Excellent hotel. Clean and very friendly. Great location. Would stay there again.

The hotel was great and the service was good, but what they don't tell you is even though it is a Disney hotel, you still have to pay a fee to self park your car, a misc fee that they don't really explain what it's for, and a fee for using the phone and internet service even if you don't use either one in your room. Good value for a Walt Disney Hotel with the Extra magic hours and disney transportation. Staff were friendly. Rooms are somewhat dated, but nice bed. Problem with green service- didn't realize that also means that they don't pick up trash and replenish toiletries. wouldn't recommend Todd English restaurant. We love that the Swan and Dolphin are so close to the Epcot Center and the Hollywood Studios. If the boats to the parks are over-loaded you can also use a walkway (10 min to Epcot, 15 min to the Hollywood Studios) - we really appreciate that. The beds are comfy and the room was always clean! We would definitely come back.

I've been to WDW many times. I even used to work for the mouse as an intern right after college. I thought that the location of the hotel was amazing - it is a 20 minute walk to 2 parks (Epcot and Hollywood Studios), and a 5 minute walk to the Boardwalk. If you don't feel like walking (and we usually didn't), then there's a ferry ride to both parks […] as well as a bus service that runs pretty regularly. Do yourself a favor and take the ferry when you can - it's peaceful, quick, and fun. Also - the ferry places you right between the countries and the future world in Epcot - a really great location because you can skip the general chaos at the front gate! The exterior of the hotel is a bit outdated (I'm not really a fan of Michael Graves art on pretty much anything...), but the gardens are beautiful. The rooms are really in good shape and the view in almost any direction is amazing. You can usually see the fireworks over the parks if you happen to face that side. We visited three of the restaurants that the Hotel has to offer - the Sushi restaurant (can't remember the name right now), the Italian restaurant (Also can't remember), and the Garden Grove restaurant. All were excellent. Everyday the room was cleaned very well and the staff were friendly. All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel! If you choose it you will not be disappointed! Mehr

I found this to be a great place to enjoy the Disney Magic. Our room had a balcony with great views of The Boardwalk,the boats,and Epcot in the distance. From here you had water transportation to Epcot And Hollywood Studios. A ten minute walk to Epcot And less for Boardwalk. Food is pricey. All in all A great place.

best non-disney hotel located inside the growns of Disney!!! short boat ride right outside the door of the hotel to several parks and shops

Although this hotel comes with the usual Disney quality when it comes to the staff, the services, etc., the hotel is WAY overpriced. You are paying for service & convenience more than anything else. The room furnishings were on par with many mid-range hotels that cost half of what the discount price was for this hotel. There was nothing exceptional […] about the room. My family with young grandchildren were staying on in Orlando after our departure. I had prepared a large bag of food items for them. This bag disappeared from my room the night before checkout. No resolution as yet, very unhappy.

this is definitely a 4 stars hotel considering it has resort type of facility but i could only gives it a 3 stars because the facilities, for instance, the swimming pools are poorly maintained. The water in the pool is sadly to say, dirty. we could see leaves floating on the water. our kids said the water tasted funny, disgusting when they ingested […] it by mistakes while swimming. customer services are not bad but someone checked us into ar wrong room the first night. instead of a room with a boadwalk view, she checked us into a room with a generator view. furthermore, the room is unclean, we killed a roach! We got a good deal through hotels.com, but we didn't get any less service or convience than others that paid more. The room was very nice and the beds are out of this world! Went to epcot and loved that we could take the complimentary boat shuttle to the gate!! Loved the ammenities at the hotel. We do think the swan paddle boats should have been included […] in our resort fee and not extra, however. The property is beautiful and since you have use of everything at the Swan and the Dolphin, there was lots to choose from on diining, store items, etc. Can't complain about a thing. Do wish they had complimentary bathrobes and a lazy river like the Omni. Both 4-star hotels, so the Swan should offer the same, as well as some cookies with the bottle water at night. Mehr

Great location for epcot and studios, you could walk to both, although the short ferry boat provided is also nice. Bedroom not very sound proof as could hear conversations and taps running in adjacent rooms. Fantastic looking hotel and an enjoyable stay.

Unfortunately we had very bad lumpy mattress and the mattress from the pull out was extremely thin ...the bathroom was tight quarters with the door barely missing the toilet bowl so giving the kids a shower was a real challenge.....we had to call 3 times within 2 hour span before getting extra bedding for the pull out and extra towels. Great location, however the hotel room itself was mediocre. But I am not one to spend that much time in the actual room anyway? The pool(s) were great, and open 24 hours, though the towels are locked up at 9pm. The fitness center(s) were well appointed and very nice. Overall, a pleasant stay.

Very bad experience, the room has a terrible smell to hunidity, people are not really nice, never coming back to this hotel

The location is so convenient. However, our room had a litany of problems, and we had issues with the housekeeping service. Our a/c didn't work for the first night; the coffee maker kept shutting off, and the refrigerator only kept food somewhat cool. Also, the resort fee is supposed to include two waters. On two of the four nights, we had to ask for […] the waters to be delivered. They also gave us two decafs and no caffeinated coffee one day. That said, the hotel clerks were very pleasant quickly resolved the issues. We enjoyed the pool and the location (so close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios). charged me for some resort package which I did not use or requested. Insisted that hotel.com had requested this? I paid it for 4 rooms no choice.

My sweetheart and I just spent an enjoyable weekend at the WDW Swan. The two of us are annual pass holders and, with regard to Disney-affiliated accommodations, have only stayed at the value resorts previously. The Swan and Dolphin are actually Westin hotels, and our past experience with that chain was favorable, so we figured we'd give it a try. The […] Swan did not disappoint! I can't imagine there's a more comfortable bed to be found at another hotel anywhere--so comfortable, in fact, that we gave a bit more consideration to sleeping than sight-seeing. We had an unexpectedly pleasant view of the surrounding hotels and parks. The bathroom was a good size, and I especially liked having a vanity outside the main bathroom with a second sink and shaving/make-up mirror. The pool shared by both the Swan and Dolphin was lovely, and we took advantage of the nearby bar. Also, we enjoyed a terrific breakfast at the Swan's Garden Grove restaurant (having Pluto and Goofy there was a plus). The location of the Swan is one of its best features, placing guests in walking distance to the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Club hotels and their restaurants,etc. You can also take the Friendship or enjoy a walk to Epcot. And, there is a prime viewing spot for Epcot's nightly fireworks in the vicinity. Fantasia Mini Golf and Hollywood Studios are very close by as well. Some may not favor the Swan because it isn't "Disney" enough, but I don't need mouse ears embedded into every surface for me to feel immersed in the Disney magic. Whether you're traveling with children or not, I think that the Swan is a wonderful option for your WDW vacation. Mehr

I HAVE BEEN STAYING IN THE DISNEY AREA FOR 25 YEARS ON VACTION AND I CA N TRULY SAY THE SWAN WAS THE WORST HOTEL I HAVED STAYED AT( HOTEL ,COM SHOULD TAKE THEM OFF THEIR LIST. DOES NOT DESERVE A 4 STAR RATING.

Its worth a little extra money to be within walking distance of so many disney attractions such as the boardwalk and to be able to take the boat from just behind the hotel to Epcot and Disney Studios. The pools were fabulous as well. You still have to shuttle to Magic Kingdom but its the first stop on the shuttle ride to and from the park. The rooms […] don't have movie channels or on-demand movies but there is so much to do that it is a waste to be in the rooms anyway. Mehr

Awesome room and facilities. First class all the way and on-Disney transportation. Not really a value hotel though.

Our overnight stay was not long enough!!! I loved the Hotel and the people that worked there were very nice. We weren't able to find a room at the Dolphin resort for that date, and booking thru Hotel.com, we got a GREAT discount price for the one night we needed in Orlando. I will surely use Hotel.com again in the future. THANKS!!!!

... be advised that, even though the Swan is located right on Disney property and walking distance to Epcot, it is NOT a Disney hotel and, therefore, does NOT qualify for the free airport pick-up. Also, they tack on a $12-per-day 'resort fee' on all bills, which is ridiculous and gives a very nasty surprise at check-out. (If they need $12 more a day, […] just raise the rates and be honest about it. We could see up front what we're paying). Even though it's a great hotel, I would NOT recommend it, just because of these deceiptful practices that feel very sneaky. Mehr

The Hotel is on Disney property and is right near the Boardwalk, Epcot and Hollywood Studios. However, this hotel is not run by Disney and does not have the Disney atmosphere you would expect if you have stayed at a Disney hotel before. Overall the hotel was fine, but the pool did not had enough waitresses to serve the area. Besides that matter the rest was fine.

A magical experience for my family. We definitely enjoyed every moment and are looking forward to our next stay.

Very convenient to all parks and shopping. You can go and do at the parks or just relax at the hotel. It has enough to keep everyone entertained. Very nice and clean. Only thing I didnt like was to pay for parking and a resort fee. Other than that, Wonderful.

The Walt Disney World Swan Resort Hotel is a great place to stay and experience the "Disney" feeling. It is conveniently located near Epcot (short boat ride) and the other parks (short bus ride). I was for 2 nights and it was a nice experience for my family and 3 year-old son. Breakfast with the characters, transportation to the parks, etc. BUT... The last night we had dinner at the restaurant and we had to leave the stroller outside on the front desk area as prompted. With all the commotion of the characters and being dead tired from the parks, […] we completely forgot about the stroller. Next day when we were checking out we finally realized about the stroller. We called Lost & Found but it was more LOST than found. In other words, somebody took it. It was our mistake, our fault, but nevertheless... Mehr

Great pool area. Exceptional service. Rooms setup well for families. Shula's Steakhouse (at the Dolphin) is incredible. Expensive, but definitely worth it.

Overall good hotel. Didn't know about an expensive mandatory hotel charge for internet access and bottled water. Wish we had brought our computer and that the staff had remembered to put the bottled water in our room. Food was pricy, but too be expected. La Fountain was not a good restaurant - yucky food. The others were fine. Wished the buses to return […] to hotel from the parks were a little more frequent at night. Overall, it was fine. A good choice to be near the parks. Mehr

If you are traveling with the family or in a romantic honeymoon this is a great place to stay. It has great playing areas for the kids and great restaurants for a romantic dinner. The restaurants are a little expensive but it is worth it. The service is great and awesome food. My kids really loved the pool area and playing on the sandy beach. All the […] pools in the property are shared by two hotels the Swan & the Dolphin and it has everything for you to stay active (Volleyball, Soccer, gym, and basketball court), or for you to relax and read a book.(Saw lots of people relaxing and reading). One of the restaurants in the Swan hotel also offers dining with Goofy & Pluto so that was a great surprise for my family. Awesome hotel!!!!! Mehr

Hotel had great location. Walking distance to Epcot and Disney Boardwalk, short boat ride to Disney Studios. Great pool for kids. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great location and much less $ expected!

lets see... the valet guy darn near ran over me, I literally had to jump up onto the hood of the car he was driving so to not get hit, then our A/C in our room didn't work and woke up sweating our behinds off @ 1am, then when they put us in a different room some molding fell off the wall onto my head...then disney busses are supposed to run to the parks […] every 20 minutes and we had to wait 45 minutes for our bus to the Magic Kingdom and almost missed our dinner reservations at the Polynesian. Would I stay here again, heck no! I would rather stay off property in a Howard Johnson than stay here again, at least there I know I am getting crapola! Mehr

The room that we stayed in did not look like the pictures portrayed in their advertising. It was clean, but the bathroom was old.
