Bourbon Orleans - New Orleans

The hotel was a nice surprise. It was clean, in a good location and nice looking. My only complaint was we had no chairs in the room even though we opted for the deluxe room. When I called they brought us what I would call a kitchen chair. I would think there should be a nice chair in the room for the cost of the room. However, the bed was comfortable […] and nicely made up and the staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed our stay. Mehr

This is a well located hotel, just block from Cafe du Monde and, of course, right in the Quarter. The beds are comfortable, the baths are roomy and functional. The lobby is attractive, but doesn't have a vibrant bar or restaurant - not sure why that's not working as well as it does at some other hotels.

Great boutique hotel in awesome location, quiet even though a block from end of Bourbon. Did not run into any ghosts either! Great service and comfort, would stay again on next visit.

The hotel was quite nice and I liked our room, but there was one BIG problem that is going to be hard to fix - the hallways are EXTREMELY too loud! Since the hallways are marble tile, all the chatter and footsteps going through the hall are loud and echo. Unfortunately since this hotel is so close to Bourbon Street, that "element" of partying types […] will be staying at this hotel often and they are LOUD, OBNOXIOUS and have NO CONSCIENTIOUSNESS for the other guests. We had to call the front desk three times (between 1-2:30 a.m.) to ask them to make one of the rooms turn down the music. It was a bachelor party. I am happy to say that your staff did respond and the music and loud hall raucous, and it did finally stop after 2:30 a.m. I do understand that it's New Orleans but not every person is there to party down till dawn and if that's not what you're in to, then the Bourbon Orleans is not the hotel for you. It's a shame the "element" will keep me from trying this hotel again. I truly think carpeted halls would make a HUGE difference on the noise factor, however. Mehr

The room was nice and even being on Burbon Street quite quiet - However, there was very little the hotel offered in the way of services - Concierge rarely on duty, hotel front desk staff not very well informed, hotel bar an afterthought - Location was very good

Other than the loud air conditioner ringing at the pool, the hotel was great.

Located in the French Quarter and close to all sights and restaurants there.

We checked in to this hotel which looked good online. They have upgraded the baths and lobby and we have no complaints with what they did. Their ads talk about a bar, it was never open when we were there. The pool area was nice but the sunny day we wanted to use it they closed it for a private party and never offered us any other choices. Their concierge […] was worthless, he told us cabs would be lined up at 4:00AM for our return flight and there wasn't a single one there. He only could hand us brochures if we had a question. We will definitely look elsewhere next time in New Orleans. Mehr

This Hotel could not be in a better location in the French Quarter. It is right by all the great restaurants and bars both straight, gay and everything in between. All employees are very helpful and go out of their way to be friendly.

Stayed one night. Loved the quaint atmosphere and attention in all the elegant details in the room and lobby! Excellent location, not loud in rooms. Across from Fritzels Jazz bar--hands down the best place for local bar jazz. Was not warned about second floor remodeling until noticed it in the morning. But loved the hotel and service. A great location when you want to be close to all the fun the Quarter has to offer. Very close to Jackson Square, and not to far from the Farmers Market area. Great staff and comfortable beds! I highly reccommend staying here during your next visit.

Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and the overall atmosphere was elegant, classy and romantic. The staff was great! Everyone was friendly and polite. I cannot wait to go back to New Orleans. I will definitely stay there again. The location is perfect if you want to be in the mix of everything but private and peaceful at the same time. This hotel is in a wonderful location in the French Quarter. It is close to everything. It is a beautiful old renovated hotel. The courtyard with the pool is grand. Our Deluxe 2 Twin bed room was large and comfortable and the staff was very accommodating. Our only inconvenience was the cleaning staff, you have to stay on top of them for full cleaning […] service. We had a great time there and I would return. Mehr

In the heart of the French Quarter, yet very peaceful. Some plumbing problem but was quickly taken care of. Would stay there again.

This hotel is wonderful. It is in walking distance to all major hot spots in NOLA! Would recommend this hotel to any one!!

Hotel is located in ideal place plenty to do close by during the day and one block from bourbon for the night life. Hotel staff was very nice and everytime we came back the door was opened for us. Would highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again very soon!

A classic French Quarter hotel. Our room was small, but nice with bigger than expected bathroom. Very comfortable bed. Nice flat screen LG TV, but limited channel availability. Location is great. The most impressive aspect was the very friendly staff, every one of them we met. The special free breakfast that came with the deal was excellent.

Was there for Mardi Gras, so yes it was loud, but it was supposed to be. If you want a quieter room ask for one facing the pool/courtyard. We would definitely go back. Convenient. Clean. Comfortable.

it was gorgeous, the service was great, it was just great, but its haunted, its one of the top 10 haunted hotels in new orleans and i think in the united states, and i think we saw ghost but it wasnt until our last night, BUT THE HOTEL WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND THE STAY WAS EXCELLENT, ALL SMILES

A nice hotel within walking distance to all Mardi gras activities. Our room was real small and crowded but it was a nice room. Great view of the pool area. We were on Bourbon Street and we did not hear any noise in our rooms from street noise. The last night of our stay we did not get much rest because a alot of door slamming and loud voices in our […] hallway. Door slamming also early in the am. Very friendly staff in all areas. Sheets on the bed were pretty worn but appeared to be clean. Cleaniness of the room was O.K. Overall the stay was acceptable and we would stay there again. The staff in all area was above and beyond our needs. Had breakfast in the dining area , food was good but a little cold. The buffet was clean and well kept except for the cold food, again very friendly staff. Staff in the bar was awesome and so was the front desk. We did not realize there was a tax charge on the parking so it came to $36.00 a night, which is a little pricey. Did not like that we had no idea where our vehicle was parked and they kept our keys. But we were happy to have the parking availiable and hopefully secure. Would stay at this hotel again. Mehr

Great location in the heart of the French Quarter. Very comfortable bed and I enjoyed the walk-in shower. Breakfast staff was so accommodating each and every day. The bathroom floor and shower floor could have better cleaned. My only major complaint (and this is not unique to this hotel) is the noise coming from the housekeeping staff and maintenance […] staff. Why so much talking, doors slamming, walkie-talkies shouting out directions, etc.?? I wish hotels would insist their staff to be as silent as possible as they carry out their duties. Mehr

Stayed 2/12/12, hotel is just completeing renovations. My room was wonderfully renovated, large room, black granite floor in bath, with matching counter tops, walk in shower, new carpet, bed was great, platation shutters...highly recommend. Staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel's location in French Quarter would be very hard to beat.

I was so surprised to find this great hotel in the French quarter near all my favorite sights. It was lovely, clean and had great staff. The room was so comfy-it was hard to leave. Since this was a business trip, finding a place that felt like a vacation was a real treat. Would recommend also to families, the pool looked inviting! Great value as well, […] most of my peers spent much more and did not get the authentic experience only NOLA can offer. Mehr

One block from Burbon St. and one block from Jackson Square! This hotel was convienent and comfortable! I will definatly be back!

Between Bourbon and Royal where all the French quarter action is. Great accomodations and friendly staff made for an unforgetful experience.
