Embassy Suites Phoenix - Biltmore - Phoenix

In general, it was a very nice hotel. Very convenient to shopping and the shuttle service was a very nice perk. The one thing I didn't agree on is the charge of $25/day for incidentals. I realize it will be credited back to my card but why charge it in advance. Also, if we had parked there it was indicated to us that we would have a daily parking fee. […] After we have already paid a hotel fee, it seems the parking should be free. We did enjoy it there all in all. The breakfast buffet was amazing as I am sure the cocktail hour is as well. We did not attend that since we were out there visiting family members. Standard Embassy Suites fare here, large rooms over a central common area. Service was really poor however, no fresh towels from the cleaning service and the front desk staff didn't follow through on much (or anything). Still nice enough people, a clean and comfortable bed and large rooms for a decent price.

good breakfast, nice lobby. internet access is $15 except in the business link, where you can use their computer. pool area is small.

Hotel staff was great. We needed heat in our room and they said that the heating system was turned off for the property and they gave us a space heater to heat our room. The water to the bathroom would not shut off and hot water ran 24/7 for the week we were there.

My five old college friends and I just completed a lovely four-night stay at the Embassy Suites - Biltmore and recommend it wholeheartedly. The staff was welcoming and inviting and anticipated our needs. Although the hotel is not new, it has been re-done and the rooms were very comfortable and up-to-date. The magnificent atrium, complete with meandering […] pond and koi fish, was a great space to eat our delicious complementary breakfast and sip our coffee. We stayed five nights during the holiday season and found the hotel to be quiet, friendly, and still in the heart of the city. We were close to shopping, museums, great restaurants (and in our case, family).

This is an outstanding hotel that we love to stay at. It is right in the middle of most things we need and in a very nice location. We recommend this hotel highly.

We were celebrating the college graduation of a family member. It was a great value because at least one meal (breakfast) was "included." That was a big help, for those family members who had to pay for airfare to be there. The breakfast was great! We were all pleasantly surprised. The evening reception was nice too, various alcoholic drinks were free […] and made to each guests liking. My family was partial to the blue margaritis! The hotel was slow to remove the food trays set outside for room service's pick-up. That was a bit of an eyesore, kinda sloppy. The hotel placed some of the family members in the basic rooms, despite having prepaid for the upgraded pool view rooms. Otherwise, parking was free and easy. The Biltmore shopping center next door was great. Only 10 minutes from Sky Harbor airport, and 20 minutes to the nearest casino. There was plenty for everyone to do, so there was less of a need to keep everyone entertained. We would stay there again and will even look to stay at other Embassy Suites on future travel. Mehr

The location is what is nice about this Embassy Suites, right near Biltmore area, LOTS to do, and you cannot beat the Embassy Suites deal - Manager's Reception and Breakfas is great. Front desk staff very courteous and professional. The property is a bit dated and need some renovation. While there are only 5 rooms on property that are smoking rooms, […] still smells of smoke in many rooms (we switched rooms to higher floor and still smelled a little smoke). Mehr

Hospitality at its finest... Great location and great staff and amenities. Can't wait to go back. The best French toast in tow4n!

Good value!

It's bad enough that the hotel charges an exorbitant rate for a wireless internet connection, but to charge that amount for each device in the room is unconscionable. I wirelessly connected my laptop and was charged a daily fee. When I connected by cell phone I was charged the same fee again. After speaking to the manager the second fee was reversed, […] but she stated that the multiple fees is company policy. The room rates are high enough without having to gouge guests. The hotel stay was nice overall, we really enjoyed the omelet breakfast in the morning. The mall is very close and easy to walk to, pool and lobby nice and clean very kid friendly. The only thing about this hotel that really upset me was the false advertising at the time of booking it states parking at this hotel is free. Well it turns out "it's not" […] once you check in you are told you will have a daily fee to park on the premises. I believe that as a guest there should be no fee for this. Rooms are spacious and clean I really had no issues with anything in the room, though it would be nice if they would have DVD players in the rooms for the kids movies. Mehr

This is one of the worst Embassy Suites ever for numerous reasons. 1) They charge for parking. 2) They charge for internet. 3) Room service dishes and trays stayed out for most of the day. 4) Elevators were broken. 5) Swimming pool was cold. 6) Atrium smelled like sewage. 7) Bathroom fan ran but was clogged with dust. Time for new management to clean […] the place up and fix up this run down hotel. I recommend to stay somewhere else. Mehr

The lobby is spectacular, but there were a few problems. The room that I shared with my mom was okay, but it smelled moldy and musty, and the bathroom had hair in the tub, as well as some mold and dirt around the bottom of the tub and in some of the grout on the floor. It would have been 'great' if not for the smell in the room as well as the dirtiness […] in the bathroom. My brother and his girlfriend were in a room on the floor above ours, and their room had no musty, moldy smell. They detected the smell in our room the second they walked in. Mehr

Free drinks in the evening; free hot breakfast in the morning; relaxing atmosphere.

We had a two-room unit, which accommodated three women very nicely. we each had a sink and mirror for our morning and evening preparations. This was unexpected and totally appreciated. The double beds were a bit too soft for my comfort, but everything else about the furnishings was beautiful. The evening of free coctails and free breakfast omlette […] with any thing else you could think of for breakfast was super! Great value for the price. Mehr
