at the Radisson. I was missing new bath soap and towel sometimes. Used smaller towers were not replaced after house keeping. Cups were also not replaced.

This hotel is a great location for post or pre a longhaul flight

The lights are not in working condition, only two mugs are available, and there are no glasses. The carpet looks dirty and the paint looks dated and started to peel.

decent airport hotel. only one complaint: the shuttle to the airport runs only once an hour. that's crazy for an airport hotel.

Excellent experience. This was the perfect place for us to relax after a long flight from Venice. We were obviously upgraded to a large view room. The transfers from/to the airport were prompt and courteous. Thank you

This hotel is in a very good location - close to many restaurants, shopping malls and markets. It is near the major highways and close to Vancouver airport. Service is excellent. We had a few minor problems, which were all corrected immediately. Would stay at this hotel again.

Solution - move the guests! No reason why the alarm went off in our room. Hair on the floor in the bathroom everywhere!

Only one minor issue arose with advertised meals discounts at the restaurant. Upon check out it was not removed from my bill. It was resolved quickly by the front desk clerk. Satisfied customer.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. We were very late getting in, and got upgraded to a suite. A lovely surpirse for weary travellers. Staff were very accommodating and respectful. We very much enjoyed our stay.

great location, spacious room,the only complain is the carpeting old and dirty, they should supply room with slipper.

This hotel is in the middle of Richmond right next to Yohan Asian shopping plaza. The Vancouver Skytrain station is just half a block away, so it is convenient if you are not planning to have a car. If you are driving, please note that this hotel is about 15 miles from the Vancouver city center, and it takes 30 minutes driving to get to downtown Vancouver […] since there is no highspeed freeway that goes all the way to Vancouver. If you like Chinese food, you are in heaven. Richmond some of the best Chinese restaurants in North America. There are hundreds on excellent Chinese (especially Cantonese) restaurants within 1-4 blocks distance. Some of the Chinese restaurants have fresh seafood specials for $8.99 a lb lobsters and $14.99/pound king crabs. Wonton noodles are excellent Hong Kong style as well. The hotel service is good. The hotel description advertised that they have the "Number bed", but our room didn't have it. The front desk was able to switch us to a room with the "Number bed", but I am not impressed with the Number bed though. The service personnel was always friendly and helpful. The rooms themselves are not that good. The hotel needs serious upgrade to maintain its 3 star rating. The bathroom has the damp smell, and our bed had either dust or hair. The carpet was dirty. Some of the door and window hardware were falling apart. Overall, if you are a single traveler or business traveler and don't stay in the hotel room much, then this is a convenient location with a reasonable price (half of the prices of hotels in downtown Vancouver). If you are a family traveling with a picky spouse and small children, this is not the place to book. Mehr

Very pleasant for a 1 night stay before getting a flight back. Staff very friendly, very clean hotel and served it's purpose for an airport hotel. Location being an airport hotel is not outstanding but you are not checking in there for the neighborhood or sightseeing etc. Is right next door to a T&T so you can grab water and my munchies etc. Overall […] would stay again and recommend it for the price no problem and has free parking also Mehr

Nice hotel - 5 mins from airport, friendly staff, nice room - very clean, nice bed, flat screen tv, etc. Good restaurant in the lobby and free parking right out front. Overall, very good value and a very good stay.

A great place to stay for an overnight in Vancouver before flying off to your next desitnation. It was easy to get to in our rental car and a quick trip to the airport for our early morning flight. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant on the main level off the lobby was serving food until 9:00 so we could get a meal that proved to be very enjoyable. […] The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would not hesitate to stay here again when in a similar situation. Mehr

The hotel is in a very convenient location however if you get a room on the side of the hotel next to the light rail be sure to bring ear plugs (we did) otherwise it will be difficult to sleep.

there is not much around the hotel. Next time I am Vancouver - I'll pass.

We booked only one night and the location was great. The King bed was adjustable but uncomfortable. We did not have time to check the breakfast or the pool. We'll try again next time however that bed was not great at all.

Although the room was fine - clean, big, quiet, the restaurant was not as good as it could be. The hotel details say there are a number of eating places in the local neighbourhood, but unless you like vietnamese food, there was no where else to eat but in the hotel. The menu was limited and my friend, who is gluten intolerant, was charged extra for […] additional vegetables instead of the ravioli. We had problems explaining htis to the wiatress who made us feel as if we were being unreasonable. Having said that, the hotel served its purpose which was a good night's sleep before my return to the UK. Not sure I would stay there again.. Mehr

we could not get good instructions on public transit. so after going out we gave up and came back to hotel. we only had 24 hours in vancouver and was hoping to see alot of the city. we also had trouble with vending machines. they were empty. my husband had to go to front desk which sent him to a market nearby, but that was aforeignstore and this presented […] a slight problem. that evening we noticed a gift shop which sold cold drinks....duh. mostly upset about public transportation. there was not anything located in this area. the hotel should offer rides for a fee to the downtown area and it would make it easier to sightsee. i would pay the fee. Arriving at Vancouver Airportat 12.45am female traveiling by myselt I made my way to the infoirmation desk as I had booked the Radisson for it's closeness to the airport and the shuttle service offered. I was advised that the shuttle would be about 15 minutes that was fine I made my way to the designated area and awaited the shuttle. I am female in […] my fifties travelling alone so after seeing several shuttle buses come and go and seeing some for the 2nd and third time I was becoming concerned. An airport employee asked if i was ok and advised me to ring the hotel on the free phone which I did. The desk clerk at the hotel advised the driver had a lot of pick ups and drop offs. At 1.45pm the shuttle arrived the driver apologised and said he had a lot of errands to do at the hotel. No good enough The hotel was fine but I would not stay at any Radisson again Mehr

The hotel was only a few minutes away from the airport. The shuttle service was prompt in picking us up and taking us back to the airport. The hotel was in a good location. There was a super market right next door and a shopping center across the street. The metro was on the corner and there were restaurants within easy walking distance. The room […] was large and looked as though it had just been redecorated. It was very comfortable. We had the buffet breakfast in the hotel dining room (not included). It was delicious and very reasonably priced. The coffee was outstanding. All of the hotel employees were very friendly. We would stay there again. Mehr

My family and I always stay at the Radisson whenever we visit Richmond because the service is great and the rooms are nicely furbished. We particularly like the comfortable sleep number beds because we can adjust them to our preferred level of firmness. We also like how Radisson is not only a clean but also a green hotel. For instance, you can choose […] whether or not to have your bed sheets and towels changed daily. The only complaint we have is with the low lighting in the bathroom. It needs to be slightly brighter to make it easier for the ladies to see themselves in the mirror when they're trying to apply their makeup. Mehr

Large well appointed room with a nice bed and bedding. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was slightly small but totally adequate. Generally, the hotel is in good shape but some of our furniture had small dings and damage. The hotel is centrally located in Richmond (new China Town). It is near many Chinese restaurants and retail. The Aberdeen […] shopping center is across the street. The Vancouver International Airport is only 10mins away. Mehr

Hotel is in a great location. Near the sea wall for running, skytrain and bus stops less than 100m away. Lots of Asian restuarants and fast food outlets nearby. We would stay here again.
