Gioberti Hotel - Rom

Nach der Ankunft mit dem Zug in Roma Termini war das Hotel Gioberti in 5 Minuten Fussweg leicht zu erreichen. Schon in der Eingangshalle empfing uns die angenehme Kühle der Klimatisierung, die auch bei 35 Grad Celsius Aussentemperatur keine Schwächen zeigte. Die Rezeptionistin war leidlich freundlich; das andere Hotelpersonal jedoch zeigte sich zuvorkommend […] und höflich. Die Lage des Hotels ist großartig, da sehr viele städtische Busse sowie die beiden U-Bahn Linien zum Hauptbahnhof führen und man somit die volle Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel geniessen kann. Das Zimmer war sauber, dank der Lätmschutzfenster ruhig und erstklassig klimatisiert. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr überschaubar, mengenmäßig jedoch ausreichend bestückt. Das Hotel Gioberti ist somit vorbehaltslos zu empfehlen, auch wenn die Zimmerpreise nicht gerade als Schnäppchen zu bezeichnen sind. Mehr

The hotel itself is very clean and modern. The staff was able to give recomendations for transport and eateries. The breakfast was included and delicious. I was surprised with the modernity of the bathrooms. The bed however, were not impressive. They were very hard. The hotel in general was good. However, its close promiximity to Termini made it far […] from all the major sites. If I were to book another hotel in Rome, I would try to be closer to the center. Termini makes it a hike everywhere- but you could take the metro and buses if you'd like. Mehr

My wife and I stayed with our two children (age 4 & 7) for 4 nights. We had a triple and they gave us an additional bed for no charge. Location is really good. Right next to the Main train station. Awesome late night food and drinks are available right next to the Hotel. Breakfast was good. Only complaints were the beds. Not very comfortable. Also. […] it was definately not a 4 star. Hotel is a bit old, but it was clean. Overall, for the Location alone, i would recommend this hotel. Mehr

This is an extremely poor hotel. We had booked a twin superior room. This room was not superior in any way and had 3 single beds in it but no-where to sit other than the bed. There were tea making facilities in the room but nowhere to plug the kettle except at floor level at the other side of the room near the bathroom where there was restricted floor […] area. No duvets either, just sheets and horrid scratchy blankets. The mattresses were just too hard also for comfort. we dreaded bedtime and woke up stiff and sore. We felt that we were robbed also when we asked about the wifi connection. We had to pay 10 Euros every 24 hours and wait for a new password (bringing to the room and standing there expecting a tip) Never, ever, ever will I stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I also thought it rather bizarre that there were only nice pastries and bacon at breakfast time on the saturday that we were leaving. This was definitely not because we were getting there too late, We are early risers and went for early breakfast. Hotel.com needs to dump this hotel. They have lost a fair bit of credibility now in my eyes. Mehr

Realy enjoyed ou stay at this hotel, very very close to station, so very convenient for transfer from airport and sightseeing bus. Very clean and friendly, breakfast great, rooms lovely, would recomend taking a travel kettle though, Rome hotels don,t seem to provide coffee making facilities ( need my regular caffeine fix ;-) ) this type of Hotel in […] London would have cost at least double what we paid, so all in all we were highly satisfied. Would also like to recomend, if planning on using the open top tour bus, book with expedia before you go, you will save about 7 euros on one ticket, love a bargain! have fun! Mehr

This hotel is clean with a friendly staff and nice amenities. The single room/ double bed that I had was comfortable all for the exception of the shower. However, I've stayed in other hotels in Europe and realize that space is at a premium. I was in two separate rooms on two occasions over an 8 day period and the showers in both were 2 foot square cubicles. […] Don't drop the soap!!! You can't bend over to retrieve it! Beyond that, it couldn't be more convenient to Termini Rail Station. It's a stones throw away, and also well within walking distance to many of the places of interest that visitors will want to take in. I would certainly recommend it to my friends. Mehr

We stayed here for 2 nights before our cruise, and were able to cover all major attraction by using the public transit. on our own

very close to the central train station ; however a very poor neighborhood. This hotel is no 4star; maybe a 3; air conditioning very poor; water drainage in sink poor;

The hotel was ideally located, only being around the corner form the main train station. Whilst the staff were very helpful and polite, the room had a number of issues including electric sockets not being securely attached to the wall, loose shower fitting so that the shower head kept on sliding down the rail and the kettle filled with lots of residue. […] Overall, I was surprised that this was supposed to be a four star hotel! This hotel was very close to the train station so that made it easy to trek there with our suitcases. I thought the staff was fine and did speak english. And the breakfast was very plentiful. However, I was very disappointed with our room as we had booked a tripple room and the third bed was a pull out chair. That was not explained to us prior to booking […] or I would not have booked here. It was very uncomfortable and for the price I expected a third bed. Overall i liked this hotel for my purpose of travel. The location is very nice near the lake. There is a very nice restaurant right next to it. There is no elevator or at least i couldn't find it, so if your room is on 3 or 4th floor taking your luggage to your room is not easy but the staff helped me. They really need to buy new towels as they were […] very old. No shampoo or soap and you have to pay extra for AC. The WiFi was free, which was excellent for me. The sheets seemed clean but had couple of small burn holes in them. My room had a balcony which was great because you could go out for fresh air. Overall not bad. Mehr

Very good hotel at the most strategic location for Rome visit.

Yes this hotel is one minute from the train station, but it was the most uncomfortable bed that I have ever experienced in a hotel. I was exhausted from a day of travel and had an early train, and could not sleep- it felt like lying on bricks! Also, the breakfast is Nescafe and piles of stale , sugary pastries

Very good location for our purposes. We wanted to be close to the Rome termini which is literally across the street. Within walking distance to many sites. Metro station is close. Tour bus Rome hop on hop off located in next block. Close to many excellent restaurants. We were very satisfied with the hotel. Breakfast was very good. We chose this Hotel because of its closeness to Roma Termini Railway Station. We did not have to pull our luggage very far after travelling. The reception staff were very efficient and our room was comfortable. This is an ideal Hotel if you are travelling to and from Roma by train.

Location is convienent but may not be safe if u are travelling late. Hotel serves only breakfast for rest of mmeals there are dozens of restaurants around.

Why come to Rome and have Nescafe for the breakfast buffet??? It met the need of someplace to go on a late flight from London. The mattress was good. it was quiet. The staff was distant but the number around befitted the number of stars the hotel has. But Nescafe!!??

We chose this hotel because of it's location near Termini Station. It was a 5 minute walk from the train. At first I was nervous as the neighborhood looked rough, but once we made it to the hotel, I was at ease. I never felt unsafe. The breakfast was great..good pastries! The beds were not comfortable at all, but we were sooo tired after walking around […] Rome, we didn't care. It was clean and the shower was hot. For the price, it was a great choice! Mehr

The only issue we had with the hotel was that they did not offer the free Wifi (in the lobby) to Apple phone users. Apparently it is a "technical glitch" they can not fix. It was a big deal for us since that was our ONLY way of connecting to the internet...we had to plead with them for 30 minutes before they found a solution. They finally provided 4 […] free internet hours under a different carrier that would allow for internet on our phones. I don't think it should have taken that long for them to understand why it was important for us to use the internet. Location is pretty good, farther than I'd like from the st.thomas square. Mehr

Great Location Rooms Adequate Good Breakfast

It said it is a 4-stars but it is so old and rundown. It is like back to 1970s. The only good thing is the location of the hotel which is very closed to the Rome Termini station.

Best A/C I had in Europe. Also good location

Excellent location to go to take the train, walk to take the bus, small restaurants around if you need to grab a bite late at night. Close to the termini station. Two elevators (good as elevators are small in Rome). Good breakfast buffet. Good bread juice, and cold meat.

Siste dagen ble ikke sengene ordnet. Vi var ute til ca 15:00 - hadde så en ca 2 timers hvile på rommet hvor vi hengte ut skilt med "Ikke forstyrr" . Vi forlot rommet igjen 16:50 og hang ut skilt om at rommet kunne ryddes. det ble ikke gjort. Ellers greitt - selvfølgelig noe støy fra gaten - men med lukket vindu var det ganske stille.Dette er nok et […] 3- stjerners hotell - ikke 4. Mehr

テルミニから近いので、今回二度目でした。 次の日までの一泊でしたが、まだ寒かったので冷蔵庫の電源が入っていなかったのはOKですが、バスタオルがなくフロントに電話しようとしても番号がわからず、結局出向きました。 でも、駅から近いし、バスタブがあるから、まあ勧めるかな。

駅から近くとても便利です。 バスタブがなかったのが残念でした。 シングルでしたがツインの部屋でした。

ほんとに駅の前です。バス移動（１ユーロ）も簡単です。玄関すぐ左にスーパー有。 清潔・スタッフよし・静かさよし・暖房よし・冷蔵庫の飲み物安・でした。女一人旅でしたが安心して泊まれました。少し難点はシャワーがボックスタイプでほんとに一人用で洗うだけ用！と、朝食はパン（冷たく、トースターなし）とゆで卵・カップヨーグルト・ハム、チーズ一種類ずつ・飲み物ととても簡素でした。野菜や果物がなかったのでスーパーで買い、持込ました。ダブルのシングルユースを選びました。優雅に過ごすことが目的でなければ、値段に見合ったホテルでした。

酒店离罗马中央车站只有200米，很方便，周边环境较乱，早餐尚可。

チェックイン時に対応して頂いたフロントの方が無愛想でした。携帯の充電をしたく、変換プラグを借りたい旨伝えたところ、ホテルでは用意していないとのこと。値段は安いホテルですが、四つ星を掲げているのであればそれぐらいの準備はしておいてほしいところです。プラグが無いと言われたホテルは初めてでした。部屋は広く十分なスペース。暖房の効きが少し悪かったのですが、そこまで気になるほどではありませんでした。立地も駅前で便利なところです。もう少しサービスを上げれば、最高のホテルになると思います。

駅に近いので、どこへ行くにも便利でした。部屋は広く快適でした。朝食も満足です。インターネット接続がとにかく悪く、特に部屋に備え付けのキーボードがダメで(何回か代えてもらっても同じ）、有料なのに時間だけかかるという状況で、しつこく対処を要求しました。持ち込みPCでも接続の確認が面倒でした。スタッフは最初はあまり愛想がありませんでしたが、後半は「またか」と、笑いながらも親切丁寧に様々な要求に応えてくれました。

家族4人でホテルを利用しました。部屋は非常に広く清潔感があり良い感じです。できればもう少しシャワーの水量があればと感じましたが、問題ないレベルです。 朝食は一般的なものでした。 立地条件はとてもよく、テルミニ駅まで徒歩2分。 各観光名所へ地下鉄やバスで移動を考えている方にはとても良いロケーションだと思います。駅にはスーパーもあり、とっても便利でした。

테르미니역에서 걸어서 5분이내입니다. 위치로는 최고입니다. 주변환경은 붐비기는 하나..그닥 많이 거슬리지는 않았습니다. 밤에 주로 잠만 자러 들어오는 경우가 많았으므로...로마에서 3박을 하였습니다. 로마로 도착하고..로마에서 다른지역으로 이동하신다면 테르미니에 가까운위치의 장점으로는 추천해 드리고 싶습니다만..가격대비로는 시설이 조금 낡았습니다. 대부분의 로마호텔이 그러리라 봅니다.

Realmente el hotel no presta servicio de cuatro estrellas ni esta en condiciones de parecerlo esta muy próximo a termini pero en una zona de muy mal aspecto no lo recomendaría para familias ni para estancias de mas de un día. Es caro para lo que ofrece

エキストラベッドを入れて、4人で泊まりました。広さはまあまあでしたが、部屋は薄暗く、バスルームにはゴキブリがいて、清潔とは言えない部屋でした。スタッフは無愛想でしたが、しつこく要求すると応えてくれました。値段と立地を考えれば、贅沢は言えないという印象です。朝食は、朝一番に行かないと料理がなくなります。ハムとコーヒーはおいしかったです。日本人の団体さんが来たときだけ、メニューが充実していたのは笑えました。 　ホテルドットコムに支払い済料金のほかに、ローマ市税として、一人一泊あたり3ユーロをチェックアウトのときに徴収されました。
