Das Hote hält was es verspricht. Einziger kleiner Mangel wäre höchstens das Frühstück (Preis/Leistung). Das Hotel kann absolut empfohlen werden. So macht London Spass. Das beste Hotel das ich je in London hatte.

The Hotel is in a great location especially for travelers needing to access Paddington Station, the neighbourhood is great, pubs, restaurants. The Hotel is fine, clean etc. I can only speak to our room . They put us in a disabled room , and we are not disabled. While ultimately we may have ended up with a larger room , shower, bed etc , it's still was […] a little odd, the room is below street level through a mini labyrinth of hallways. . I don't know what they would have done if a disabled person wanted to stay while we we there. Anyway not great but not bad either Mehr

For the price that I paid, I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Although the room was small, which is to be expected, it was comfortable and the decor was done well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The train and tube station are just around the corner so that was a plus. Also, free wi-fi which is a bonus! I would definitely […] stay here again! Mehr

Good standard for being in London, wooden floor and tiled bathroom. Small but nice room. Very convenient location, close to heathrow express and walking distance to Notting hill and Hyde Park. Short bus ride or taxi to central London (Oxford street). Elevator not working, but no problem, the hotel gave us plenty of compensation.

The hotel is excellent in all respects. The only disadvantage is the size of the rooms, which are small, but that is common in big European cities. Otherwise, the hotel is excellent in terms of interiors, cleanliness, location, and especially personnel attitude and hospitality, Thanks!

November 24-26 stay, room 504. Literally 2 minutes walk from Paddington Station and underground made this a great choice for us. The hotel is smart and modern. Our room was in the basement, which was not appealing. French doors opened onto a small gravel square and faced two other rooms. The room was well appointed and immaculate but small. Bathroom […] is beautiful--heated towel rail, bath robes, amazing shower. Comfy double bed, free mini bar (soft drinks only), flat screen, turndown service. All very nice. Two minor complaints. 1. No luggage rack for unpacking. 2. Full powered hair dryer, but no where to plug it in where I could see a mirror. The room did smell of fish and chips, we complained, and the staff were quick to remedy-- (apparently the chip shop next door leaves its back door open and the smell filters into the room)--they told the chippy to close the door and then advised us to run the fan, it cleared up very quickly. This is a nice hotel and is extremely convenient to Paddington Station. Definitely has the "boutique" feel. Would stay there again.

The Hotel Indigo Paddington is very close to the Paddington Station, which means you can get National Rail trains, the tube, AND the Heathrow Express. I cannot stress the value of this convenience, especially with luggage! It's a lovely hotel, very cool design. It is an old building so the hallways and rooms are small, so I'd say it's better for single […] travelers and couples rather than families. Even with the small rooms, they have done a wonderful job of making the most out of the space available. I did not feel cramped, there was plenty of corner/closet/out of the way space for our 1 big suitcase and 1 carry on size suitcase. Wi-Fi is free in the rooms, and the staff provides you with the password at check in. It's a strong signal, too-I was able to use Skype with no issue or dropped signals. I did not try the restaurant, and the surrounding area is mainly quick fast food type stuff, although a Tesco is close by and a great fish and chip shop called Micky's. Next door to the hotel are some 24 hour convenience stores, so drinks and snacks are always available. I highly recommend this hotel. It's great for business travelers thanks to the good internet signals (and printer service if you need it) and it's so cozy that it's perfect for couples. Mehr

The hotel is quiet, clean & conveniently located. The layout of our corner room was quirky & hard to navigate. There was a fire door between the bathroom & bedroom which was a huge pain to go through. There was too much furniture in the room & no place for luggage. On the plus side the bed was comfortable & the location next to Paddington can't be beat […] for getting to Heathrow quickly. Mehr

I have only great things to say about this hotel. My single room was tiny but absolutely lovely. They make very smart and attractive use of the limited space. My room and all the public areas were bright and spotlessly clean. Loved the spacious bathroom with the wonderful shower. Location is ideal for Heathrow Express, tube and several bus lines. We had a great experience at this boutique style hotel. It has a great location, the hotel was very neat and clean and overall couldn't be happier with the service! Definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

We just got back from our trip to London. We were impressed with the hotel- the rooms were spotless, and well designed. The location is great- right on the subway line. The only issue we had is that our room was in the basement- no windows, and that, unlike what was stated on the hotels.com website, the flat screen internet in the room was not included […] in the cost of the room. Great location, stylish hotel, rooms a bit small, assume particularly the top floor ones, but, pleasantly furnished and functional, if not much room to move around. Great bathroom with a rain shower head... The only disappointment and quite a surprise was the bar/restaurant adjacent to the lobby; ordered Tanqueray Martini, turns out they don't have […] gin!!!! This is London and the bar does not stock gin????? Tried another cocktail, staff/barmen clueless. There were a few cocktails listed in a menu, all sugary concontions, did give us, however 25% discount for the blooper... Otherwise, pleasant experience, particularly the staff, who went beyond needed to accommodate. Mehr

Stayed here for 2 nights. The room was very comfortable but would have been a squeeze for 2. Only place to open luggage was right by the door - so no one could have gotten in or out when my bag was open! Bathroom was small but excellent. Rain shower was just what I needed after getting off the plane. Restaurant (London St Brasserie) offered a decent […] selection, helped by the discount voucher that I believe is given to all who stay in the hotel. Location is great for Paddington and Heathrow Express. While some may feel that the area is slightly seedy, the flip side is convenience - lots of restaurants and mini marts - you won't go hungry! The Indigo is conveniently located near Paddington Station - the rooms are small - typical european - but very modern with good amenities. The staff are very service oriented. A very positive experience.

I'd booked a twin room but didn't realise that we had a race with others who'd made a similar booking to actually get the booked accommodation - apparently the hotel only has 3 such rooms and all were gone when we arrived at 4.30pm. The attitude of the hotel receptionist was that twin rooms were on an 'as available' basis - we were offered free breakfast […] but as we were leaving early didn't accept that offer which in any case hardly compensated. We were shown two rooms, both had smallish double beds - as we had neither the time nor the energy to search elsewhere we accepted one but had an extremely uncomfortable night. I think the hotel should stop offering twin rooms as an option (or at least only take three bookings each night). It would also be good if staff could acknowledge where poor service is provided. The manager saw us when we checked out but didn't ask how our night had been - presumably knew what the answer would be. Mehr

Excellent hotel. Very modern decor. Great Staff. Front desk staff were exceptional. Nice fitness center. Nice bar and resturant. Fifty yards from the major tour bus stop for all of London. Close to many landmarks and shopping. Located in a neat area where there are nice neighborhoods as well as shopping and many resturants.

We were very impressed with this hotel. It is small but the rooms are clean, very modern and have everything you need for a stay - all the amenities are there and the decor is pretty cool as well. The best part however is its proximity to the Heathrow express train. The train takes 15 minutes from Heathrow into Paddington station and you can just walk […] for 5 minutes from the station to the hotel - which means that you can go from terminal to the hotel door in less than half hour! Also, the tube station is the central Circle line that easily connects you to mostly everywhere in Central London that you want to go. Overall, very impressed and will definitely stay there again. We chose this hotel because we stayed there last year and found the room to be very nice, modern, and tiny. The shower was great. It is across the street from Paddington Station, so if you need to leave early in the am for the Heathrow Express, it's a great location. Otherwise, the neighborhood is seedy and crowded. The tube stop at Paddington is out […] of the way and you need several transfers to get to your location. There are 3 taverns on the street and the partygoers kept me up late. This year, we only received the standard room (apparently last year we got a special and had a king executive room). The first room was so tiny and cramped we couldn't get all our luggage in. I asked for another room which was better, but also barely enough room to walk around the double bed and the bathroom was cramped. I would never stay there again. Mehr

Great location for Paddington & Central London. Great hotel with nice rooms and great breakfast, small, but it is London. I'd happily recommend this to any singles/couples, too small for families.

We'll stay at the Indigo again ... it's conveniently located by Paddington Station, staff are helpful, the room is quite spacious as London hotels go, and very clean. Also, wi-fi is free, the tv really nice, the bed comfortable, and housekeeping very helpful and accommodating. However, next time we book we'll ask for a room that does not face London […] St. We were bothered by inebriated people coming out of the area clubs all 8 nights of our stay. (This is the reason we gave "comfort of the room" a rating of 3.) I want to give special mention to a young man who worked at the front desk who, with good cheer, found us a cab when cabs were nowhere to be found. Mehr

hotel is in a superb location, lots of pubs and restaurants and a 2 min walk from paddington station for easy access to/from heathrow and to tube/bus lines. could not have been more pleased w/location. staff + service were exceptional. would definitely stay here again.

OK, so, if you are heading to London for a weekend of fun AND you fly into Heathrow, simply take Heathrow Express to Paddington Station, walk 300 yards and you're at a wonderful, hip, place that is close (via the Tube) to anything and everything in the city. The room was loaded with all the stuff a modern traveler needs, was spotless, and its decor […] was definitely NOT stuffy traditional. Add to that a professional. friendly desk staff, elevators, and plenty of food (restaurants and grocery) within steps, and you have the makings of a great place to stay for a single traveler or a couple. Don't expect US-style square footage or an incredible view...but do expect a room full of amenities and a great location. I'll certainly be back. Mehr

Nice hotel but not a 4 star hotel. Rooms are small.

Overall the hotel gets high marks--nice decor - my room although small was well appointed with a flat screen TV, rain shower, heated towel rack, modern bathroom. There are also nice touches such as turn down service, free wireless and good magazines in the room. The attached restaurant was expensive and the food was on the better side of so-so but the […] service- although very friendly - was slow, slow, slow. I didn't have a meal plan but next time I will. Really attractive, pleasant hotel. The facilities were interesting, in great shape and staff very friendly. Attached restaurant isexcellent and the neighborhood has quite a number of interesting restaurants and bars. Only negative is that the room was really small and a little pricey for the experience, but I will return there.

Overpriced, but a nice place in a good location. If you do not plan on spending much time in your room, I would opt for cheaper hotels that are plentiful in the neighborhood, even on the same street.

I had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Indigo. The staff were polite, courteous and helpful. The room was quiet, comfortable and featured deluxe amenities (deluge shower, Aveda toiletries, towel warmer) for a very reasonable price. The hotel's proximity to Paddington station was a plus. The neighborhood is rich with grocery shops, a wealth of restaurants […] and other conveniences for the business traveler. I am 7 months pregnant and had a conference in Paddington all week. It was a perfect place to stay. The room whilst small (as you would expect in London) was clean, modern and comfortable. The hotel was funky and had a great vibe. But most impressive were the staff who seemed to lack that "I just can't be bothered" attitude that you so often see in […] the heart of London. They were quite the opposite- friendly, helpful and attentive. It's not a cheap hotel but nothing is in this big city. It's the best I've stayed in for this price, especially in this area. Mehr

My husband and I spent a week in London over new years, and chose this hotel for its price, ratings, and proximity to a tube station. Hotel Indigo lived up to all of our expectations! We booked a small double room, which was still pretty roomy by European standards, and the furnishings were top-notch. Everything was clean and well-maintained, and as […] engineers we appreciated the phi and other math references in the lobby and stairwells. The nearest tube station was literally 2 blocks away, so convenient for all of our sightseeing around London, and the hotel was off the main thoroughfare enough that we had peaceful sleep every night. The cleaning staff was very understanding when we wanted to sleep in and the next-door convenience store was a welcome benefit when we wanted a snack without visiting a restaurant. Overall we had a great trip and would definitely stay at Hotel Indigo again! Mehr

Even in the sometimes grey of London in winter, the smart white front of the hotel stands out and is welcoming. The rooms are bright, modern, reflecting good taste and ultimate comfort, cleverly building in all that you require in what could be quite tight rooms. The 1st time I've stopped here but I would definitely stay again. We spent 1 night here having booked 2 rooms for myself and my 2 daughters for a quick London getaway. A great hotel very close to Paddington and the tube, very friendly reception staff and I would recommend anyone to stay here.

I travel to Europe and Asia very often so I am used to small rooms and did not think much of the reviews by other guests, but the room is really small! There is barely any place to walk around the bed and no place to put my suitcases. The capacity should not be more than 1 person. Other than the small size of the room, everything else was great. The hotel location was also very convenient, within minutes from Paddington station with easy access to Heathrow, and within walking distance to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and the Notting Hill area and Oxford Circus. I love this hotel and always stay here when in London. The staff are attentive, helpful and friendly. The rooms are small in size but the beds are by far the most comfortable I have ever slept in. Location is fantastic. Highly recommended!

This was a great hotel. The lobby was bright and cheerful. The staff at the desk were friendly. Our room was exceptionally clean. I feel the hardwood floors and good ventilation helped with keeping dust to a minimum. The bed was covered with a comforter within a cotton duvet. The only criticism regarding the room is: there should have been a top sheet […] on the bed and less throw pillows(too much clutter in a small room). The hotel is located on a side street so even though our room was in the front of the building it was quiet at night. The hotel is a half block from the Paddington Tube(subway) station so traveling to other areas of London was easy. I would definitely book here again. Mehr
