Liked that the hotel was near Times Square

The staff was very helpful and the hotel is well-located on the southeastern edge of Times Square. Our room was on a somewhat lower level (26th floor...I believe the 23rd is the lowest), but we were never disturbed by city noise and still had a decent view. The subway is only steps away and, naturally, taxis are plentiful here any time of day or night. […] There's nothing spectacular about the bar/lounge area, but nothing to complain about either. We have been to NYC many times and stayed at a wide variety of hotels, but we've stayed twice now at the Hilton Times Square and been very happy both times. The room was always clean and spacious and the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. We had our 9 year old with us and had room service for breakfast each day. They brought us free pastries […] for our 9 year old each time! So nice! Will stay here again and again. Mehr

Very clean, comfortible, and good location. For the money I thought it was a good value. I would stay there again.

Wow! Got a great rate during March of 2012 and loved finally staying on 42nd Street. This is an interesting Hotel with the main lobby on the 15th floor. There is a lovely bar with great views and comfy places to sit. My room was awesome with a great view of 41st Street and the surrounding high rises. Loved the gym with a few treadmills (with a view!) […] or TV's for those that watch the news and workout. They even had weights and a few options for those needing a full workout. I loved how convenient this hotel was to everything NYC has to offer. Usually the rate is a little out of my range.. but consider me now spoiled having spent a few days at the Hilton! Mehr

Great Hotel if visiting TIme Square for business or pleasure

If you are going to Times Square, stay here. Easy to get to from Lincoln Tunnel, just pull up on 41st side for valet parking. Park in the Port Authority garage for self parking. Great staff and nice room. The Hilton timeshare sales person at the elevator needs to go.

I love this notel. It's a great location but you can go toward 8th and avoid the crowds. Plus you are right at the subway for most trains.

Absolutely loved this bed soooooo comfortable i over slept by two hours

I'm not usually this picky but why would they not supply you with full bath towels.

Close too everything. Good size room.

Would definitely stay again! Very friendly and helpful staff. Right in the heart Of everything. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Everything was 5 of 5 except the bathroom needed to be updated a bit. Great views, nice and unusually big room, polite and helpful staff. The location could not be better and the beds were very comfy. I will be back in the future. Of all of the hotels I have stayed at in NYC, this is the best and the price is more than fair.

I recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a centrally located, clean, elegant place to stay in New York City. Everything is at your fingertips: Times Square, the Subway, most tourist attractions are either walkable or within reach. The rooms are modern, spacious, clean and well stocked. I was very skeptical, given some of the negative reviews of neighboring hotels. But when we arrived, the hotel lobby was very clean, despite all the activity in progress. Very nice hotel. Excellence costumer service. Conceige very knowledgeable. Perfect location.

From the time we arrived until it was time to leave it was a positive experience. - The staff was excellent. The room was bright, larger than expected and very clean. Was actually very surprised at how quiet it was - especially considering the location. Right in the center of Times Square. Will definitely come again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Hilton Times Square. I would really like to commend Stephanie at the front desk. She really made us feel very comfortable. She had a great smile and attitude. Accomdating staff and wonderful location as well as overextending themselves to be better than most Early checkin was available Staff is wonderful Broke my wine bottle in storage Have not heard back on the resoultion there yet but expect it to be good.

The hotel was nice but upon arriving there was tons of construction. The first day we got there all elevators were out so we had to go and come back to check in. The entire stay the elevators were an issue. The hotel was very clean and we enjoyed our view of the city. My friends and I thought that the food and drinks at the hotel were outrageously expensive. […] Having never been to NYC before I have learned that I will not want to stay in Times Square again. The Staff allowed us to check in Early because they had rooms. My young daughter was very excited about a Mommy weekend and told the front desk and word got around because everyone on staff asked my daughter through out the weekend how it was going. When they didn't have pancakes on the Buffet which are my daughters favorite.. without us asking the […] waiter went to the kitchen and had them make some special. came out and told her that her weekend need to be perfect. It doesn't get any better than that!! The location is perfect ( Time Square).. right across from theaters and next door to Madam Tusos, and Ripleys, Oh and Starbucks is across the Street!! Mehr

great location nice hotel

This hotel was very clean and very well kept. The price was reasonable for its location. The location was great! The only con about this hotel was parking was difficult and they didn't offer a valet service. Great hotel and I would recommend to others.

A great place to stay. Close to major sights (either on foot or via Times Square subway 2 mins away).

It looks like outside is being updated, but inside needs changes as well. Rooms look tired and needs a face lift.

The staff at the Hilton Time Square was very helpful, personable, & interested in making our stay very pleasant. The reception area was very comfortable. It had a bar with a great view & a small restaurant if you wanted to have a bit to eat. Rooms were fairly large, modern, clean with comfortable beds.

The hotel is in a great sport with access to the main Times Square area and easy walking distance to all amenities. Check in was friendly and efficient the rooms were comfortable with great views of Times Square and the Hudson River! We only stayed one night but were very comfortable, the beds were great.

On top of that, the room was spotless, the hvac worked great and it had an unbelievably comfortable bed. Great location, overlooking Times Square or downtown. Go there. You won't be disappointed.

We had the best experience with our stay. The view from our room was amazing! In a great location for shopping, subway etc...

Apart from the fact that you have to get a lift to reception and then on up to the rooms, I loved this hotel. So convenient for shopping, sightseeing, very pleasant staff and comfortable clean rooms. Nice bathrooms also.

The hotel accommodations were perfect, staff was always available for any services you needed, hotel was very clean, and is in a perfect location in walking distance for anything you wanted to do.

I thought the hotel was worth the money. Construction going on so entry was a little tough. Only disapointing part was the cost of drinks at the Bar upstairs were absurd.

Nice room. Disappointed that there was no refridgerator, and disappointed that they did not want to cash a personal check for me, but otherwise very satisfied.
