Das Hotel lässt wirklich keine Wünsche offen. Tolle große Zimmer mit allem erdenklichen Komfort. Im Badezimmer sogar ein Whirlpool! Toll wäre, wenn bei der Größe des Zimmers im Wohnbereich das Sofa eine Schlafcouch mit Aufbettung für die 3. und 4. Person eingerichtet wäre. Aber, das ist nur eine Anregung, keinerlei Kritik.Die Lage ist auch klasse, nur ein etwa 150 langer Spaziergang und man ist mitten auf dem Strip. Wenn wir mal wieder kommen, würden wir sehr gern wieder hier wohnen!!

Wir waren 5 Tage in Las Vegas im Trump. Das Hotel hat die 5 Sterne absolut verdient. Es liegt etwas abseits vom Strip, ist sehr ruhig und hat kein Casino, was uns besonders gefallen hat. Daher auch eine Nichtraucherunterkunft. Shuttel zum Caesars Pallace alle 15min, ansonsten ist man aber auch zu Fuss gleich am Strip und kann bequem durch die Fashion Show mall flanieren. Uns hat es super gefallen. Das Hotel erhebt allerdings eine Ressort-Gebühr von 25$ pro Tag. Damit ist aber Internet etc. inklusive.

Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer mit toller Aussicht, ruhig und doch sehr zentral gelegen. Das Hotel war sauber und ordentlich, leider wurde bei unseren 2 Übernachtungen nach der ersten Nacht wohl vergessen unser Zimmer zu reinigen, ok gibt schlimmeres, man kann ja die Handtücher auch 2x benutzen und da man in Vegas eh erst spät zurück ins Zimmer kommt, gehts halt mal in ein ungemachtes Bett. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel wird zur Zeit umgebaut, wir haben davon aber nichts mitbekommen, das Zimmer war schön ruhig. Da man direkt in der Freemont Street wohnt, kann man, sofern man nicht auf den Vegas Strip möchte, sein Auto stehen lassen und auch mal ein paar Drinks mehr zu sich nehmen. Die Freemont Street hat sich noch ein wenig den ursprünglichen Charme und Charakter von Vegas erhalten, es gibt hier sogar noch einige Casinos, wo man noch mit Münzen in den Slotmachines spielen kann. Wer mehr als nur 1-2 Nächte in Vegas verbringt, sollte sich diesen Teil der Stadt unbedingt auch mal anschauen, es lohnt sich. Wir würden beim nächsten Vegas Aufenthalt in diesem Hote auf jeden Fall wieder übernachten

...immer noch ein schönes Hotel (Abnutzungserscheinungen an Teppich/Möbeln...) ! Die "bis zum Boden reichenden Fensterscheiben" mit Blick auf den Strip sind und bleiben GENIAL !! Die Zimmer sind sauber. ABER die Minibar und andere angebotene "Leckereien" sind etwas too much. Trotz allem ein empfenswertes Hotel. Und auch wenn man am Anfang des Strips […] ist, es gibt eine kostenlose Trambahn bis zum Excalibur, so ist man relativ schnell mitten drin im gigantischen VEGAS !! Mehr
Das mandalay ist eines der riesenhotels am strip. Auf Grund der grösse stehen zig Restaurants, Bars , Cafés im Haus zur Verfügung. Dafür hat der check in den Charakter einer Charter Abflughalle - so ist das eben. Die Pool Area war immer überfüllt und es waren nicht genügend Liegen vorhanden. Das mandalay liegt am südl. Ende des strips. Man ist also […] nahe am Flughafen. Aber braucht immer Taxen um zu den anderen bekannten Hotels zu kommen Mehr
"Top Hotel, Top Lage, Top Pool"
Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die zimmer sehr groß, im 32.Stock mit einer tollen Aussicht (Pool). Das Zimmer war sauber, die Teppiche werden sogar feucht gereinigt. Einziger Nachteil waren die recht teuren Restaurants im Hotel. Das Buffet Restaurant ist preislich Ok und absolute Spitzenklasse. Schade nur, dass wir nur drei Nächte dort waren. "Die Poollandschaft ist ein Reinfall"
Wir haben das Mandala Bay wegen der vorher viel gelobten Pools gebucht und waren sehr enttauescht. Es ist nichts besonderes, besonders der Wellenpool. Jedes Freizeitbad in Deutschland verspricht mehr Spass und Action. Das Casino hat die eleganteste Atmosphaere. Wir empfehlen das Raffles zum Fruehstueck und das Lupo zum Dinner.
Die Zimmer im Hotel waren sehr schön und sauber. Die Lage des Hotels war für uns optimal. Da das Hotel gleich zu Beginn des südlichen Teils des Strips gelegen hat. Dort ist nicht so ein Trubel und es ist ruhiger und der Vorteil, man kann alles zu Fuß erkunden und auch die Monorail nehmen und muss nicht immer mit dem Auto los. Der Badebereich des Hotels […] ist super toll. Ein Sandstrand mit Wellenbad sowie einem Lazy River alles tropisch und schön angelegt. Allerdings verlangt das Hotel eine Resortfee von 22 US Dollar und wenn man einen Reifen haben möchte um auf dem Lazy River sich treiben zu lassen verlangen sie auch pro Reifen 27 US Dollar. Alles dort im Hotel ist sehr teuer. Wir sind abends in den Mexikanischen Grill essen gegangen und hatten am Ende eine riesen Rechnung für wenig. Trotzdem würde ich jederzeit wieder dieses Hotel wählen, da die gesamte Atmosphäre sehr entspannend ist. Mehr

"Super Hotel - schlechtes Essen"
Das Hotel ist sehr schön, der Wellenpool hat den Kindern sehr gefallen. Essen sollte man nicht in diesem Hotel, insbesondere nicht beim Italiener. Weder die Pizza noch die Past waren gut. Dafür aber teur. Schade ist, dass der Zug zum Excalibur schon früh am abend abstellt.
"Perfect mit Kindern"
Ein tolles Hotel für Familien mit Kindern, die gerne Las Vegas besichtigen möchten. Ganz tolle Poollandschaft, zwar am Ende des Strips jedoch durch die Bahn super angebunden. Zum shoppen sehr gut,da ein Qutletcentre ganz in der Nähe ist.

Zu lange Wartezeit beim check-in (15min!). Lost and found Büro öffnet erst ab 9:00, Pech wer vor dieser Zeit abfliegt, das Personal hilft einem nicht weiter.
"Tolles Hotel"
Das Mandalay Bay besticht durch wunderschöne Zimmer und einer tollen Poollandschaft. Aufgrund der Menge an Gästen kann es vorkommen, das man einige Minuten in der Schlange steht, um einen Lift zu bekommen. Die Lage am Strip täuscht ein wenig, da das Mandalay Bay am südlichen Ende liegt und man einige Zeit benötigt, bis man zentral am Strip angelangt […] ist. "Schöne Zimmer, Guter Pool"
Das Mandalay Bay liegt am Ende des Strips. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet. Erwähnenswert sind das bequeme Bett, das riesengrosse Badezimmer sowie der riesige Flat-TV im Zimmer. Die Kinder haben an dem Wellen Pool Freude. Uns hat der Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel gut gefallen.

"Rediculous Place"
The casino was horrible with comps. I played blackjack for almost 90 minutes @ $50 per hand and was comped a whopping $4. Gee, thanks Mandalay. While some guys might enjoy seeing hookers walking around seeking prey, I thought it was lacking class. Not a good place to take your wife for a getaway.

"The lazy river delight"
I enjoyed all parts of it except there was no coffee in the room and the room was quite dated, over used so to speak. The snacks were a rediculous price, didn't want to even look in the fridge,but did. No room for our stuff, so a fridge would have been nice too. The black jack tables were too high for a monday and tuesday. 25 dollars and one $15. Shame […] on all the casinios. I just want to play, but won't at those high stakes, don't they get it. cheaper tables bring more people. I went to Luxor for at least 10 dollar tables. Anyway the beach/ pool area was great, and the lazy river a delight even though paying $22 ea. was not to my liking either. I very much felt gouged! Mehr

We stayed at Mandalay Bay for 2 nights April 29 and 30. The room is very nice and the pool area is a lot of fun. We were lucky that we were able to get chairs by the pool on both days which I guess is unusual. The charge for buying a float for the lazy river was pretty pricey. You can not rent a float you must buy them. I would bring a couple from home […] or buy at a drugstore when you get there. The casino was so smokey that we were unable to gamble there at all. We only walked through the casino to get to the tram or the front door because of the smoke. We went to several casinos on the strip and this one was by far the very worst . Also, this resort charges a resort fee which should be included in the hotel rate. Mehr
"Extremely expensive"
We bought the reservation online and the price we got was a great deal and then upon checkout we got a bill for the resort fee of $25 + $3 PER night. Being that this was for an 82 yr old woman who did NOTHING in the resort I found this very expensive... Every restaurant was overpriced for average food. I was driving 12 hours while my wife flew in with two infants. Hotel would not let her check in because the reservation was under my name. (same last name) I was then required to call Hotels.com to change the reservation name while I was driving, so she could check in. No cell coverage in my car through the canyons and Desert so she had to wait there […] with a one and five year old until I got cell coverage hours later. Common sense did not prevail within the hotel that day. Request for Front Desk Manager resulted in terminal hold. Mehr

"good but more expensive than expected"
The upside: Beautiful hotel with nice pools, efficient valet parking, enough chairs when we were there (weekday). Nice and varied dining options within the hotel. The down side: We were fooled several times with the rate. Taxes and services from Hotels.com made it twice as expensive as the base rate. The hotel had a $25/day surcharge for services. The […] shark reef isn't complementary, there isn't even a discount. The hotel is on the south end of the strip, there is a light rail to Excalibur but after that it's still quite a walk to for instance Treasure island. All in all a good hotel but expect to spend a lot more money than your base rate even if you're not heading out for the casino's. Mehr

"Lots on offer...no open fridge in room!"
We loved everything, except the lack of open fridge space and a leaky battery in the TV remote...location convenient to airport and great pool and spa facilities!

Building is nice, the room is OK. However the door to the bathroom never really closes as there is a huge gap between the doors. The towels smelled oddly like dirty burned popcorn. Just minutes into our stay a staff member barged in to replenish the mini bar, kind of sloppy. On the morning of our checkout the housekeeper let herself in at 8:30 despite […] checkout not being until 11:00. And worst of all, the "beach" is so ridiculously overcrowded it is essentially unusable. Not worth the money!! Mehr

The hotel room was very nice. It faced the strip and airport. Suprisingly though the elevators are slow. Many times you had to wait a couple of minutes for an elevator to arrive. The play in the casino was tight. And very sadly we will no longer will be making our ritual dining experience at the House of Blues on our next return. The hotel is nothing great and it's far away from the rest of the strip. The only nice thing is that it has good nightly rates, but that is misleading because when you check out there are additional "resort" fees that were totally unexpected but are supposedly justified because Hotels.com says that additional fees might be charged. It's ok,My expectation was very high cos,it's Mandalay bay ,but I was wrong ,the shawer so little water coming out and casino wasn't a lot Of choices for slot machine,but the resort was good.

I have stayed at the Mandaly at least 15x ... I have never paid more or be more dissapointed by the condition of the rugs, and over all condition of the room and exterior hall way... use to be one of the great ones.
"A GREAT ESCAPE"
The staff was amazing especially Karen in the Cafe. Went to The Pub the first night,great atmosphere,fantastic food(had the fish and chips) and even live entertainment. Looking forward to my next trip hopefully towards the end of the year.

Hotel itself is very very nice -- nicest I've stayed at on the Strip. However the prices of EVERYTHING are way too high. The walk from the garage to the Registration Desk is 1/2 mile = too far. Worse, they charged me for a "Romance Kit" which I never opened and left where it was -- probably because I used "Express Check-Out" so wasn't there to catch. […] it. Mehr
It was a good hotel for kids and allowed us to avoid the casinos and seedy side of Vegas. Pool was great.
"elevators"
Our over all stay at the Hotel was great the only issue we had was the wait time for the elevators to get up to our room. It didn't seem like all the elevators were working during out stay causing us to have a 10 min or long wait to get up to our room.
"ok service"
The serivce of the hotel was just ok, the staff for the most part was rude. The service at the pool was not very good especially for the Madalay Bay being known for its pool. The best one there was a bartender at the beach pool named John, he was awesome!
