Breakfast was very good for Italian standards (they had fruit, cereals, eggs, yogurt and pastries). The location couldn't have been better - right in the middle of everything. The only downside is that Florence is very expensive in summer months, so we were lucky to have stayed in such a nice hotel for such a good price (but it was February). I would highly recommend this hotel.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 4. Dez. 2012Sehr positiv. Ein Nachteil : ist wahrscheinlich der Moderne geopfert. Zwischen Zimmer und Bad ist ein Fenster. Dadurch wird der Schlafende geweckt, falls im Bad in der Nacht das Licht eingeschaltet wird,. Dies wird uns jedoch künftig nicht davon abhalten, es bei Bedarf wieder zu buchen. Mich ärgern generell Gäste, die zu jeder Unzeit so laut sind, dass die schlafenden Gäste geweckt werden.

Nov. 2012Country Relais Villa l'Olmo was a real surprise, charming, wonderful people at the front-desk and in service, knowledgeable and immensely helpful.The appartements sparkling clean, a well appointed kitchen (even with a dishwasher), comfortable beds - and the views!!! Just 20 minutes from downtown Florence, a straight and easy drive. We will be back!

"Sehr gutes Hotel in bester Lage."
Sehr schoenes Hotel in direkter Stadtlage Florenz.Alle Sehenswuerdigkeiten zu Fuss erreichbar.Zimmer war etwas klein,aber schon und neuwertig eingerichtet.Kein Strassenlaerm zu hoeren. Fruehstueck hatte alles zu bieten, Saft und Capucchino aus der Maschine schmecken nicht so sehr.Sehr nettes Personal,nur der Empfang wirkte sehr desinteressiert.(kein […] Guten Tag,nichts). "Das Hotel Best Western Premier Laurus liegt zwischen Dom und Bhf."
Tolle Frühstücksterrasse mit Blick auf Dom und Altstadt. Vom Hotel aus ist alles im Zentrum fußläufig zu erreichen, es ist sehr zentral gelegen, daher ist die Anfahrt mit dem Auto selbst mit Navi nicht ganz einfach. Das Hotel hat vermutlich wegen der Altstadtlage keine eigenen Parkplätze. Das nahegelegene Parkhaus am Bahnhof kann einen sehr, sehr teuer […] kommen, so dass sich das Angebot der Rezeption, das Auto in einer fremden Garage unterzustellen, als günstiger erweisen dürfte. "Very good, with just a few annoyances"
Great location about 2 minutes from the Duomo and thus the very center. No traffic noise thanks to the double doors in the room facing the street. Room and bathroom where in very good condition. Nice terrace on the roof-top for breakfast which was fine, but nothing spectacular. The bed was very short: I'm 183 cm and I couldn't sleep fully stretch out […] which was somewhat annoying. Trying to drive to the hotel by car, even with a GPS, was very complicated due to all the oneway streets (of course, this is not the fault of the hotel). Great location right near the Duomo. Room was fairly clean, nothing fancy but ok (kind of more dorm-like than a hotel room). However it was tiny and the bed was really hard. "January in Florence"
We visited at the end of January 2013. The location of the hotel is excellent -- a few minutes walk from the main train station in Florence and only 2 minutes walk from the Duomo. It is right on the edge of the designer shopping streets on one side and the more bohemian student quarter on the other. Our bedroom was on the top floor and had a view across […] the rooftops to San Lorenzo and the Cappelle Medicee -- really lovely. The room was big enough for us, with an adequate bathroom, all clean and well maintained. The breakfast room was one floor below us, with a lovely balcony with views across the city and of the Duomo. Good choice of food at breakfast and helpful staff throughout the hotel. They are running a programme called Life Beyond Tourism, which aims to encourage visitors to get a better understanding of the culture and spirit of the place. The best thing about this hotel is the location. Easy to visit the main places of interest in Florence and go back to the hotel to make a coffee or have some lunch. Note that you can have a tray with kettle coffee tea delivered to your room daily for free. This is a definite plus considering the price of these incidentals when out sightseeing. Breakfast […] was adequate and staff helpful. Everywhere clean when we stated that bulb had gone in the bathroom it was promptly changed. We were really pleased with this hotel. Location was great! Our room was really comfortable and very spacious, also the bathroom was really good size and clean, so we were really please with that because the bathroom in our hotel in Rome was tiny. The hotel was excellent and could not have been better, and the front-desk staff were very helpful. The room was a little dated for a four-star. We also had a premium room with a King and a view, so I was surprised by the hard bed. Location within walking distance from rail station and the Duomo Cathedral. Bathroom was luxurious in size with a full size soaker tub - rare find in our travel in Italy. We stayed for 3 nights and loved the hotel. The rooms are modern and clean, the staff is friendly, and the location can't be beat. Just steps to the Duomo and all major sights accessible by foot. Conveniently located, just 4 blocks from Florence train station (Firenze SM). About same distance to Uffizi Gallery and to Academia Gallery, Ponte Vecchio and to the beautiful cathedral. Safe surroundings and even a 24 hrs Mac Donnalds close by, if you need a very late or early morning snack. What a pleasant surprise, the location of this hotel is excellent.. We had a great room 606 with a terrace and view, breakfast was awesome.. The hotel was fantastic. It was well located. The rooms were clean and modern. Staff were very helpful and gave great recommendations for dining from a maze of restaurants. All the sights were within walking distance. There was a coffee shop on the ground floor for a quick coffee before starting our day. This hotel is in a prime location for visiting the sights of Florence. Our room was very comfortable and like the rest of the hotel was kept immaculately clean. The location is perfect. My room was large even for American standards. The decor was updated and cheerful. The bathroom was large and the tub was big and so needed after so much walking. Fantastic hotel with wonderful staff walking distance to all key sights. We had a view room facing the chuch and the street - very nice. Breakfast was excellent and the espresso machine provided morning jolt of great coffee. The view from our room was excellent and even better with our complimentary drinks on the 6th floor terrace bar. Staff were friendly and extremely helpful.
