I took an unexpected trip on short and was able to get a room at Red Roof Inn. The customer service associate went up and beyond call of duty finding me.a very clean and safe motel that allowed me to check.in before 7am! I will always be booking my room at this location!!!

Comforter was smelly & old, stains on walls and ceiling, tv was an ancient tube style, batteries in remote were almost dead, mattress was old and uncomfortable. Asked for wake up call at 645, they did not call. Overall would never stay again, or recommend.

Good hotel for the money.

Decent hotel. Pretty basic, but clean. Comfortable, firm mattress. Toilet tank kept filling periodically, but I never got around to reporting it, so don't know how quickly they might have responded.

Terri (not sure of her spelling) at the front desk was very customer oriented and called the room 30 minutes after arrival to ensure everything was ok. Quiet evening and out of the way from heavy traffic. No problems to report... the stay went smoothly.

Hotel w as convenient to local amusement parks. We arrived early but was given a room that had already been cleaned. Ladies at front desk were very helpful and polite. Room was clean and bed comfortable. This is not a 5 star hotel so do not expect it to be like one! However it will fit the need for 2-3 day stay to enjoy the Worlds of Fun parks.

The room was very fifty, it looks like it hasn't been clean in weeks and it was red stains all over the carpet. I had to stay because I was on the road for over 11 hours and I was tired. I slept with all my clothes on in top of the bedding , I didn't even got under the covers. The bathroom was clean at least so I took a shower with sandals on and got […] out of there as soon as possible. The roof look like someone cut it in half and then tried to put it back together. They also had flies in the room , I had to kill them in order to get some rest since you can hear the buzz all night. Worst night of my life didn't get to sleep much , I was so scared in there since is located off the highway in one of the worst neighborhoods . Mehr

Room was immaculate. Front desk staff was aloof (not very personable). Maid did not put spread on bed each day. Did not refresh coffee supply nor bath soap. We had to ask for each day from office,

Nice clean room for the price. Would use it again.

Hotel was nice, few small maintenance issues, but for the price, it wasn't to bad.

Flight was late and we arrived close to midnite. Discussed my need for a shower stool for Mom and they upgraded me to a handicap room with a great shower. To get ice, I had to go to another building, no in-room hair dryer or coffee maker. Bedding appeared stained. Thank goodness it was cheap!

Room was very musty, and smelled like smoke even though it was a "no smoking" room.

Motel needs updating but was close to Worlds of Fun and clean. I will stay there again.

I reserved a room over 2 months prior but when I arrived the desk clerk looked on computer and couldn't find any rooms available. Another employee acted hurried and said it's only a few minutes after 2pm.Check in time is 2pm! We got a room a few minutes later. The airconditioning worked but not as good as the other rooms. The motel staff was very helpful at check-in, the rooms were clean, comfortable and the air-conditioning was great! Location was great also - close to the casino, the amusement park and the local ball parks we had to play in...I will definitely stay here for all my KC trips!

i had to clean my own room. i restocked the towels and asked for shampoo and other from house keeping. no one was at desk when i arrived. i only had 2 of us. i had booked 4. and they couldnt lower the price. the area in not easy to be in. it s just not on my list to go back to. i'm on line now to book 2 rooms with 6 of us and red roof in is not in the […] running. the only problem I had is that you have to stop at the front desk and get a tupid internet card every night, even though I had already paid for my stay in full. It's a hassle to remember to stop at the desk after I've worked all day and just want to relax. I paid in advance for the internet, just give me the access cards!!

The comfort of the king size bed, and the quietness of the surrounding rooms was extremely pleasing.

They need to get a better internet provider. I have no interest in paying t-mobile on red cent to use internet capability. They should try switching to Boingo, which is good at a lot of airports, and especially McDonalds & Starbucks

We were very pleased with ;our accomodations .

I knew that we were going to be spending very minimal time at the hotel - we would be at WOF until midnight on Saturday & up & gone to OOF on Sunday morning. We just needed someplace to sleep & shower, so I looked for the cheapest place possible. I didn't expect much, but was still disapointed. Our room smelled like a cross between body odor and raw […] sewage. It was almost unbearable. I asked for an extra pillow and was told they were out. I asked for an extra blanket and was told the same thing. I was going to use the blanket as a pillow - I wouldn't need a blanket because even running the A/C on high did not keep the room cool. I expected the place to be rundown, but this was downright disgusting. The carpet was horribly stained, and somewhat damp in spots, I am assuming due to a roof leak. No matter how tired and broke I was, I don't think I would be desperate enough to return to this hotel. On the plus side, the staff was not rude and the room seemed as clean as possible under the circumstances. This room and our stay was the same as what I had read in the reviews. Good location close to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. The room was clean, but no hair dryer, mini fridge or microwave. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Well the big problem we had was that we had 4 adults staying in the room and only 2 bath towels. When we called about getting more towels the front desk was rather rude and didnt really seem to care about it. We ended up having to find a walmart and buying more towels so we could all take showers.

The room had the bare minimum although it was clean and comfortable. Cable was available but no information available at all on tourism or where to find local restaurants. Price may have been based on it's location in accordance with Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun.

It was fine for the cost, you had to ask for more towels, only one in the room. It is off the main street but not to hard to find. The room was clean and and had no problem with staff or other renters.

I tried for over three hours to cancel the reservation by calling the hotel directly between 2 and 5 pm, but the phone was not answered. One time, I even let the phone ring for 20 staight minutes before hanging up. It was almost like they deliberately were not answering the phone to avoid any cancellations. I was unable to stay at the hotel because […] of an emergency, however, I got stuck for the room charge anyway since I wasn'r t able to cancel by the 6pm deadline. I will never stay at this hotel again and will tell everyone I know about it. Mehr
