Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 20. Jan. 2013Wir hatten von Deutschland aus gebucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht! Es gab ein Zimmer mit einer integrierten Küche, das Geschirr war sauber und Herd, MIcrowelle und Kühlschrank funktionierte einwandfrei! Sollten wir noch einmal nach Oregon fliegen, wird das sicher wieder unser Hotel! Wie in USA üblich, lässt die sich die Sauberkeit mit deutschem aber Standard nicht vergleichen, aber in diesem Hotel kam es schon sehr nah ran ;o) ! ! Es gibt kein Frühstück und der "Shop" ist nicht wirklich erwähnenswert. Es gibt einen Raum mit zwei PC´s die von den Gästen genutzt werden können. Freies WLAN ist auch zu haben. Die Menschen an der Rezeption waren durchweg total supernett!! In fuläufiger Umgebung ist ein tolles Diner mit dem Namen Sharies, welches rund um die Uhr geöffnet hat. das haben wir leider erst auf der Rückfahrt entdeckt, empfehlenswert sind die Blueberry-Pancakes ;o)) Also, wer keinen Luxus erwartet, wird hier nicht enttäuscht.

Die war die ganze Nacht im Dauerbetrieb. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war ganz ok. Das Frühstück war im Preis dabei und für amerikanische Verhältnisse ganz gut.

This was my first time staying in downtown Portland. This hotel was perfectly located near the central square. It was a short walk to everything. I travel to Portland fairly often on business and, prior to this stay, I hadn't heard of the Paramount. I will try and stay there from now on! It is not a big hotel and therefore it is quiet and has an intimate feeling. The rooms are large and very comfortable with separate showers (I hate standing in a bathtub for my morning shower). The staff was […] extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel is located right in the heart of downtown..close to the museums, great restaurants and Portland's famous food trucks. "It's really just OK."
The hotel is overpriced. it really isn't all that nice considering what they want for a room. I do like to grab snacks and sodas out of vending machines occasionally, and the way they have theirs laid out is pretty ridiculous. There is a vending machine on about half the floors, which will either have snacks or drinks - not both. Of course they tell […] you which floors have which machine, but fail to mention things like "Oh, by the way, one of our drink vending machines has nothing but water in it. Good luck figuring out which one." Valet parking is convenient, but at 31 dollars a night, they're pushing the limits of my laziness, since there is a parking garage maybe 150 feet from where you drop your car off. And apparently if you book on hotels.com, they feel absolutely no need to give you a decent view. Ours was a killer look at the neighbor's dingy rooftop AC unit. "Awesome stay and location"
The hotel staff was very friendly and prompt. The location was amazing, we walked every where downtown. The room was very nice and spacious, the bathroom was large also. The hotels appearance was clean and it showed in the rooms as well.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

We stayed here one gorgeous weekend in March. The location is really fantastic - central, walking distance to nearly everything you would want to do in the central core. Was very unhappy with the misleading pictures from hotels.com. It was NOT what they show you online. I payed twice the price to stay here than I would have if I had gone with a hotel I was familiar with. I wanted a nice room and what I got was not that. "Convenient Location, Well-Priced, and Comfortable."
My friend and I were extremely satisfied with the Paramount. The location of the hotel was just perfect for myself and my friend, as we were within walking distance to all the places we wished to go. I nearly didn't book this hotel due to the steep hotel parking rate, but luckily read another review about a cheaper over night parking lot just 3 minutes […] walking distance away from the hotel! In addition, the size of the room, bathroom, and the comfort of the beds were also appreciated. I'm so happy I was able to find something comfortable and affordable. This was our first time staying at The Paramount Hotel in Portland. Check-in was speedy and the people at the front desk were friendly. Our room was clean, comfy, roomy, and stylishly decorated. We even had a balcony with French doors overlooking the square. We also made use of the hotel's complimentary business center to print some documents which […] was very convenient. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown and close to great shopping, restaurants, bars, and attractions. "Fantastic experience, no complaints."
I was in town for a quick business trip. The hotel was clean, easily accessible, and the concierge, Ed, was the most helpful person ever. He gave us all of the best dinner options and then called ahead to the restaurant where we got special treatment per Ed's instruction.
